Lyrics:
And you can call me anytime
And these sixteen strings we're strummin'
They will back up every line, every line, every line
Yeah, more
Get me back
On my feet
Get me back
On my feet, on my feet
[Verse 1]
If you call me, I'll come runnin'
You can call me anytime
And these sixteen strings we're strummin'
They will back up every line
There's a motivation about you (Hey, hey)
That moves me when we're apart
It agitates my affection
And it wants to break my heart
[Chorus]
Help me, stranger
Help me get it off my mind
Get me back on my feet
Brother, can you spare the time?
Help me, stranger
Help me get it off my mind (Oh yeah)
Get me back on my feet
Brother, can you spare the time?
[Verse 2]
It's not essential that I feel you
But it's a sensitive device
I'm reverential when I hear you
I genuflect to your advice (Your advice)
Well, I wish I had the words
And I want those words to rhyme (Oh)
And I wish I had the nerve (Yeah, yeah)
'Cause I sure don't have the time
[Chorus]
Help me, stranger (Yeah)
Help me get it off my mind
Get me back on my feet
Brother, can you spare the time? (Brother, can you spare the time?)
Help me, stranger
Help me get it off my mind
Get me back on my feet
Brother, can you spare the time?
[Outro]
(Yeah, hey)
Brother can you spare the time? (Brother, can you spare the time?)
Brother can you spare the time?
Brother can you spare the time?
#1 Album in America, just glad rock albums are still able to do that.
jan279 the ticket bundles did it. but yeah still an amazing album.
Not all hope is lost thank god
Looking at things as "rock" or whatever is lame and limiting

This is the first time in a long time that I’ve heard an acoustic rock song that wasn’t overbearing with its acoustic sound and actually played as a normal rock song. I love it of course.
i know and it doesn't sound slick or over-produced. thank you jack white. now get out of fucking tidal. that streaming service is bullshit.
I think here is the influence of LZ III over Jack and the way he actualy thinks, acoustic-rock, folk-rock and country blues
It hadn't even dawned on me it was acoustic til I saw your comment!

IKR today is a damn good day
Sorry, but if you think any of these songs are "amazing" you've led a very sheltered life, musically speaking.

Raconteurs and Black Keys releasing singles side by side, trying to revive rock music from the soulless zombies that have taken it over. So beautiful I could cry.
Walter Montiel well said!
Don't talk about Greta Van Fleet like that ;)
I know where you are coming from. Back in 2012, you had all of this awesome indie rock coming out that had 60's and 70's influence, but with a modern twist. Then it was like all of the cool bands took a hiatus and we ended up nothing but synth pop rock bands. Sadly, that's all my local modern rock station wants to play. They occasionally play The Black Keys newest song, but they hardly ever touch anything Jack White.
I know right! My rock station is just a bunch of posers thinking there cool for liking rock yet when they play pop rock bands and even songs that qualify for being pop songs
@@crazyprayingmantis5596 Jack and Dan have forgotten what Greta Van Fleet haven't even learned yet
This song motivated me to get out of the hospital and to over come a life threatening sickness. To get me back on my feet. To beat Legionar's desiese last year. Now people are dealing with the Corona virus this year.
Yeah I was in hospital for way too long earlier this yr. Unnecessary blood work 6,000 worth and Unnecessary tests too. All I did was pass out that is all. I had to beg to be released. Complete looney toons that made those decisions. 😮😮
Good for you brah
Jack White somehow keeps getting better with age, he really is the seventh son!
His mother made him the seventh son!
Terrapin243 old white stripes is wonderful, but personally Blunderbuss will always be my favorite jack white material. Amazing album
He's the Man. I was Just was telling my girl that this music could have been written 30 years ago and that any song he comes near, has a pop quality at the same Level as Lennon/McCartney.
also it’s seems that he doesn’t age either
2 years ago? lol.. I keep coming back to jam to this song! Love it so much! Wanna give another thumbs up evertime lol!

Ohmigosh, that old-timey intro from Jack Lawrence...it is absolute GOLD, I love it!
What the heck is he even playing in here? I have no idea what that thing js
These four know what they’re doing pure class
I don't often leave a comment on YT.
but...
JACK...
YOU are the Master, a contemporary genius, trully.
I have goosebumps each time I listen to this song, I LOVE the guitars on this song...
Thank you !

Damn Thanos, snapping his fingers in the middle of The Racounters video.
so relatable
It happens all the time...
Yeah
Probably the only time I'll be thankful for a Spotify ad. That's how I found this.
This is awesome! That Acoustasonic is 🔥🔥🔥
Is it?
really? fender? hahaha
Sad that the most popular guitar company get this much attention LMFAO

As long as it’s the Raconteurs, it’s gonna be good
Not really, I love "Steady as She goes" and "salute your solution", but this one..... not feeling it
How did you not like this one?
@@bryangutierrez6547 same its not as great as some of their other great hits.
Julien Caesar you fucking kidding me....????..?.....?
I liked it.. looks like 7.4k others did too. Almost afraid to ask, but if you're in a reviewing mood, check out my latest track and let me know what you think
I consider myself so damn lucky for seeing them live just a few days ago! A dream came true!
I wish you all to live this experience!
Jablinski sent me. Didn't know the Raconteurs were still jamming. Good shit.
Same.
They actually just got back together recently
No idea who Jablinski is, but I'd buy 'em a drink if I were you. :P
@@mykobe981 I've known about The Raconteurs. I remember when I first saw the music video for Steady As She Goes on like VH1 or something back in the early 2000s.
Just didn't know they had a new album.
And I'm sure you know who Jablinski is. And if you truly don't, you should.
And when you Google who Jablinski is, you will realize you do indeed know who it is.
They're kinda like Gandalf, they come and go as they please.
I love how the drums and hi-hats were given so much sonic space in the mix. Sounds hella dirty!
What fascinating lyrics and mood this song immediately sets, as the filter/effect, pedal, or compression on that stripped down guitar soulfully goes to work, and Jack's voice kicks in. A perfect mix on the sound levels, the studio time spent shines, but everything remains in balance, fresh and natural, as it should be. I'm late to the party on this album and track, but it is an instant classic Raconteurs!
I'm still a bit stunned by the lyricism and simplicity of the words and phrasing, nothing in this song sounds forced, instead, it is a force of nature, a perfect balance of ballad and rock, just the right amount of grit and bite, while maintaining that inner voice and thoughts in the passion. This sound and song has a maturity about it, like a well-rounded fine wine, every flavor comes through.
Damn I'm so pumped for that album. Can't wait for it.
when?
@@mautesius it's getting released on the 21st of June
this song is so heavy
Definitely trying to see them live this year for the first time. Already saw Jack White live last November. I cried when he stepped on stage. Love him soooo much. Traveled 9 hours just to visit TMR in Detroit. I have a Jack White sticker on the bumper of my car and I drive around with such pride knowing that it’s there ☺️ Didn’t get to see The Dead Weather or The White Stripes 😔If only one day...
He is my Hero, too. An absolute visionary in an era of vacuous and self indulgent fraudsters.
Same, can’t wait to see them in August! 🤘🏽
I saw Jack White last year and The Raconteurs this year and he only played one song both concerts, they were both great, but The Raconteurs are on another level.
*Hey Raconteurs, we salute your comeback.*
Gotta say we love the Raconteurs all the way over here in the UK 🎸🎩
Jack your awesome. Never let down.. I just follow you wherever you band next!!!

Großartig - Wir lieben Jack White und die Raconteurs - Endlich wieder Neues von ihm - Kommt bald nach Germany - z.B. nach Ludwigsburg in die Arena - Wir warten!
Their new album is dope. Been listening for hours.
Esperando desde Chile 🇨🇱!!!
Need more music like this.
The Raconteurs look like they're enjoying each other. I think they're making up for lost time. This album is an instant classic.
Don't complain about the lack of what we have, be happy we have it
This is the Raconteurs album that I needed in my life. This is beautiful. Thanks guys!! You could easily drop a tear from joy for this, atleast I did. Thanks again! The Milkman hat's owner is Forever ♡ and so is everyone around him ♡
I saw them live, God blessed me!
apparently they've finished taking all of their album cover photos for every album they'll ever release
I remember going to Nashville after Boarding House Reach was out and going to Third Man Records. We bought a lot of stuff, and purchased the Racontuers Consolers of the Lonely album. It was such a great album and I know this one will be great too.
Wow I had no idea there was a Third Man Records in Nashville
sally deangelis actually? 😂😂
I like when a video adds nothing to a song. This song stands on its own. 👍
Super excited!! This album is gonna be rad!!
We've heard it, and you're right.
Hi!

Wow, Jack Lawrence sounds a lot like Willie Nelson. Very nice mellow voice.
Excited as hell!! Fav band ever ⚡
So glad that you guys are back with a new album and tour! Every album is better than the last. I can not wait to see you guys in Knoxville, Tennessee. See you in August!

In one year?...have I been a good boy or something?
you forgot Cage the Elephant
It's bands like this that make me upset when people complain about there being no good rock music today. We have plenty bands doing fairly new rock music that's not just Led Zeppelin but with lower quality musicians.
and The Heavy.
Also King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, The Murlocs, Pond and Tame Impala for me along with what you mentioned
you forgot Black Pistol Fire!
I love you guys, so happy you're back!!!
Anything the man touches turns to solid gold. Thank you Jack !!!
Few things make me as happy as new music from these guys
Yes!!! I can't think of a better way to end the week!! Love this band. ☀🌇🌆🌌🍷
Fell and broke my ankle walking into see you at ACL yesterday. I made it thru that show, I would do that over and over again. Hoping to see you all again on your with this album.
First the Black Keys, then The Hives now The Raconteurs? This is absolutely phenomenal!!!
Great to see LJ playing a Moog Taurus, haven't seen one of those for years!
James Hanington best part of UA-cam comments are the instrument appreciation posts. Hail Moog!
An acoustic version just like the intro would be simply wonderful!

Beautiful song 🤍🤍🌹Hello from Scotland🏴
How are you doing today? I hope it's been a nice day today for you and family??
The Raconteurs still making good stuff after all :D
It's like breathing fresh air, so great! Love the new album!
This was great!! Even more pumped for the album!!!
This whole rockin' album brings it all back home. See y'all in Tulsa, oh yeah.
The Black Keys, Raconteurs, and Cage the Elephant all releasing Albums in the same year is a gift from God
First The Heavy, then The Black Keys, now The Raconteurs announce a new album, I feel spoilt.
Hell Yeah!! 2019 saw new rock album releases from The Raconteurs, The Black Keys, Secondhand Watermelon, and Wolfmother; and The Sheepdogs also released a single, which probably rocks the hardest out of them all. If everyone who viewed this video bought just one of those albums, that would be quite the revival indeed!!!!! We can hope
This is really what I’ve been waiting for!! I grew up on this band and I really liked the first few songs but this is the first one that I’ve properly loved!! Thank you so much for coming back!!
How have I not heard of these guys? Excellent jam!
Ok ok guys, let’s shoot the album cover now! Act natural! Great song, love to all of you!
Me encanta esta banda, saludos desde México 🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽
Yep....it's a freaking great day...what a way to start the day with a great new song that is like I expected... awesome. And coming to my area in concert...I am stoked about this....
That electric guitar tone is something else.
Absolutely amazing!!! Thank you Raconteurs!!!!
Some dawn good guitar sounds, words and cool singing.
Pure genius as always. Would expect nothing else.
With boarding house ...... jack realy suprised me with a damn great album , and then this great album by the raconteurs . A good musician goes trough different styles which jack white does , Together with beck and few other musicians .💜💜💜💜 .
That is what you call a marvelous comeback!!!!! See you boys in Berlin!!! ❤❤❤❤❤
The Raconteurs are always solid. Can’t wait for the album!!

God, the hell is that, early Christmas? New album from The Black keys, new album from Raconteurs...I'm speachless.
Great to see The Raconteurs back and with a great song. Hope they come to the U.K.
Jack must have a clause in his deal that has him looking tallest in every shot.... because he does here, even when sitting down.

Nice tune, btw
Well I mean...he's pretty tall.
Keep up the excellent work guys!
Love the podcast!
The Third Men Podcast Thank you for doing your podcast it’s clear how much effort you put into each episode, more people should know about you.
Now this does have that Raconteurs vibe!!! Hopefully the album is full with this style.
Being within the first 2000 to watch and sharing this most magnificently executed return singles I’ve had the pleasure of enjoying is both an honour and a pleasures thing to do. Welcome back, gents! Looking forward to adding the lp to my iTunes collection, ‘tell you that. Kudos on nailing it upon your return. What a great start. 10/10

I realised that the album is a BOMB when I tried to find my favorite song! Impossible to choose, I have like 10 favorite songs.
This album is incredible. Refreshing but so reminiscent.

I WAS WAITING FOR THIS VIDEO AND NOW I CAN NOT STOP LOOKING, YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL !! It's a morning of youtube, listening to the new "The strokes" and "La rueda o el barco" ... Raconteurs intoxicates me!
I don't know who went through the heartbreak when writing this album but I will continue to let it haunt me and hopefully get it off my mind
I've been waiting a decade! Gettin' older and The Raconteurs even better 🌈
PK simple teh best drummer around, no doubt
This year will gonna be lit with all this artist making new albums ❤
