I worked on the Muppet Show, and after an appearance he took the time to hand write the muppet workshop crew a letter expressing what a magical and wonderful day he's had with us and sent us each a necklace with his symbol as he was fighting his lawsuit over his name at the time. He only sent the muppet workshop people those necklaces. Not the director, producers, etc. We were rarely thought of by the movie / music guest stars - So his appreciation really stood out. We lost a real Prince when he passed away. 🤗 This didn't happen to me I just found this about Prince and thought it was so beautiful I wanted to repost for others to enjoy.
To see PRINCE on Muppet Show finally put a smile on my face after a very long time getting tears in my eyes listening or seeing him on Video Clips. Miss him so much. Why he had to die so young? For me he was and always will be the greatest musician ever! R. I. P. Hope 2 c u in heaven one day...
As grumpy as I've seen Prince in other shows/interviews, it's amazing to see him give 100% to a kids show (and through that, adults). I really miss him. 💕
At the time he was probably at his happiest. His music was his own (legally) and his lady was pregnant with his child. I felt so bad when they lost the baby. Soul crushing I'm sure...
He and Michael Jackson are one of the true artists of all time I missed them so much especially Michael Jackson which he is the true king of music and the King Of Pop Rest in Peace Both Prince and MJ

The biggest difference was that Prince had world class musical skills and to my knowledge Michael didn't have any. To me, Michael used his superior dance skills and had the more powerful vocals that combining them with his good looks made him a King. However, Prince wasn't chopped liver and could get down and sing it, only not as good as Michael but not far behind. I have a hard time with comparing MJ and Prince because of the huge gap in Prince's ability to write, compose, play, sing and produce his on music.
I use to run home from school, just to watch the Muppets...that was my show, growing up. Prince was such a lovely spiritual soul. I loved his laughter.
