Cop was acting so suspicious about everything when it all made perfect sense to me. It is very common to hold pee in a pill bottle, I have a pair of scissors that come apart just like that, throwing knives wtf????, and the guy was just warning him about what was in the bag, which was considerate in my opinion.

It's technically not illegal as long as the mirrors are working.
I think it's not illegal, though it depends on the state. They get very specific as to what is required to be present/working on a vehicle to be road legal, usually side windows, even doors, are not necisarry.

So those are legit scissors. They twist and lock in the center to close together. They are made to be taken apart like that for easy cleaning.

They actually make kitchen shears that come apart if you open them all the way so you can clean them. They're really annoying if your hand naturally opens more than the scissors can and they fall apart when you're trying to use them.

This isn't an officer looking to arrest someone specifically for knives, he's asking for his own safety.
Guns aren’t illegal. Unless you’re a person who shouldn’t have one. Otherwise it’s an extension of your home (in most states).
How has a cop never heard of someone peeing in a prescription bottle to give to someone to use for their urine test? People have been doing that for decades.

Secondly it’s not uncommon to have your friend have one ready because sometimes it’s random they have you come in. Ive noticed a pattern with these people. If they are willing to light up a cigarette immediately after being pulled over, and continue to try and smoke it while being searched, they are guilty of something.

ive seen pill bottles used for urine before. its actually liquid tight and stays at body temperature better (in case the pee test also checks for temp, which all do)
Nathaniel Beven yeah and if you can manage to wear sports compression shorts under your normal pants it will keep it somewhat insulated so it will keep its temperature longer. You have about 8-10mins when doing it this way, IF you’re able to find someone to pee in the container immediately before u go inside. Early, first thing in the morning is best since it’s not usually crowded and u can get right to the test. It works, just trust me on this one. I was young and made dumb mistakes back then too. But, I did end up beating that pee test which was for an internship. Getting that job changed my life even to this day. And to think, I would have failed it cuz of a joint a few days before I even knew I’d be tested. Is that the way it should be??
