I would have preferred not to include the jet ski incident...but at the same time I felt it offers an opportunity to let others know how to handle wildlife harassment. Cheers! -K
Great job on calling the game warden .My girlfriend and I witnessed a similar incident down here in Georgia with a jetski and a Canadian Goose family .The gander handled the issue himself .The mama and babies headed to the bank ,daddy flew off calling and came back with some friends .They chased the guy on the jetski into the stumps which he hit throwing him off and damaging the jetski in the process .The guy was still there when the game warden got there and my gf had filmed the entire thing .He was charged for harassing wildlife and the jetski impounded .The game wardens down here love seizing your property and will do it in a heartbeat .This was no accidental chasing of the birds which can happen .This guy was doing his best to run them all down .I have no sympathy for jerks like this .The guy learned some really hard lessons that day like Canadian Geese are not to be messed with ,the public generally disapproves of this and Georgia game wardens don't play nor does Alabama .These two states have a reciprocal agreement on this reservoir/lake and we have seen people charged by both states for wildlife offenses like spotlighting deer or firing guns near residential areas on the lake .One guy who did this had his boat ,trailer ,truck and guns seized .Since he did it on both sides of the lake Alabama got him when Georgia released him .One of the shots went into a house and nearly hit someone inside on the Alabama side .If on the nearby Lake Eufaula National Wildlife Refuge the feds get involved also .All the geese involved with the jetski were okay but the guy wasn't geese can be quite vicious over their babies .I guess this guy forgot geese can fly and love dive bombing idiots on jetskis .I have seen ospreys ,hawks and eagles do the same at the refuge if you get too close to their nests on foot or in a boat .The worst in the lot is our notorious Northern Mockingbirds down here .Nothing or no one is safe from them .
Your footage is so GOOD! The playful footage at 1:17, the anti-predator behavior at 2:09, and all the other lake resident footage. I love following series like this, so looking forward to any future Loon videos!

Thanks Sarah. Yeah...this year has been slow productions for KN with the back surgery. Plenty of KN for the future though!
