My husband just bought a 2024 Mach E yesterday. We are in Northern Michigan as well. I've been driving a Tesla model S for 6 years and we love it!

Very nice overview, thank you! I did want to point out though that the Auto Hold isn't for One Pedal driving. By definition when you lift your foot off of the accelerator in One Pedal driving you have "the brake on", so the car isn't going to move until you press the accelerator. Auto Hold is for when you aren't using One Pedal driving, so the car will work like a regular automatic where if you lift your foot off of the brake pedal, it will start to move slowly, or in the case of a steep hill it might even roll backwards. Auto Hold tells it not to move when you lift your foot off of the brake, only when you press the accelerator. I just got a Mach-E 2024 on August 31th, and just got up the courage to checkout One Pedal driving. It is taking a bit to get used do, and I'm still not sure I really like it. 49 years of driving with at least two pedals is hard to retrain.

Ford key fobs do have hidden features for opening and closing windows and remote start

22:32 I don't have a Mach-E yet, but from the reviews and research I have done, the pony/puddle lights are not available on the select series, only premium and up.

I have a 2024 premium and no puddle lights

@chelseaclark8251 well then you don't have the premium trim. As every premium I have test drove all had it right on the window sicker as standard. You may have welcome lighting turned off, if in fact you have a premium. Go on your touchscreen and go to lightning and then welcome lighting and make sure it's turned on.

The infotaintment system seems a bit slow to respond, like you press a button but doesn't register immediately and milli second after you pressed the button

Thinking of buying a Mach E so this overview is extremely helpful. I’ve heard one reviewer say that the screen is “laggy.” Do you find it to be slow?

At 15:18 predictive option sets the speed to the speed limit signs. To me the most important feature not what he says...

How do you add apps other than UA-cam in the entertainment section?

    • @evuniverseCOM
      @evuniverseCOM  5 місяців тому +3

Long story short, you can't add any apps with the current Sync version. However, you have a fair amount of apps that are accessible through Carplay or Android Auto

What year is this Mach - E?? I’m trying to decide between a 2023 RWD Premium extended range and a 2022 RWD premium extended range or 2023 premium regular range and 2022 premium regular range

The infotainment is the same in all of these cars because of ota updates. Interior is the same too. The 24 screen changed slightly but not enough that you’d barely notice
If you need awd get the awd, if not needed rwd is fine. Extended vs regular range depends on how far you’re going to be driving daily. I needed the big battery and awd as I drive about 200+ miles a day and a few months in the winter.
The 2023 standard range has the lfp battery and likes to be charged to 100% daily, the extended range and the 22 standard range likes 80% daily and 100% for trips only.

This one is a 2023 Select - standard range AWD

@@jimhimesjr I’m not driving far most days but maybe once a month will take a 200 mile one way trip but there are 3 Tesla charge stations on the way. Looking at a 2021 Mach E as well. Was there much a change between 2021 -23. I feel like infotainment is not a big factor if OTA updates should narrow any differences. It’s mostly drivability and inside room that I’m curious about. RWD is all I need but want at least 250 range.

Ford's navigation system is not worth a CR_P. I needed to go to the next city for a doctors appointment. I live very close to a main 4 lane highway. As it goes to my destination. It changes to a 4 lane divided highway. Then I exit it onto a 4 lane divided expressway. Finally I exit onto a 4 lane main road through the city. Last turn I am less than a mile from mu destination. Every quick. My return was to city 10 miles below I origin. My friend who live there. He told me a route to his house. I missed the route number to his place. I punched in his address into Ford's navigation. It showed his address. Hit tapped "GO". A blue line showed up on a route. I followed it through all the secondary streets and all the stop lights. Where did I end up. I was at the junction where I exited off the 4 lane divided onto the 4 lane divided expressway.
From a simple express travel to a complicated city streets.

I got 2024 Premium, and for some reason, the sound equalizer doesn't remember the settings. Every time i start the car, it goes back into default. Do you have any ideas? Why is that ?
