Dr. Choi, you probably give the most objective information regarding implants. My wife got a very serious infection after a “sinus lift” and it was done by an awesome oral surgeon. She has 4 others doe by the same oral surgeon and they the are perfect. That’s the way it goes. Those are the risks and this awesome surgeon lays out the risks very carefully. Your videos are very sincerely and objectively done. As a physician myself, I appreciate and applaud the objectivity of your videos. The other videos done by other professionals, seem to be advertisements. We are now faced with doing an implant of a front upper incisors. Holy smokes. If I hear anything about a zygomatic implant, I’ll flip. Thank you so much for you scientifically and outcomed based videos. In my professional implant, you are very well read and experienced. Thanks
Your videos are very, very helpful. I know I'm not the only person who feels uncomfortable asking doctors questions before a procedure because they are often dismissive of your concerns. With your guidance on questions, you can feel more confident about finding the right doctor for dental implants. Thank you so much for posting your videos! I really appreciate it.
You have done a wonderful public service by making these videos--truly a work of love by an ethical and kind man. I have met Dr. Choi and he is wonderful i person too!
I could not agree more with these comments, your content has helped me feel much more confident speaking to my chosen oral surgeon. I’m insisting on non-dissolvable stitches for my anterior bones graft in three weeks 😂 I’m going to say just like Dr Choi did, GRAVITY! I’ve already mentioned it twice, day of will be my last shot!
Dr Choi, I want to thank you for your and your colleagues education in this area. I have watched parts 1-5 and a couple of others and I am now more prepared to have an intelligent conversation with the dental professional that I choose. Thank you
This is so informative. Thank you so much doc! I'm in the process of having implants. I just finished my 3rd bone graft. My surgeon had to perform 3rd bone graft as my bone still needs 0.2mm more before she can perform a flaplesss implant. It is a bit frustrating on my part a patient as it prolongs the process of implant. It's been a year since I had my first bone graft and here I am now had another graft amd need to wait 8 more months to heal. This videos helped me a lot to understand my current situation. Hoping for the best and hopefully I can get the implant after healing 🙏
Thanks for creating these vids incl pricing, what is truly VIP re bone & differences in bone sides ( buccel is precious & gums follow bone = gum recession). I question all Drs due to past horrid experiences & my close friends nightmare medical experiences after paying fortunes.
THANK YOU SO MUCH for all the info! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 I watched part 1 - 5 & the info & advice you provide is very thorough & invaluable. Once again, a million thanks! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 Love all the way from Australia 🇦🇺
Dr. Choi, should a patient have a bone densiry scan before deciding on implants vs. rregular dentions? Also, what are the differences between young people and seniors having implants done? Seniors generally have less bone density than young people. Thank you in advance for your response.
Thanks for taking the time to explain to the public. Serious question- how is it possible to clean under an All on 4- food must inevitably get trapped between the implant and the mouth...?
Hello Dr Choi I greatly appreciate your videos. I learn so much about dental implants. I presently have one upper and one lower dental implant. However, for the future, I am researching and planning for upper and lower all on 4 or 6 as my teeth are showing issues. I have 2 lower bottom teeth that the dentist say is resorption. I am not a candidate for root canal nor single implant for those 2 teeth. I am 72 years old and I think the better alternative is for all on 4/6 for upper and lower. I feel that a bridge for the bottom is not what would be the best and would be a nuisance. Thank you so much for your informative videos.
All on 4 is a great treatment option for those whose natural teeth seem to fail no matter what. We get quite a bit of out-of-state patients for all-on-4 at North Texas Dental Surgery nowadays. For in-person or virtual consultations, please refer to the “About” section.
Do you ever add more bone with another prf at the time of the implant? I had it done during the extraction 6 months ago but it was done again during the implant. Now awaiting for abutment. Thank you, appreciate your videos.
Dr. Choi. I need help so bad. I am a former drug addict. My whole mouth is horrible 😫. I am crazy gluing my teeth on daily. I really need help. Most My teeth are broken at the gums. I need to work I have got my life together over the past 10 years. However my teeth had to take a back seat. Please help me. I can not lose my job. Thank you for all the information.
Watched several videos of yours and researching options myself. Would like to know your thoughts on mini implant supported fixed cemented roundhouse bridge for full arch? Hope I got that terminology correct.
I have a question about G-Cam. I know there are different qualities out there. But I have heard about a new graphene-based material developed and produced by the Spanish company GrapheNano Dental in Spain. How good is this material for crowns etc? Cheers.
Hi, I was wondering if you are thinking about 6 in 1 in need bone graft done. Do you have to have that the same day as the implants, and if you need a sinus lift done
only when needed. funny thing is i literally just did 2 of them on a patient this afternoon. i think they should be done only when necessary. i think there's a tendency to do zygomatic implants too often by some surgeons. it should be saved for special occasions.
In my case was recommended as I have very thin bones . I just find out today after I send my 3D scan in Romania that may case is very complicated. I contacted 3 maxilo facial surgeon in Canada but they did tell me nothing. In fact 2 of them refuzed me without telling me why.
Hi dr. I’m currently 19 years old with my two lateral incisors missing I have a temporary composite filling on both to cover the gap while a partial denture is made. I have been advised to wait until 25 to get dental implants and with further research on them I keep coming across significant gum loss and that it’s quite common to lose gum tissue. As I’m young I care about how I look and how my teeth look and I’m having trouble on what a long term solution could be. Sorry for the ramble. All the best :p.s will having the partial in for around 5 years affect my gum and bone loss enough to were dental implants may not be suitable?
You need to get variety of consults with diff Drs. It’s only way Dr can assess you. It’ll be costly unless you have relatives in Austria- great national health system & much less costly than USA.

that's a good question. we would need to see a 3d scan or panoramic xray.
Dr. Choi. Thank you for these videos. Question? Do you know of anyone that practices ethically as yourself in the Maryland or Delaware area?
hi, sorry i dont know any doctors in that area.
Have you had any experience with this procedure on people with severe tmj dysfunction?

Can a sinus lift be done and 3 implants immediately placed submerged (to support a 4 piece bridge) ?

Question what is your take on the 3 dental bridges on 6 implants vs all on 4?
