My 22 Vespa GTS 300 handles and performs perfectly, city, highway, twisties… acceleration, braking, speed 80 mph easily and 12” tires handling not an issue at all. Yes the storage is challenging.
After riding my 2014 GTS across the United States in the 2023 Scooter Cannonball. It was comfortable, nimble and extremely reliable. The twists were an absolute blast! My opinion, it's the perfect two wheel vehicle 🛵
I have a 2022 GTS, I find the brakes to be very good. If you are scraping the center stand you may be riding a bit too aggressive. I ride mainly on backroads where I live and take corners pretty fast without scraping any parts. It just a fun scooter to ride and own!!
The Vespa looks cool and stylish I have to admit. The Yamaha XMax I can comfortably fit in 2 full size helmets and even a leather jacket with 2 pairs of leather motorcycle gloves. My XMax has gone on many long trips and it’s like riding on a lazy boy arm chair. Cheers NZ.
Ride a 2017 GTV300(Sei Giorni) and it's awesome. Upgraded to Bitubo suspension, Brembo brakes, Akrapovic and Piaggio Multimedia Platform. There a lot of Rizoma thrown in too. Can easily do 1000km rides in a day with speeds around 110kph. Petrol range on a tank of fuel is around 200km and you can get a 5L under seat reserve container too 🎉 My other bikes are MV Agusta Dragster RC, Ducati Panigale, Triumph Daytona 675R and etc Country: New Zealand
Good review. It’s helpful to hear other people’s experiences and point of view. I added a mid sized windscreen and a rear topbox to my 2023 GTS 300 SuperSport. This made it much more versatile. Acceleration, braking and ride quality is fine. I love it, for all types of riding that I do in Australia. It really shines for local and regional riding, but I take it on the highway too (110km/h is the open road limit here).
2023 gts base 300 here, paid 1/2 price in October 2023 with 1100 miles Ex static 1st ride in mid may Canada Snow storm warning today Hope mid may snow stays away

Take the footboards off and invest your savings in underseal . Otherwise a great bike .

I shall agree that the Vespa is a piece of art and magnificent history. Better looking than my Yamaha XMax.
Cheers NZ.
Good video - I appreciate the dubbed english audio too.
If you don't like Vespa, you don't like spaghetti!
Watching the rider blast along the twisty roads was terrifying: the scooter looked on the ragged edge!
change to 13 inch rims, the handling & cornering improve a mile…
I'm 5'8" 165lbs. I don't have the money for a Vespa, I'm thinking 150 Piaggio or minimoto. I hate freeways and don't want to go on them.
You sound like.....buy a Vespa. Don't buy a Vespa. Buy a Vespa. Don't buy a Vespa. WTF...Haha 😂
