You could also drill a hole or two for more settings.A lot of people don’t think about that for some reason. And you can drill a hold to put safeties in💪👍
Looks like an awesome machine. The leg press and hack squat are the only two movements I am really missing in my garage gym. I own the bulletproof Isolator and that thing works great for leg extensions and hamstring curls. Adding this to my gym would complete it. My power rack is a PR-5000 with the Ares 1.0. Love all of it. Thanks for the great review.
@@murdog04 that’s a solid set up you have. On this I pretty much just stick to the leg press and calf raise. Since I’ve had this I’ve yet to really throw the other two into the rotation.
leg press/hack squat is nice, with that calve option💯not to big,it does look like a job putting together but worth it,the pros definitely out weigh the cons, when i see machines like this im like a kid in a candy store, congrats on that piece mike😊
I was complaining earlier that I wish that Force USA was available in Canada . Apparently it is now 😊. Probably be ordering one ,as I can’t find any other decent options
Happy New Year, Mike. 09:41 is the Body Solid brand. I have it. Not good. (It doesn’t have the 2 track poles that your model has.) So when you use the Body Solid machine, the sliding part doesn’t move up/down evenly. Instead, it moves from side to side as it moves up/down. In less than a year or so, one of the track wheels malfunctioned, making the machine useless. Very poor design. Big mistake that I bought it.
@@hybridresistance You’re welcome, Mike. I also have the Body Solid seated Bicep/Tricep machine, and a Body Solid Smith Machine. Both are fabulous machines. Have both for over 20 years. Still like new. 😉
My local fitness store had the Hoist one, and man, that foot plate is TINY. I’m kind of scared to pull the trigger on buying from one of these smaller companies, but this video helps.
Thanks for the review. Can you please tell me if we can not put the upper horizontal holders? I have little room for the machine and only using the middle loaders would be great. And who knows I might have a bigger room in the future.
Yup...(a "free" $2k machine)....having a good YT channel definitely has its advantages!! Ha! Good for u. I'd luv to b able to get this....assembly and placement would definitely b the nightmare of this ....u still gettin that car in there?!?! Ha! Thnx for your wrk in '23....best of luk in '24!👍🏋️♂️👍🏋️♂️
Thank you brother. Tried to allude to it in the video, but yes with 5min break down on the one side, cars can still roll in the garage believe it or not.
looks like a great machine. the only other leg developing equipment i can think of are a tib bar and a legadductor/abductor (and no one has those in a home gym lol)
A big greeting from Italy. 😊 I would like to buy this model, but I'm afraid that the platform for performing the leg press is too small. Can you tell me the measurements of the platform on which your feet rest? The PRO version and V2 are currently on sale. Which one would you recommend? Price V2: 2.295 € Price PRO: 2.695 € Thank you 😊
Great review video. I have the body solid hack/leg press but am looking to upgrade to a linear bearing model. Have you seen the Bodycraft 760 (seems to have hack/Reg leg press/ hip sled/ calf raise)?
@hybridresistance hey man, do you think you can do a youtube short showing how deep you can get with the hack squat? Im 5-7 and my wife is 5'2 and im super curiois if we can hit depth on it
@@hybridresistance awesome thanks. I'm thinking I'm going to have to pull the trigger on this thing. I have low back problems now and squatting and deadlifting can't really be relied on.
@@AmorFati777X I’d also recommend you check out the squat max md as I have some videos on that. Really forgiving to your back and feels excellent for the legs.
@@hybridresistance ironically I have it I'm trying to sell it now. It's just not for me the vertical plate loading is a pain and I don't feel like I really hit depth on it. like it just doesn't feel like a good smooth movement.
I tried looking into it but couldn't find any information on that. All together, it's a beast of a machine but the individual metal long frame parts you can tell are not as solid as a commercial unit.
It get's pretty low, but I can't speak specifically if it will fit you and your depth ability. However, I 'd say this seems to have the lower capability of any combo press I've seen.
@@hybridresistance at 5’5, I go below parallel on hacks. Been wanting to buy one but want to make sure that I don’t get stuck with where I can only go to just above 90° on hacks. Am I wrong in thinking that if you pull the safety pin out that is attached to the seat that you can go down pretty deep?
It looks good but too expensive In my opinion.. for 1000 dollars you can get a similar leg press... GMWD Leg press. although you can load less weight on it..
Sometimes going with the cheaper option isn’t better with gym equipment. A lot of these combo machines have durability and range of motion issues that make them less use-able depending on user height. Some of the cheaper options don’t allow you to use single leg variations because the tilt in load causes the sled to lock in place. And spending all that money and not being able to go to full depth really sucks. I started my home gym with a lot of cheap stuff and I found it’s better to buy once and cry once instead of buying something that will be outgrown much quicker than you think
@@AntiGravityResearch2022 yes you are correct about this, however this particular leg press/hack squat gmwd combo had an impressively range of motion on both leg press and hack squats. The downside is that you can't load too much weight with this combo.. Like you said, if you want a good one, you will need to buy a specific machine at around 2000 to 4000 dollars for a very good one..

It's cheaper in Thailand. Can be sent across the country. Gymware brand like Leg Press-Hack Squat machine. Price $ 552.36
How much was shipping?

Seems to be better than Titan's version. Thanks for your review sir.
No problem, thanks for watching.
Hi , new to the channel . I’m in the market for a hack / leg press combo . Can you tell me if this runs on rollers or linear bearings ? Thanks
It's on rollers.
@ thanks , appreciate the feedback
How's the range of motion when using the hack squat?
It's good, you can get very deep on it.
@hybridresistance hey man, do you think you can do a youtube short showing how deep you can get with the hack squat? Im 5-7 and my wife is 5'2 and im super curiois if we can hit depth on it
Does anyone know how the hack/leg press machine works for 6'0" people in terms of bottom position ROM?
I'm 6' and it works for me. If you take out the bottom stopper beg you can basically can bottom it out, but you're pretty low at that point.

How is the hack squat depth??
I think very low. The depth as a whole on everything on here is perfect in my opinion.
Hack squat ROM? Focused entirely on leg press and missing the other major part of the machine?
Sorry brother. I can add that at 6', the hack squat depth is deep.
That's a power house.
I want it. How much did it weigh?
I tried looking into it but couldn't find any information on that. All together, it's a beast of a machine but the individual metal long frame parts you can tell are not as solid as a commercial unit.
I’ll call them and ask. It’s priced pretty reasonably. Cheaper models are like $1400 and they aren’t nearly as nice.
460 pounds
Can someone 5’5 get deep enough on hacks?
It get's pretty low, but I can't speak specifically if it will fit you and your depth ability. However, I 'd say this seems to have the lower capability of any combo press I've seen.

Is there a PRO version of this?
I'm not sure what you mean Greg? This is the only model they make.
I saw reviews of PRO version on UA-cam. I asked Force USA and they said they only sell it in Australia!
