I was a big Prince fan so I bought this album, but this album was not serviced to us. I had a special weekend love song show and I would slip this song in every once in a while. I would get calls for it and that made me happy.

My goodness! My heart was racing when I saw this. I was rediscovering the Love Symbol album this afternoon, what a great album that is. I forgot how much I loved it and this song. I don't recall ever seeing the video. Love the reggae vibe he gave this romantic and sexy song. My heart is still broken...Love Prince!
Isn't it great, not just good. Like he was trying to hold out but be a bit experimental without the shakles of his name attatched to it. It's eclectic with the wide range of musical genres attatched. Even with Blue Light over here we call it Lovers Rock which is an offshoot genre of Reggae. Would've loved to have heard a little more bass guitar to really drive it but its sultry as it is. Enjoy his beautiful gifts he left us. We're so lucky 💜

When I first heard the song when the Love Symbol album first came out, I instantly loved it because it sounded so different than many of his other songs. That was the genius of Prince though, he was brilliant at trying different sounds with all of his music and didn't care about popularity. This song has always been one of my absolute faves from him. So cool to see the video, never knew he made one for this, thanks for sharing!!.

I believe he really did love her.they looked good together. We know prince was naughty. I think my take was also a bit kinky too. I think the death of their son had an affect on their marriage. I don't think prince knew how to accept it and. They both were hurt. This destroyed their marriage. Some things you can't get over and don't know why so you pretend it never happened. That's what happened to prince.he could not accept his child,death and was painful. And there was a communication gap.he probably had a lot of guilt and didn't know. How to handle it,. Sad. Such a sweet song, from a time when they were in love and happy, with no idea what was to come. All the songs he wrote about and for Mayte are so sad now that we know what happened to them. But they did have a period when they were happy. It just didn't last.
