I am new to your videos and am enjoying them. Please do not take your older videos down. I learned a lot. If people do not want to hear the chit chat, then all they have to do is fast forward. Some people for some reason have to be rude and do not know how to tell you nicely that they prefer less talk. My mom always taught us that if you do not have something nice to say then just do not say it. Anyway, thanks for all the things you share with us. I have subscribed and are following you on Facebook and Pinterest.
I'm inspired by the creative possibilities of IOD moulds! Just started painting with chalk paint and saw someone using your moulds. The pots are a great idea! It's so difficult to find decorative pots that are really attractive and worth the investment.
I am always afraid to start. Once I do I feel so proud of myself. You guys, Debi, Kacha, Dionne and others have helped me with your videos. I just finished a big horned sheep head with your IOD molds and clay. I looks amazing and I am so proud of it.
Thank you so much for being vulnerable and sharing! We are so glad to hear you're moving forward in your creative journey! Congratulations on your recent project! We're proud of you too ❤️🥰
Just found you girls, just love your products that I’ve seen so far. I’ve only been doing clay for a short time but I have learned on thing that a guy told me and that was to put a damp cloth over your clay when it’s drying. It slows the drying just enough, It helps not to crack and it works for me. I just dampen a paper towel. I don’t know if it will work for everybody but might be worth a try.
Iron Orchid Designs You certainly don’t need to do this ..I’m 70 years on earth.. and I find the urge to create is stronger than ever .. after watching your videos die and one of your sisters I’m so encouraged ! I have a wonderful book that I browse every so often and there’s a quote I want to do above my daybed but I think suits what you two young women have done and are doing!! From a woman’s soul Through a woman’s eyes , By a white mans hands.. .. you create, inspire others , and give beauty to our lives!! Thank you !!! ❤️😍
I like to tear off a bit of fancy serviette and adhere it to the pot like decoupage. Just use wood glue to glue it on and a coat on top. Plaster of Paris in cake decorating moulds work great too. 💖✨💖✨💖✨💖✨💖✨💖✨💖✨💖✨💖✨💖✨💖💖💖✨💖✨✨✨💖
TIP: If you use clear wax first it will make it easier to remove colours do or tinted waxes. I teach these techniques in a local store. I love that I’ve come across your video because I am in the process of developing a workshop for the many uses of your moulds 🙌🏻 as they are so lush ❤️. Love this project 😍
Great tutorial, I had 7 kids so I know how not to be prepared too, lol. I loved the one with the heavier white wax so “Happy Mistake”. New to your product line bought one got hooked next day ordered five more. I’m so excited and in my happy place!
If I have cracking I don't want. I put a little clue in the crack and add clay to fill in and shape to fit pattern. Works great. I use a small pallet knife.
Thank you! great tutorial, now I know the secret!!! jejeje, besides you make feel me so good when I see your tutorial, glue does not work ejeje as same as in real life, all other tutorials make me feel as a totally mess! Thanks again, all success for you!!!
Where did y’all get that tree stamp y’all had to do y’all sign I loved watching what you do I want to get sum of your self I’m so glad I found the whole diy paint I’m a 65 yr ole hippie so I will love what y’all doing !!!
Pretty pottery but the thing I don’t like about “lives” is the host doesn’t do instructions throughly and so many pauses for them to stair at screen and read comments of viewers comments.. all lives for for any projects..
I agree. I want the process, and the chit-chat is often personal with people I don’t know and a bore. If there’s another person who can read the comments while the first person teaches, that’s a little better. But generally I tend to skip “lives”, cuz I have-you know. A life.
And she seems so disorganized. I could only stand it for the first seven minutes and left! But she isn't as bad as her buddy, Debi from Debie's Design Studio. If ya really want to learn something, too bad. All they do is yack and talk to eachother and run around looking for supplies that they didn't have prepared!
Hi i lové all your iod transfert but i would like to say to you you havé à transfert that says : la Jardin. But i am french. And you do not say (là jardin ) you say ( Le jardin ) this would be nice to write it thé good Way ! Love lové all your transfert thank you so much !l. Please do not be offended by my message ! Lyne
You can also use a white acrylic paint with glaze medium added and wipe away after a few minutes, it leaves a similar effect. Make sure you wax or seal afterwards though :)
Hi Sally is IOD in US the same as IOD UK? I watched a UA-cam channel with another artist Fairy.... forget the whole name but I was watching and she mentioned IOD. And then I realized there was a company in the UK.
Just to say I so far have over 700 likes and comments on Facebook for one of my plastic plant pots. I used birdsong and other IOD moulds I already had. I wonder if you've seen sue zomar . the one with the Canadian Flag. Also I'm groovy GMA 57 on Instagram. I'll be snapping some photos soon . ive been really working at my art while being sick so it takes a while as I must lay down about every half hour or less lol. I love you girls dearly. Stay well stay blessed.
what was that kid show where she looks in the mirror and says "I see Tommy and Jessie and oh there is Claire too!. I see Nancy and Sandy and little Sue" OMG thought I would lose it lol
Wow, great end result, but I have got to tell you not having your supplies together and making what should have been a five minute demo go on and on was really hard to watch. You seem like a wonderful, sweet person but dang.
sorry Gerry, this is an older video and I failed to update with our new links. please check our store locator here to find a brick and mortar store near you: ironorchiddesigns.com/find-a-retailer/ you can also use that locator to search for online stores that will ship to you!
Interesting product and end result but dear God too much interaction with other people (makes a person feel left out, not part of your "in crowd") and your camera issues, yeesh. I kept forwarding the video to get "TO THE POINT." I would not subscribe because you don't make people feel welcome.
Love the products, they're amazing. Just one thing, your French is wrong on a number of things - someone who is fluent in French should check things before you release them. Best wishes. (Edit: You were right, vertical/portrait camera position is v bad for broadcasting, you need landscape position so your audience can see more than a third of the screen.)
Nice products and nice outcome, but because you take time to greet people coming online and adding so much UN necessary small talk it becomes very frustrating to listen to. Would be so nice to not waste so much time, just give the instructions and get on with it. Please.. stop saying hi to everyone and talking about so many things that don't matter to the subject matter. Very frustrating for those who want to view and learn. Not sure I could gruel through any other instruction videos you might post after sitting through this one. I wish this was not so because you have a nice product, and are a beautiful lady.. but please re think all of the viewers you are loosing due to some of the things I mentioned. Hope you biz is successful.
Sorry Sharon, this was originally a facebook live video, so there does tend to be more talking and interaction. Hopefully you can enjoy our other more streamlined videos on this channel!
Please leave out so many extraneous stuff and get on with the project. Unlike you, i don’t have all day. Friendly is wonderful, but you take it overboard.
Hi Mildred 😁 This was originally a live and so it’s more chatty than usual. In our normal videos we’re not talking as much. I was actually going to take this video down for that reason, but it’s a fave amongst our viewers. ❤️
I love IOD products,, but this is a teaching video, not social hour. Be prepared and don't make us watch and listen to you saying hi to your viewers or telling us about your personal stories, it's irritating.
Oi, juicy used in context with art makes my jaw clench. Not sure i can listen to that word used like that...is it just me? Please find another word...I really really love your work...
Wow, great end result, but I have got to tell you not having your supplies together and making what should have been a five minute demo go on and on was really hard to watch. You seem like a wonderful, sweet person but dang.

Nanette Dunn thank you Nanette 😁 so wonderful to have you and your sweet spirit ❤️
I completely agree with you !✌🙏

Great advice. Just start!!!! Thanks for the words of encouragement!

Hi Sally - my name is Gayle and I am a Newbe - can’t wait to start a project,
Hi Gayle! So glad you're here! Happy Creating!
Carmen hi love your designs
Gorgeous products in this line. I love everything I have seen and used! Where have you been all of my crafting life?

You are Presh, Sally. Love the “realness”....lol.....the Sister relationship is my FAVE😍love love love my sister.
Love this idea on pots.. cause I love house plants. This may be my first time trying the clay.🪴
We'd love to see what you do with it!!💗

Hello from Virginia love you product
HI Charlene! ❤❤

Love, Love, Love!!
It is beautiful!!!! Like you and your soul!!
Thank you for showing a technique I was struggling with for a while.
I've got 3 made since yesterday lol. You are one gorgeous lady! Groove on girlfriend.🙋🥀✌🙏
Rock on! Clearly you are too (and also one busy lady)!
I love what your doing. U sell all supplies and where.
Great tutorial, I had 7 kids so I know how not to be prepared too, lol. I loved the one with the heavier white wax so “Happy Mistake”. New to your product line bought one got hooked next day ordered five more. I’m so excited and in my happy place!
Cracking and even breaking looks so much more authentic!
I think you should have painted bottom of pot and about 1 inch inside pot. Would have looked more uniform
What mold is used? Floor mold? No links and not even sure what to search for
Just ordered my first mold and I’m in love Tnx so much will
Be ordering more 🌸💕
I put my clay filled moulds into the freezer for 5 minutes, they come out perfect
Yessss🙌❤️
I bought your air dry clay. Not paper clay. What is difference?
Can you use the stamps on glass, mainly on old glass windows?
If I have cracking I don't want. I put a little clue in the crack and add clay to fill in and shape to fit pattern. Works great. I use a small pallet knife.
I have just started using iod molds. How often do new molds and stamps come out.
Hi Jana! We usually have 3 to 4 new releases a year! Each release usually has a few different stamps, moulds, transfers and paint inalys😊
Beautiful.
love love your video. I learnt a lot
Wow! Those are beautiful!
Thank you! great tutorial, now I know the secret!!! jejeje, besides you make feel me so good when I see your tutorial, glue does not work ejeje as same as in real life, all other tutorials make me feel as a totally mess! Thanks again, all success for you!!!
I'm using the IOD molds with the clay on terracotta what do I seal it with because I'm going to put plants in them.
Hi Shirley! Any water based sealer will work wonderful😊
Where did y’all get that tree stamp y’all had to do y’all sign I loved watching what you do I want to get sum of your self I’m so glad I found the whole diy paint I’m a 65 yr ole hippie so I will love what y’all doing !!!
So simple!💙
I LOVE THIS SO MUCH!!!
Pretty pottery but the thing I don’t like about “lives” is the host doesn’t do instructions throughly and so many pauses for them to stair at screen and read comments of viewers comments..
all lives for for any projects..
I just want the information I could with less chatter.
I agree. I want the process, and the chit-chat is often personal with people I don’t know and a bore. If there’s another person who can read the comments while the first person teaches, that’s a little better. But generally I tend to skip “lives”, cuz I have-you know. A life.

Where to get your products. I heard Prima is no longer affiliated with you. I would like a catalog or website to order from. Can you help.
Lyne
Lyne, Oui! Je suis d'accord. Mais c'est (transfer) en anglais!
I know, 🙈🙈🙈 it was a mistake that we were terribly embarrassed by. Since then if we use French verbiage we have our French lovelies check it for us!
I’m in
❤️
I’ll wait for perfect in heaven.. I’ll take flawed now..
Hi, great tutorial. Can anyone tell how exactly is called this white wax?
This is Annie Sloan's White Wax, available only through select Annie Sloan Stockists found at www.anniesloan.com
Yes it’s Annie Sloan white wax but you can find white wax from Folkart.....however I teach Annie Sloan workshops and this wax is beautiful
And then I realized there was a company in the UK.
peggy chiarello yep! There are stores in the Uk that carry our line :)
My sister is a year younger than me and always makes point to say I’m the oldest
Sisters are good for keeping you humble - that's what we always say! :)
💗💗💗
Are you still in your craft room?
Hmmm, I’m sure this lady used to work as a live video “model”. No prob;em just saying she has the video skills 😁 and beauty.
Please be prepared next time.

Romper room
Wow, great end result, but I have got to tell you not having your supplies together and making what should have been a five minute demo go on and on was really hard to watch. You seem like a wonderful, sweet person but dang.
Helpful if you list your supplies

So Sally girl, how does one get on live with you please?
Haha! Ms Suezee - can't believe you're watching this oldie, but goodie viddy!
It is difficult to tray to learn the process and look a you looking to your friends on cámara and making comentsm not to professional….
To much talk. Just show us how you do it-
Sorry Sharon, this was originally a facebook live video, so there does tend to be more talking and interaction. Hopefully you can enjoy our other more streamlined videos on this channel!
Iron Orchid Designs Sally i loved your chit chat, tutorial was such fun, thank you
I’m Texas née naw I love you
Actually after ten minutes.. I just can not deal with all the NON stop chit chat and non sense. Have to hit the stop button.
nnu110 hi there! This was a live from Facebook :) and it’s Fairly old. We’ve gotten more streamlined in our approach :) thanks for your feedback.
Add a little petroleum on tip problem solved
#Replay
Could you please condense this to a 15 minute video.
Good grief! "Now we're going to do the transfer". THAT DOESN'T EXIST!
Hi
The chattiness and hometown tones are a turn-off to me. I need plain directions. And so I skip thru the video.
We appreciate the feedback, Marcy. Thanks for watching. :)
Please leave out so many extraneous stuff and get on with the project. Unlike you, i don’t have all day. Friendly is wonderful, but you take it overboard.

Are you on drugs?
Wow, great end result, but I have got to tell you not having your supplies together and making what should have been a five minute demo go on and on was really hard to watch. You seem like a wonderful, sweet person but dang.
Hi
