@@Sensei948 I usually start with my low jet at about 1 1/4 turns out. Then tune it from there and meet it with the idle. Then tune high jet. These settings can vary from saw to saw and different elevations. 🌲❤️🌲👊🪓

I usually cut hardwoods here in the UK, but for last three weeks have been thinning 40 foot Xmas trees that got out of control. Your limbing is a good example of the skill for me.

This is great! My biggest mistake is not taking a moment to think about the forces on a log BEFORE I cut. I have plenty of time to think about it afterwards while grabbing another saw to get the first one unstuck!🤣

I was just telling my mom about this yesterday in that when I was helping the bc Wildfire services and the local fire crews out doing burnt tree falling. But filming, it didn't even dawn on me than. Otherwise, if it would've, I would 100% film,ed it and showed people how it was done simply because all I get nowadays is sure sure u did stop hyping yourself up.

Thank you for watching and for yoir support Indigator. I prefer to cut this way to avoid it tearing the underside of the tree and possibly hanging up and having to make the undercut of the slab. Cutting straight down can be much less effort for sure. 🌲❤🌲👊🪓

Hello Aaron welcome and thank you for your support. You are correct about the kickback area of the bar and chain. But when I used that part of the bar it did not kick back. Learning to use the tip and the saw is recommended. 🌲❤️🌲👊🪓
If you go back and rewatch those cuts when he rolls to the top you can see the tip jumping a bit. That is kickback. It is indeed very dangerous but keeping a firm grip on the saw and always stand slightly to the left so in the event she comes flying up you don't get a face full of chain. Also your chain NEEDS to be sharp. Very sharp, A dull chain will kickback much easier. Take care.

So we can learn to see what and when is compressed and what is tension? I noticed that I find that rather difficult in real life. Compression 1st, tension 2nd - great advice! Do a YT short of this & you’ll reach 10x maybe 100x the views.
