    I had a 250 GTS a number of years ago which I drove for two summers putting on 8000 km. It's a very high quality machine that's quiet and cozy. You and an adult passenger can ride for hours at a time in comfort not matched by any other small displacement machine or most other bigger bikes. I've owned lots of bikes over the years and the GTS was one of my favourites.

    Why the f*ck this guy has only 30k subs? With this quality and quantity he deserves at least 150k

    I am 5 feet 5 inches tall and 151 lbs. Would I able to ride the Vespa GTS Supertech and will my feet reach the ground when I am completely stopped. Thank you.

      They will if you stand in front of the seat when you stop. That’s a common way to handle scooters.

    Please do a Vespa App connection thing review. I can’t find any information on how it works, and how does it interact with helmet headsets. I rented a GTS locally for test drive and does not feature this function. Also on the base GTS there is a temperature gauge. Did they remove the temperature gauge on the top of the line Super Tech? And what is the difference between Super Sport and Super Tech besides the display. Thanks!

      You have to use the Vespa app to see engine temperature otherwise it’s just a temp warning light. Dumbest thing ever Vespa app is very crude and difficult to get connected.

      @@ljohnson9440 how hard is it to install one? They have an entire display so they can display whatever they wanted, and they don’t show me my engine temp

    Could you tell me(if you know of course) what the top speed is on the Vespa primavera 125?

      @PeterLoweOne  3 місяці тому

      I’m not completely sure because they don’t sell that model in Canada, which is where I film.

    Another clue that it is a GTS is the passenger pegs. Primaveras and Sprints don't have the passenger pegs.

    One thing I’ve learned is to never trust the side stand that’s the first thing that goes in the recycle bin.

    I would like to see u do a review of the yamaha tracer 7 and 9. Thinking about getting one but on screen it looks like a mt07/9 with a fairing compared to the versys 650 which looks way bigger. Never seen them in person though. I'm a big guy. Over 6' and over 250 lbs so I want to be sure which one to get

    Vespa advertises over 80 mph with this trim. I’m a bit underwhelmed by its performance as demonstrated in your tests.

    • @PeterLoweOne
      @PeterLoweOne  4 місяці тому +2

      It's not going to be for everyone, but when I mentioned a top speed around 60 mph, I was referring to the 150, not this model.

      @us1fedvet 4 місяці тому +2

      @@PeterLoweOne thank you. In your opinion, do you believe the 300 is worth the considerable extra premium over the 150 for the typical scooter rider, ie, not doing long distance rides over the freeway but using it for around town jaunts, pleasant rides in the country on two lane blacktop, and the very occasional foray onto a highway?

      @@us1fedvet I have had a Vespa GTS 300 for over ten years, I now have the HPE engined super tec. I have used it for commuting, 60 miles round trip, running around town and touring with a pillion. I have had big bikes and the GTS is much more user friendly and is more than man enough for all those applications. The only niggle for me is I prefer the analogue display, thats just me I prefer the look. If you are going to carry a passenger regularly like I do consider fitting the pillion foot peg extenders. Its more comfortable for the pasenger and it puts their feet further back from yours. Happy riding 😎

      My GTS will ride with pillion all day at 70mph comfortably. I have had more than one GTS over the last 11 years and I love them. I have hired various bikes and scooters over seas. I live in England, nothing rides like the Vespa. Solid sure footed feel.
