Enjoyed as usual, thanks Simon. I had a good little shoot last week from the comfort of my sittingroom. First one on Thursday, t'wife said there was a rat under the bird feeder. Had to go out to mi garden bar to get mi gun and sticks, as rat took refuge in our hedgehog house. Got sat on settee arm with mi sticks and patio doors open, not seven yards off target. It suck head out, and that was number one. Then Friday, same scenario. Two under bird feeder, and one off table. Funny thing was, t'wife said she wasn't stopping to watch, so went to kitchen. When I shot second it twitched about six foot across the patio. I heard this shout, "It's still alive!" She was only watching back garden CCTV on her phone. I ask you!

Great envy for our beautiful landscape, Simon. I live about 28 miles away from Ely Cathedral, and I can see it without binoculars from my ground-floor window....
You keep on giving us great entertainment Simon, things are picking up here too been out a few times now but I’m catching forever in the fenn traps I have set in boxes that I have dotted around including my back garden, got one the other morning and it was huge a proper big buck that’s obviously been around for a while, definitely one you wouldn’t want running up your leg! 19 inches from nose to tail and a body as big as a house brick and a set of plumbs like marbles. Using left over pizza tied on with garden twine that way they have to tug at it and it’s lights out or the good old peanut butter but the flipping mice soon clean that up leaving the traps bare and unsprung. How’s the old boy doing keeping warm in front of that fire, best spot to be!
Hi Simon watch all your vids it's like home from home I've got a wolverine r like you and I have rapids a .177 and .22 my .177 is like yours the most accurate gun I've had in 30 odd years of airgunhunting.
Dang Brother, as usual, nice shootin'. I was really surprised with that second miss; it looked spot on to me when you sent the rounds down range. Anyway, thanks for the content, I really appreciate you.

Hi Simon, Thank you for another great video and for showing us your beautiful Theoben air rifle. I remember when they first came out. To me, they looked like a fantastic invention, and even then, so pleased they were two British gentlemen from Cambridge who invented them. I had, by today's standards a strict upbringing, and although my late dearly loved father was a shooter, I was never involved. I sometimes wonder if I should have been more assertive and followed my instincts. However, in those days, if your parents told that, you weren't to do something, that you didn't do it. No maybes or might do's, it was a straight red. Far different to today's world. I've just recently purchased a legal limit 12ftlb, Theoben Rapid MK 2 air rifle in .22 calibre, which I'm thrilled about but haven't used much. I never in my lifetime thought I'd be lucky enough to own one.I'm used to connecting a hose to the fill port on my air rifles. The Theoben is a little different, where the buddy bottle has to be detached, filled, and then replaced.I've seen an attachment where it fits in between the air rifle and buddy bottle. It has a fill port and gauge. To a novice like me, this looks fantastic as the bottle won't need to be detached to fill, and the gauge will read how much air remains in the buddy bottle. Do you think this is a good idea in your experience? Maybe it's neither here nor there. If you have any advice, Simon, I would be very grateful for your opinion. Thank you. Best wishes, Ian.
Thanks Ian and ye mine actually has the quick fill fitted but it started leaking only last week so i have took it off for now until i get a new o ring for the fill port, and ye the Rapids in my eyes are sent from the Gods they shoot so well because this one of mine really is a tack driver.
@simon6ppc246 Hi Simon, Thank you for your reply. As an experienced Theoben user, would you stay with the add-on gauge, use it and put up with 'o' ring failure every now and then? Obviously, the add-on unit incorporates more joints that require seals and more chance of leakages. However, it saves the rigmarole of keep having to detach the buddy bottle every time a fill is required. Thank you, Ian.
@@ianwoods1384Hi Ian, I have a RAW quick fill ang gauge on my Theoben MFR, it has proven very reliable as the MFR uses a different system to the Rapids.
