just want to say i appreciate your attention to detail with the lighting, atmosphere, camera angles, editing, and your straightforwardness. Just a really good content creator and people probably take all these little things for granted. keep up the great work. it will pay off.
Tracks from scratch are my favourite kind of videos on youtube...you can learn a lot!!! And your channel is my new favorite just above Ricky Tinez, Fact Against the clock and Dapayk. Thanks a lot Ihor!! Peace and…have fun!!
best follow along for push 2 i've ever seen, made a loop also, never used my push so much lol. Ableton really needs content like this also. Thanks a lot
Man, I got a Push 2 over a year ago and only used it like 2-3 times because it was a lot to take in. Your video clearly shows how to use it quickly and easily to build a track. Time to hook it back up!
Wonderful presentation. I've had Push 2 and Live 10 for a few years but have not fully used it because of so many other hardware boxes I have tried to learn. This inspires me to get back to using Push 2. Love your music, thanks and keep up the videos.
Ihor, that closed hat on Track 1 keeps me grooving. Thank you for all the tips, I'm making progress thanks to you. Especially on the kick/rumble and clap designs, short kick, sub rumble and punchy clap makes all the difference.
Thanks mate! I appreciate it. Glad you dig it and even more glad you roll your progress too. Hope you have fun! Short kick, sub rumble and punchy clap - short list of must haves for me
hell yeah. Going to try this out today using this video … I’ve had push 2 for 2 years and never really use it but now I think with a project in mind and try to make a song on it, I’ll have a purpose when I sit at my laptop instead of 8 bar loop and then never getting any further lol. by the way these tracks turned out pretty good!
Ihor, I learned so much from watching you ever so closely. Great tracks, great to see your processes, and so much Simpler put to such good use. Thanks man.
Exactly what Push2 was designed for. I wish there was an easier way to mute parts in the session though without leaving the bottom row blank like you also did in this video.
Hell yes man! Hell yes! This muting is a little painful. I also constantly fail to mute the clip on time, because you need to do it a little in advance.
@@markbooth Makes sense! Though I kinda understand how it works. It is all about quantised clips and you schedule their playback depending on the global quantisation setting. Which perhaps makes a lot of sense. Tho a little hard to use :) Would be great if they implemented something to make it easier
You can hit mute + track selector (the track buttons at the top) to mute the track. Would that work for your purposes? You can also "mute lock" with the Push 2 by holding down mute briefly (and then hit a corresponding track for example).
I sold my Push2 and buy the digitakt, because it slows my workflow, but its on my list to buy again, its a amazing piece of gear, and when i see you making two track that fast😁
For me Push was kinda the same. Too many things around that actually slow you down. But it all comes down to limitations, I guess. Here I used Push as an 8 tracks groovebox and it worked dope! However if you have a Digitakt - just create music on it! 😊 Thanks for kicking in! ✌️
Thank you ...Thank you. Push 2 arriving in a few weeks and trying to get a little ahead of the game and found this video. And now my journey begins. Love ya work chap!
Nice! Glad it helped you! ✌️ Push might be overwhelming at times because it is just limitless. As much as Ableton Live is. What helps me is to set those boundaries myself! Like I did in this video!
Dude you are off the hook!!! You make it look easy lol. My push 2 is on the way so I appreciate the motivation. I'll be like going back how did he do dat!. Anyway love it. Instant subscribe
Nice edits on the fly. I just bought a used push1 for 200 bux. It will probably make me want the 2nd version, however they are essentially the same thing in most aspects. I understand that i would still want to use the computer to get at VST settings, and that applies to the many VST's that require their own interfaces that would not import the interfaces into the push2, therefore, i can still get away without needing the push2 as my guitar based VST's are beyond the editability within the push as a surface controller itself. The giant softkeyboard and very usable ribbon controller layout for high velocity solo work as a digital guitar running exact guitar samples and amplitube effects and amp modelling is going to be very groovy! Only about 12 days away from the thing being delivered, so i study about it further until it arrives. Thanx for sharing your push2 demonstration, and thankyou for being one of the first countries to make the levels dettuce completely legal! Rock on captain.
Very great man :) You're sending some stuff to the reverb and delay channel. Would this be also recorded (and rendered in the .wav / .mp3) when pressing record so that everything goes over to the Arrangement view?
I am SOLD!... Thank you sir. I have been hunting for a tool that can perform, trigger samples and stems, and make my own back here while playing. Amazing. and lovely beats Ihor =)
Thank you Waldemar! I appreciate you! To be honest I've never thought of these tracks as something to put out there separately from the videos. They aren't really finished tracks. I will think what can I do there! Thanks for the suggestion! ✌️
everytime hes finished. he goes into session mode line 1 = aa a a a aaa a a = intro etc line 2 = b b bb b b bb b b = pre chorus etc line 3 = chorus etc if he presses record as he does that it pastes a final arrangement that every DAW recognizes to be edited this sounds very complicated for a very simple thing. Basically, your song structure is finished/to be refined etc
This was sick! First track sounds a bit like Daniel Avery; I dig it. Thanks for the thorough walkthrough. Makes me pumped to pick up a Push in the future. Will you be getting a Push 3?
Hey Cole! Thanks for your feedback! I very much like Daniel's music. He is a huge inspiration! I will be able to try the Push 3 in a few weeks. Planning to make a beat from scratch video too! Stay tuned ;)
This is easily the best beats from scratch I’ve ever seen done on Push 🙏 Respect
😮i absolutely aggree! Thanks for the idea to use my push a much simpler way than before👍👽
just want to say i appreciate your attention to detail with the lighting, atmosphere, camera angles, editing, and your straightforwardness. Just a really good content creator and people probably take all these little things for granted.
keep up the great work. it will pay off.
Thank you Jamie! Glad to read such very kind words of feedback
This guy knows what he's doing, so much is sure.
Just got a Push 2 and slowly learning my way into it, this kind of stuff is immensely useful beside being cool as hell 🔥 thanks for sharing
You are by far the FASTEST Push 2 user I've ever laid eyes upon!!!
I've had my Push 2 for nearly 2 years and I'm nowhere near as fast as you are! 👍🏾😲💖
Thank you! ❤️
Makes me want to learn how to use push more. You make it look so easy.
Man. I purchased my Push 2 and Im so happy with it. And your video is helpíng me a lot to understand this monster. Thanks!!!
Great to hear that! Thank you!
I believe you may be a Wizard Ihor
Maybe… 🧙♂️
Tracks from scratch are my favourite kind of videos on youtube...you can learn a lot!!! And your channel is my new favorite just above Ricky Tinez, Fact Against the clock and Dapayk. Thanks a lot Ihor!! Peace and…have fun!!
Thank you Carlos! Glad you like my content! Ricky Tinez is my biggest inspiration! ✌️
I love your channel, and this video inspires me to spend more time with Push instead of thinking about buying a modular system :)
Thank you Zac! ✌️Push is an incredibly powerful tool!
best follow along for push 2 i've ever seen, made a loop also, never used my push so much lol. Ableton really needs content like this also. Thanks a lot
Thanks for your kind feedback! I appreciate you!
@27:12 Yes, yes, yes, please -- that feeling, I love it. Subbed!
Bit late to the party but I've just watched this and found it really inspiring! Would love to see some more push2 Techno Jams from you!
Thank you! I am planning to make more ;)

What a quality. You earned a new subscriber. Great tutorial/performance !
Enjoyed hanging out. lol This WAS A VIBE
"What I'm planning to do with this sound is add chorus... of course" lol good stuff. You're an inspiration dude.
Thank you! Glad to hear that!

Bloody Hell mate! Just got my PUSH after years of Novation use. This video really shows it's capabilities. Top Stuff!, so inspiring!

Both tracks are nice but that second one had a nice and bouncy groove
This is the best free software Ive seen. Respect.

@@IhorMedia keep your loops fairly short and then just mute 2 beats into the bar. That seems to work best for my brain.

With such great video quality and lighting, the push looks so slick and juicy 🤪 Great tracks, as usual!!
Thank you! ✌️
I‘d really appreciate some more „from the scratch“ on push like this one!!!
Give the people more

Let’s make another one … Yes!
Very great man :)
You're sending some stuff to the reverb and delay channel. Would this be also recorded (and rendered in the .wav / .mp3) when pressing record so that everything goes over to the Arrangement view?
Damn that push gives a nice workflow....
Yes it does, overall! There are some things that I don’t like, but common. It is really good one!

Second Song: Absolutly great and groovy ;-)
Thank you!
Ihor, best song from you so far! Please do for all of us a favor and provide all songs that you do here to make a mix of that for a context ;-)

Nice thanks Bruh!!!!
