Hi Ladies, I tried making chocolate molds from the snowflake moulds but they kept breaking and the tips especially. Can you do a video on using the snowflake moulds to get the best results? Thank you.
We haven't used the snowflakes with melted chocolate, but many have successfully, I think one thing that helps is using the candy melts instead of actual chocolate. I would post this question in our sugar arts facebook group here: facebook.com/groups/iodsugar ( the header has an image of chocolate snowflakes! )
Hi if you paint when the clays wet,will it go mouldy underneath ?
Hi Deb! I don't think it would get mouldy, but it might mess up the mounding a bit if it isn't dry yet.
can you use a brayer to flatten the clay and sharpen the microrim.
Yes, we've definitely seen people use the brayer that way. You could also use an old credit card to flatten the clay and clean along the micro rim.
