Good info well explained. 😊The only thing I would add is to watch the shadow direction. All shadows in the scene are directed forward and to screen left. The shading on the character has the light coming in from scrren left. Her shadow is going in the opposite direction. Doesn't match. And, add a little bit of blur since the scene lighting is more diffuse.
I appreciate your attention to detail regarding the shadow direction and the coherence of the lighting in the scene. The tutorial was focused on demonstrating the technique to add a cast shadow, rather than ensuring perfect shadow accuracy. Those who apply this technique should indeed take the time to adjust the shadow direction and blur intensity to fit the specific lighting conditions of their projects for a seamless integration. Thank you for pointing that out, and I hope the tutorial was still helpful for understanding the process of adding shadows.
Glad to hear that Color Fill is giving more control, I'll try that as well. It is very important to try every possibility, that way we'll be able to find what is working best. 😉

Beautiful
Thank you! Cheers!
Instead of Color Correction I used Color Fill, which gives you much more control.
