- Talking about the ipad pro 11 inch with the M2 chip, i've owned and used this extensively for a year and these are some of my overall thoughts. Is this something that's worth having going into 2023?

@Jpndiazz I was the exact same, I now use it for 90% of all my general usage. All my emails, MS Office all done from ipad, all my note taking /ideas. And most recently experimenting with games too

Bought the 12.9inch iPad Pro this December just cause idk? the trailer was good? Anyway did not think I would use it much but it’s literally the best device ever! I practically don’t even use my phone anymore. Totally recommended. Blind buy this thing omg!! Absolutely love it

Appreciate the feedback John! You'll love it. Honestly, even if it's just to watch things on youtube/netflix, etc to me i would consider it to be worth it for the bigger viewing experince. BUT i did JUST read that a new ipad might be coming out early this upcoming year... 👀 I heard they will have even better panels but we'll see.

My wife hates it when I IPad. We’ve been together now for almost 10 years and I didn’t charm her being a techy, that’s for sure. So now that I’m calming down and finding joy in tech and things like dnd, she absolutely hates it that I became an iPad kid….. funny thing it we walked into the apple store to fool around and she kept checking out the smaller iPads.. I think I know what she’ll ask Santa for Christmas.
She wants one so bad it’s crazy, new one is coming out soon just give her your old one and upgrade yours. 😎

Awesome review video! After having it for some time, do you ever feel like you would want upgrade to the 13” iPad Pro at some point?
I’m leaning towards purchasing the 11” M4 Pro and would have fairly similar uses to yours in this video. Only thing is I’m a bit worried about “missing out” on the extra screen real estate of the 13” after having the 11” for some time. 🤔

Good question, also a hard one lol I just got an oled TV and it's changed the way i consume media. it's almost hard to go back to anything that isn't OLED. So to answer your question, yes when the time comes, i will probably be selling my old one to buy an oled one JUST for that screen alone.

hey! great video, quick question though. the new ipad air and pro just came out and i am not sure whether to get the new ipad air (which isnt as good price to performance) or the ipad pro m2 refurbished (or hopefully new it just depends lol) which is pretty much the same as the new air, but the pro has more features. what would u recommend? apple also tends to eventually slow down older devices, is what i am worried about. (sorry i worded this question kind of weirdly, ill try make it simpler quickly to summarise my question: Should i go for an ipad that is slightly more expensive, better price to performance (by a mile) and just better overall, or should i go for the slightly cheaper ipad air 6, which is brand new but has a worse price to performance, but is lacking some pro features, with the positive side being that the new ipad will keep up with software updates for a while. sorry for the long question lol, have a great day / night! i look forward to seeing some more of ur videos randomly pop up in my recommended.
Honestly if you're looking to save money, i would go with the last gen ipad pro, they prob will start being sold cheaper second hand and still will be powerful but if you want new and you don't already have an ipad, i would go with the 11 inch pro.

I’m in the same boat. I will def not get the latest iPad lineup either air or pro. I’d rather get the older models for cheaper. I found the same model with same specs in the review for $630 new.

Does the battery drain easily? I've seen some reviews mentioning faster battery drain after the 16.2 update.
Yes it drains REALLY fast. like it'll last you the day but most likely you'll have to plug it in. Even while its on standby it's dying pretty fast.
What are you using screen protector?
i just bought a random screen protector on amazon! i got the glossy version and not the one that's meant to feel like paper when you use your apple pencil.

can you say how long you can use it on battery? Apple says 10 hours but thats on 50% brightness and optimal use....real live battery life?
Good question, I didn’t really mention it. Honestly I use it all day and usually have to plug in towards the end of the day. I would say it gives me a solid 5-6 hours on full brightness. At least it feels like that but it’s not a deal breaker for me as I’ll plug in for a bit and charge super quick.
Bro just want to know how much % battery falls when on standby mode, wifi and bluetooth toggle are on bt not connected ... it would be a great help if you reply thank you.
i haven't tracked but i will say battery life is bad lol

Did you consider getting the 12.9 instead?
Yes I did, to be completely honest. I couldn’t afford it so I opted out. But the size I got now feels perfect. Depending on what the next iteration looks like, I might consider the larger display mostly for editing on it.
