I appreciated the warning at the beginning and chose to listen to the video like a podcast. I'm sorry if there were great visuals in here, but the information was fascinating and well worth the attention. I am so confused how salamander genome size is inverse to their regeneration. That seems so backwards. I hope we find out the answer someday, because it will probably teach us something interesting about ALL living things. Thanks for assembling this information and the (I'm assuming) great video!
Interesting! Particularly the contradiction that an enormous genome is needed for regeneration, but that beyond a certain point, the larger the genome, the lower the regeneration. Perhaps the cells become too fragile to hold up.
Amazing animations
Thanks! I'm getting bit better with those animations as time goes by.

Yeah, I figured some people wouldn't want to watch that. Thanks for listening!
Great video. Salamanders are incredible. Great job highlighting the genetic side of things and awesome animations.
Appreciate that Gabe. Salamanders are pretty baller.

Yeah, I do believe you're right. Big cells still have to work with all the smaller 'building blocks' so it muddled things up.
this was a great video man, very informative!..its really amazing just how much they can regenerate...thanks for posting this one
Thanks man. Yeah, their regeneration is incredible.
Salamanders are truly AMAZING! Excellent job with the explanation, as those deep topics can be difficult to explain.
Thanks Ty! And thanks for letting me plug some of your photos again.
