I always drain only in this situation. This leaves some clutch material in the fluid. When it’s half way to 5/8 clean then I drain and ad Lucas then drive. Works for me most of the time. Blow out cooler too. Your right about reversing physical damage. I have proven this as a technician. Drove 1 truck 125,000 miles to 325k used it to plow and haul cars. Make sure when you ad Lucas do it hot. When added driving to mix wit transmission fluid
I have a 2011 toyota camry which gives a clunking sound on the first acceleration for the first 2 gears after a cold/warm startup. I'm confused about whether it's the CV axles or the transmission is failing. Can someone share their thoughts?
I’m experiencing the same and got transmission codes. Only got 141k on it. Currently in limp mode. Toyota doesn’t even have a transmission dip stick so I can check fluids.
