I am awesome!! 😂
I bought this pattern from Poorhouse a few years ago but I had lost track of it in my stash. Can you believe that I came across it, the day before this video aired? I did!! Now I have one of my favorite Channels demonstrating
How to properly assemble it!!
This has made me day!! Many thanks and much love to you all! 😃
Yay! We are very glad that you found this video tutorial helpful. Thanks for watching!! 💖 -Michelle
Really well done. I can see why so many people struggled with the written instructions. Bravo on the camera angles and editing too.
Thank you for your feedback! We are glad you enjoy this tutorial. Thank you for watching! ✨✨ -Michelle
I will definitely be making this, but when I connect the wedges.......I am going to use a metallic gold thread and attach a small gold bead on each one!

This would make a great house warming gift for my son and daughter in law and grand daughter for their new home. They should be in it before Thanksgiving.
Yes!! We love how quickly these wreaths work up. Thank you for watching! ✨🎄 -Michelle
Thank you so much for this tutorial. I bought her booklet which is a little hard to understand. You made the process so much easier and enjoyable. Instead of following her directions. Thank you again, you are a perfect instructor, I really enjoyed your video and can't wait to start making these wreaths.
We’re very glad you enjoyed this tutorial. thanks so much for your comment! -Michelle
So beautiful and will last for many years. Thanks
Beautiful, this will last for many years. Thanks.
Glad you enjoyed this festive project. Thanks for watching! -Michelle
Thank you so much, Jennifer! I purchased this pattern last spring and the directions were a bit confusing. I'm so glad you clarified it for me - just in time for Christmas!
We are sew happy you enjoyed this tutorial! Thank you for watching! 🎄 ✨-Michelle
We sewists like to see! Ty and thank you to Christine for the use of her pattern 💕
Red Swarvorski iron on crystals would be so pretty on this!
YESSS!!!! That's a wonderful idea!!! ✨🎄 -Michelle
This is a classic pattern! It never goes out of style. Thankyou for demonstrating how to make it.
You are very welcome!! Thanks for watching. ✨ 🎄✨ -Michelle
I always make something for my brothers and their wives for Christmas. They have pillowcases, bowl cozies, folded mug rugs.....and on it goes. I really was at a loss for what to do this year. This is it. Thanks for your excellent tutorial and great tips on finishing either by hand or machine.
This would definitely be a great gift! We love how versatile and unique this project can be. We're glad you enjoyed this tutorial. ✨🎄 -Michelle
So funny that I checked my "to do" list and on it was - fabric selection to start my Christmas Wreaths. I made several over the past year including some Easter themed ones and gave them as gifts with a decorative jar or foil wrapped Easter eggs to be placed in the centre.
I never had a pattern but was helped by the owner of a local quilt shop who had made one
years before. I have since purchased the pattern (which I was not able to get in Canada originally in time) as well as the B forms which I will finally try. Excellent tutorial and great tip on joining the squares beginning at the fold vs. the end. Thank you.
We are very glad you found this tutorial helpful!! We love the versatility of this project and the many different collections we can create it in!! ✨🎄✨-Michelle
Thank you so much for showing us how to make this. I purchased this pattern and all the materials several years ago, but couldn’t figure it out. You make it look easy and achievable. Also, thank you for the tips about fabric placement. Beautiful wreath!
We are glad that you found this tutorial very helpful! We'd love to see your finished project photos. Thanks for watching! -Michelle
I made this wreath last year for Christmas and was so pleased with the final outcome and gave some for gifts. Decided to try again and am so thankful your video is still available because just reading the pattern seemed so confusing. Your instructions and detailed tips made it possible for me to make another one without a problem at all. Thank you so very much for your help to create something so beautiful because you make it sooooo easy!
Thanks so much for your wonderful feedback! We’re so glad you found this tutorial helpful :) -Michelle
Out of curiosity, how did the wreath store? I feel like it would get smushed beyond fixing. That is what has stopped me from trying it out.
I have stored my wreaths in a cabinet where nothing is on top of it. I did mail one to a family member in a padded envelope from the post office and was told it was still perfect when it arrived. I haven't seen it since they received it so I can't say if it was ok or really not. @@helenklimeck-jones4024
Thanks for the video to show how to make them. I bought the kits few years ago. I didn't understand it until now. Now I understood. Thanks again

Yes!! This is a fun project to create!! 🎄 ❄️ -Michelle
Great video. I have made these and the best way to close those tips is by hand. Really less stressful then fighting with the machine.

Such a fun project. I love how you say button “buuht-ten” 🥰

Thank you Jen for doing this, I too have purchased the pattern several years ago , when holy moly there was even a FB page (maybe still is) showing hundreds of them. I'm a visual learner and simply never caught on from other snippets of the process. I know I can do this now after watching the way it's put together. Thanks again.
We are very glad that you found this wreath tutorial helpful. Thank you for watching. ✨ 🎄✨ -Michelle
Excellent tutorial with great tips based on trial and error. Thanks Jen!

Thank you for this tutorial. I just made my first one and found your tutorial very helpful!
Yay!! We're glad you enjoy this fun wreath!! -Michelle
I don't think I have time to make them this year but if I don't already have her patten- I'm getting it! And that will be the "family gift" for each couple next year. If I didn't have 4 quilts to finish up b4 Christmas I could get them done.
Wow, it sure sounds like you have quite the load to keep you busy! We look forward to seeing your finished project photos when you're done. This is a festive and versatile pattern! We are glad you like it. 😊🤗 😍-Michelle
Just finished one. It's very cool.
How fun!! We're happy to hear you enjoy it ❄️ -Michelle
I’m so happy for this!!! I have kits from years ago and the pattern, but I’ve been so confused of the process. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Beautiful!
Thank you! We're glad you enjoy this project! ✨🎄 -Michelle
Excited to see how this was done. Have had pattern for a few years but had problems finding the facings.
We are glad you found this tutorial useful. We did have the Bosal In-R-Form Single Sided 6" Squares available, but we're currently out of stock. You may be able to use a different stabilizer and cut it to size. 🎄🎄-Michelle
Great tutorial. I've made a few of these & used my zigzag stitch to attach the folds. I widened my stitch as far as it would go & sewed off the edge onto water soluble stabilizer. That way when I opened up the folds there was just enough thread to pull them apart so the just "kissed". Practice first. 🙂
What a wonderful tip! Thank you very much for sharing it with us! ♥️ -Michelle
I was on the fence about this project, but once again Jen has made a fabulous tutorial that makes this project look less daunting! Thank you!
We are very glad you found this tutorial helpful! Thank you for watching. 🎄 ✨-Michelle

I just ordered a Maxwell bag and pattern, is there going to be a tutorial on it
I have some tiny jingle bells to add. 🎄
Yay!!! That would be sew fun!! ✨🎄 -Michelle
Wow, really beautiful wreath. I was watching another video before I found yours that added a really small button to hand sew the two top pieces together. No peak or overlap that way. Great video and I am excited to make a wreath while following this video.
We're happy you enjoyed this fun tutorial. Thanks so much for watching! -Michelle

I’m going to make this with Halloween fabrics and Patriotic for July 4th!!
Yes!! -Michelle
Your tutorial is great, the applique part is still somewhat of a mystery to me, wish it was better clarified in the pattern. I will somehow figure it out. Thank you for all your help with the rest of it.
I've had this pattern for a while and was afraid to dig in. Thank you Christine for letting Jennifer do this tutorial. It makes so much more sense now.
Yay! We are very glad you enjoyed this tutorial! 🎄 ✨-Michelle

We are glad you enjoy this festive project! Thanks for watching!! 🎄 ✨-Michelle
I would add bells during the hand sewing corners
That's a wonderful suggestion! We're happy you enjoy this fun wreath! 💖 -Michelle
This is gorgeous, and I would definitely be doing it if I still hadn't lost my "sew-jo" during covid - I just can't seem to find it - it's really lost. I keep trying though - least I get my necessary mending done.
We are glad this project inspires you and we do hope you find your sew-jo soon!! Thank you for watching.✨🎄✨-Michelle
Hi Jen, loved your video so much but was a little apprehensive about trying this beautiful project--but I had to try. It turned out "ok" but totally my fault. Just remember when you read about my wreath that I am totally new at this crafting process. I forgot to remove the paper backing from the applique fabric before I sewed it on with a zig-zag stitch. OhMyGoodness! But I'm trying one more time to see if I can follow directions--all of them.
We're glad you are trying new things! We believe in you- and don't forget that we have a wide variety of tutorials to help you with your projects and ideas! Thank you for watching. 💖 -Michelle
Great tutorial, Jen. Thankyou 🌸

have you by chance will have a tutorial for a lovely cutlery holder . Always love the choice of your fabrics for any projects .
That is a great idea! We will pass this suggestion along to our design team. Thank you for watching! -Michelle
Thank you so much for this tutorial. I actually bought this pattern at a quilt show in Chattanooga, TN years ago. Now I think I have the tips to do it well. I am ready to try it!!! Love your tutorials.
Yay! We're glad you found this tutorial very helpful! Thank you for watching. -Michelle
I just bought a light box too
Thank you for enhancing the pattern with this video. I have one question, and it's something I suspect I should have learned years ago: how did you do the thread thing so there wasn't a knot? I watched that section several times and didn't quite get how it's done. Is there another video where you show how to do this? Many thanks!
Hi Margaret - in timestamp 27:27 of the video, you should be able to see the loop Jen is referring to. She looped her thread before putting it on the needle. When she puts her needle through the fabric, she leaves the loop sticking out on the other side, then reaches the needle backward to catch the loop. Hope this helps! If you'd like a better visual, please send us a direct message via Facebook or Instagram and I'll be happy to help you :) -Michelle

Oh my goodness! I'm so excited about getting that kit and doing some of these for my girls to decorate with for Christmas! These are a great idea for all decor, not just for Christmas. I love them! Thank you for this video Mrs Jennifer!

Hi Jen I am new to this and found this pattern very beautiful. I just look at the design and the tutorial and I can do it without pattern. I really enjoyed making many wreaths to give it away as gifts for this Xmas! thank you

I would do it by hand

Gracias. Nos alegra que disfrutes de este divertido proyecto. 💖 -Michelle
Maravilhoso 😍😍😍
Muito obrigado ✨🎄 -Michelle
Add a little kbob stick in the middle of your points when you zig zag so there is some slack and you won’t get the bulk when stitching on machine
Thank you for this wonderful tip! Thanks for watching! ✨🎄✨-Michelle
This is beautiful!!!! I wish that you would use different fabric than the one on the wall, to get a variety of different fabrics that you sell.
Thank you for the feedback. We are happy you enjoy this project! ✨🎄✨ -Michelle
Оригинальный венок. Очень нарядный и праздничный.
Мы очень рады, что вам понравился этот проект. Спасибо за просмотр. -Michelle
I bought the kit and the pattern you girls are right the pattern is very hard to understand . So thank you for this tutorial ! i plan to make a few for Christmas gifts , FYI I messed up two of my background squares when i turned it over to press the in r form to my fabric i'm guessing the fabric slipped not sure what happened but I have no extra room for sewing they are ruined So please be careful and double check yourself ! or in my case tripple check , have a fantastic Holiday Everyone .
Thank you for that suggestion, and we are delighted that you enjoy this fun project 🎄🌟 🎄-Michelle
I watch all your videos Jen! You definitely clarify all the questions I would have. Is there any chance that you would video the Winifred Witches Hats placemats?
Hi Laverne - We're happy you enjoy these great tutorials! Regarding the Winifred's Party pattern, we can only do tutorials on patterns when we have permission from the designer. Hope that makes sense :) -Michelle

A cute button would work to join the points too!
Yes!! 😍 ❄⛄-Michelle

I'd love to create a Tree Skirt from this beauty. Have you given this any thought? Thank you for your amazing videos. I think you're wonderful🤗
That sounds fun! We haven't attempted that, but if you do, please let us know how it turns out! -Michelle
This is a really nice design. I wish I could hang it on my door instead of greens that leave endless amounts of needles every time I open the front door.
You can!! The pattern includes an optional sleeve on the back for a hanger. ✨ 🎄✨ -Michelle
@@ShabbyFabrics Fantastic news! Now I want this.
You could drop the feed dogs to keep the fabric from traveling. Also, although I have not made this project yet so I don't know how "wide" that gap is between the points you're trying to sew together, could it fit over the free arm like a sleeve, which would allow the two points to lay flat and that zig-zag tack could be placed exactly where it needs to be and lay flat and smooth? Just a couple of thoughts as I watched you making this. Thank you for the video!
Thank you very much for these helpful suggestions! We're glad you enjoyed this tutorial. ♥️ -Michelle
Lol, I made that last comment about adding a gold bead, and then you said it!
We are glad you enjoy this project!! Thank you for watching! ✨🎄 -Michelle
Hello thankyou for the link you gave me for the kit but I'd like to do a different colours than what they have. I have got the pattern book but I cant seem to see how big the starting squares need to be please? I know I need to use the one on the book but that for after you have turned the around. Are you able to point me in the direction on how big they need to be please :) thankyou x
Hi Charlie - The cutting instructions for the fabrics can be found on Page 1 in the instruction book. Hope this helps! -Michelle
Très joli
Merci beaucoup. Nous sommes ravis que ce projet vous plaise. 💖 -Michelle
I want to make a folded star tree skirt for a pencil tree. To make up the width, which has to be 30 inches in diameter. I need to know how to accomplish this feat.
That sure sounds like a fun idea! We'd love to know how it works out for you. -Michelle
I have the pattern from years ago I bought, maybe your video will get moving to make one. Do you have any recomendations for storing the Wreath after the holiday? Thank You! Love your videos.
We're glad our tutorial has inspired you with this adorable wreath! You can store this wreath safely in a tote- just be sure to not stack items on top. Thanks for watching! 💖 -Michelle
Perfeito.Poderia ter legenda em Português.
Estamos felizes por você ter gostado deste projeto. Daremos sua sugestão para nossa equipe. -Michelle
Ty sooo much! Can you do a tutorial showing how you set up your needle and thread so you don't have a beginning knot? I understand that you looped the thread, but how are the raw ends of the thread situated when you are starting out?
Hi WeQuilt! The raw ends of the thread were untied when we connected the corners together. Utilizing the loop stabilizes the end, but without the knot. You can choose to tuck the ends in under your stitches. Hope that makes sense! -Michelle
Feed the threaded needle into the square and out at the tip, pull just till the end disappears. Sew as usual, and reverse the process, insert the needle at the tip and come out about and inch away, tug gently and snip the thread carefully. This will hide the thread ends in the square.
Can you tell me how wide the opening in the middle is. Thank you for your help.
Hi Cynthia! The middle measures approximately 5 inches across, but that also depends on if you're measuring point to point, or invert to invert and it all can depend on how closely you stitch your squares together. Hope that helps! 💖 -Michelle
I am really interested in making these as they are gorgeous. My question is...
How well would these store ( space wise?) Would they bounce back to shape if flattened down for the season.
Cheers from Australia
We are happy you enjoy these delightful wreaths. The Bosal In-R Form we use in these helps the wreath maintain their shape. Some people store these in wreath containers as to not flatten them. We have not performed flattening tests on these wreaths, but you may find more successful answers in our Shabby Fabrics Facebook group: facebook.com/groups/shabbyfabricsquiltersgroup/ -Michelle
Did you try a sewing on a button technique to join the tips. That might be easier. Have to try it. Just an idea
We haven't done that method yet, but it's a great suggestion! 😍 ❄⛄-Michelle
