honestly I think the cosmetic vlogs show how crazy it Truley is because while I agree it normalizes is more than it should it also is educational as someone who has a condition that causes weight loss and has always had abit of an insecurity the bbl did seem appealing until I watched a vlog of the process and realized isn't no way in hell I'm going through all that pain and not to mention the high death rate for a fatter badonk

Correction: Tanning is only skin damage to Europeans and not for Brown and African descent people, when we (Africans/Brown people) tan, we are activating more melanin which in turn protects us from the sun more. But we still need sun cream because even our ancestors in the continent had clay/mud as a sun screen. Waist trainers work ONLY when you've just given birth, it helps push the uterus back down to its original position. I should know because I used waist trainers twice after my babies were born.

tanning causes skin damage to everyone it’s just less likely in highly melanated ppl

The sun damages DNA every second your skin is exposed to the UV rays. The maximum that melanin can protect anyone is SPF 13, which is far lower than recommended. If your DNA fixers can't keep up with the amount of damage, it becomes cancer. Please protect yourself and your loved ones. ❤

If tanning is not damaging for Black/Brown people, why would you still need sunscreen? Not trying to question per se, just curious.

It is damaging still! As a medical professional who has worked with dermatology consultants, black people are also still at risk of skin cancer and also issues related to sun damage such as aging etc. Yes Caucasians have a higher risk however we still have a pretty high chance of skin damage! I'm black and use to think I'm ok in my younger years and then now I have signs of sun damage and I'm medium/ dark brown. Please seek medical advice that's not from people on the internet!

@@carrismorton3748 Thank you for clarifying this! I'm not Black/Brown myself, and I've read that sun hates us all (it just hates people with darker skin tones somewhat less than others lol), but I didn't want to immediately question the experience of someone who's Black herself. Good to know in any case!

    Isn't all Botox preventative?

Technically more or less. But it's called preventative when you do it before you actually get visible wrinkles. It's not preventative when you're smoothing the existing wrinkles.
