Who here is still using or plans to get the 2020 iPad Pro?
me
@@onedollasnakeI’m guessing you already have one? If so, how has it been for you?
@@SaranBytecoming up on 40 months or about 3 and half years minus the usb c port breaking then randomly coming back to life it’s had no issue which is pretty good
@@onedollasnake damn I’ve actually heard quite a few people say on Reddit that their iPad Pro’s USB C port failed on them, which is interesting 🤔 I’m glad yours worked again but I wonder how common this is.
Should I get it ?
I bought this IPad when it first launched in 2020 and its still going strong. Battery is still good, it lasts 1.5 days on moderate usage. It was pretty pricey when I first bought it but I pretty much got my moneys worth as I use it almost every day. I wouldn’t upgrade to the M2 one unless there was a specific reason to.
Agreed
I got the LTE version and only use it on Wi-Fi now but with the 11 in 256gb version has been a beast of a device. I got it in 2020 and the device has aged well. For me the 11inch has been the perfect size. The device has never felt slow. I watch videos, do light typing work with a Bluetooth keyboard, and play games. It’s my laptop substitute and has delivered for my needs. I don’t plan to upgrade anytime soon.
Recomiendas comprarlo en 2024 ?
@@arturoledezma7380 i do recommend it definitely. Especially now cheap if you buy used
@@arturoledezma7380hey I would if you don’t plan on GAMING on it. I use mine for work and watching movies so I don need to upgrade as what I do for my iPad is not heavy.
BRO YOU ARE UNDERRATED!!!!!!!!!!!
Bought a refurbished 2018 pro.Smooth and fluid 🤘
Same, I’m receiving it tomorrow 🎉
@@ThibautMahringerwhere you bought it?
can you please make gaming test on iPad pro 2020? I would like to see a CODM, Genshin Impact, Farlight 84 etc.
Bro, i have a old A10 chip ipad pro 12.9 inch , it still works perfect , for study notes, and other works.
I dont do video editing in ipad pro , i do it in my macbook pro .
Fair enough bro. I recently sold my 10.5” iPad Pro because it started becoming a little chuggy performance wise and the battery life wasn’t as great anymore. But in hindsight I could’ve probably replaced the battery and kept using it.
@@SaranByte Nice to know bro. Thanks for sharing all details 👍
@@RameshKumar-ng3nf np, thanks for watching!
Can i still use it until 4 years later?
Why would one use an ipad pro just for content consumption?
Some people likes pro versions
Probably the 12.9 inch version for the bigger screen
3:17 oh hey who is that guy
Didn’t even realise at the time but how ideal a video about the 2020 iPad Pro has you in it 😂
@@SaranByteThat took me by surprise
Is it cold there now ?
Very cold 😂
@@SaranByte welcome to my club 😂😂😂
I am still rocking my 2018 2nd gen 12inch Pro. I am on my second typecover since. Will replace next Year if rumours for OLED iPad are true.
Fair enough. I don’t think I could ever justifying getting an iPad Pro new for my usecase, which is literally just watching UA-cam and Netflix on it lol. If anything the only reason I’m looking forward to the OLED iPad Pro is that it will allow the Mini-LED iPad Pros to get cheaper lol
@@SaranByte Yes but OLEDs will be better for a content consuming as You ]Tube and Netflix! There is no better than OLED as to watch vids. Otherwise why would you need a mini-LED over what you already got? No real benefit. Mini-LED brought extra brightness and better Blacks than traditional LCDs especially useful features for a content watching but now with OLED coming these extras are no longer worth for that same reasons and for the rest Daily tasks LCD is still more than enough. This was the reason I am still holding on my 2nd gen iPad Pro although I am on my second Folio keyboard and Battery.
@@nedywest71text on oled can sometimes be fuzzy. Also oled doesnt get as bright as mini leds.
Watching this on the A12Z iPad Pro… 😂
Haha I figured
Is this iPad just as good as the iPad mini 6? 😅
I’ve got both! if your main use is portability go for the Mini 6! If you work at home a lot go for de Pro 12.9
I agree with you about the cameras on an iPad. They are unnecessary for probably 99% of people.
Yep no idea why they decided to give the M2 iPad Pro ProRes, such a useless upgrade
@@SaranByte Yes I use my M1 iPad Pro 12.9 inch mainly for content viewing, and the larger size and Mini LED screen is perfect for that. I have only a few apps installed but hundreds of hours of video content. So even if without WiFi I can keep myself entertained.
@@davidlazarus67 fair enough. I think I might get an M1 refurbished to try out and see how it compares to this 2020 model. I have warmed up to the 12.9” size a lot, but I definitely don’t need the horsepower the M1 has so if I can live without Mini-LED, I will likely keep using the 2020 12.9”.
@@SaranByte The only thing that will make me upgrade is a better OLED screen. The M1 means it’s always fast.
@@davidlazarus67fair
No, it’s not worth it as it can’t even play any of the new AAA title games that are coming as those are the M1 up and the M1 chip already came out four years ago
I agree but I still don’t plan to upgrade as I don’t game on my iPad Pro and would rather play on my Xbox.
not everyone games
The new AAA games are better played elsewhere. Even for Apple users, playing on a MacBook Pro is necessary to get 60fps
I would be happy, if I can get the iPad Pro for around $ 400. Apple refurbished.
Yep defo a good deal
@@SaranByte hopefully I get both iPhone, and iPad via Apple refurbish around $400…
You can get the base model for 469, not that close to 400, but this is the closest you get, storage upgrades I think is an extra 90.
Haha an iPhone and iPad for 400 dollars? What are planet are you living on. 😅
I don’t watch indians not a racist thing just don’t like them on youtube but u bruv are mad underrated
