Don't grease the sled if it uses rollers. If you grease the track you can make the rollers slide instead of roll making them wear uneven on the rollers. Just keep the bushings in the rollers lubricated.
Correct. Not sure why he said to grease it.
@@knightrider6473 I think its just a natural reaction to moving parts. I used to work with a fork lift mechanic that would get super mad almost weekly at the yard hands for slithering the inside channels of the fork mast with grease because they saw it dry and were trying to help.
@@knightrider6473probably cause he doesn't really know what he is doing
@@kschaub62 and that Atlantis hacksquat is on rollers and not linear bearings like he said it was, Lol.
Coop, you asked if we’d like more reviews of these type machines. No. Better that you review the 34th set of adjustable dumbbells for us dumbbells. A comparison of this and fettle and force USA would be way more helpful. And why not include a Timelapse of Sam building it? And I see even you are embarrassed with the dumb voice you assume when saying garage gym reviews in the beginning of every video. Drop it. It’s really annoying and does nothing to enhance your already excellent work. Oh, and trim the pubic hair on your lip. Lol.
FINALLY A HACK SQUAT LEG PRESS COMBO REVIEW!!!
THANKS! DO MORE!
Have had this machine for over a year. 90% satisfied. Small(er) footprint, have pressed over 700lb of plates with no issue. It's convenient and always ready to use with 10 second swap between the options. The 10% bad, the pull pin on the diamond footplate unscrewed and launched the pin causing the plate to shut on my toes. Lost the big toenail for months . And the handles are a pain keeping in the unlock position, they close every other rep. Put velco on handles to hold them in place.
Would be great to compare this Titan to the Force USA, BodyCraft and Body Solid units. The BodyCraft is interesting since it uses linear bearings and seems particularly well built with a smaller footprint.
This. I read a comment somewhere a guy mentioned that he had a lot of issues with his titan leg press with the rollers and bearings on the sled going bad a lot. Replacing other moving mechanical parts. I'm super interested in the body craft one being a tad smaller.
I agree. I think it would be good to include the compact leg sleds as well. Those only enable one movement, but this is already kind of a niche for home gym owners who are serious about leg training.
Completely agree. Would like to see the comparisons.
I've had the Force USA leg press/hack combo for a few yrs and love it but definitely have to put a couple bumpers on the foot plate while doing hacks or else the ROM is abysmal. I was interested in the BodyCraft due to the linear bearings but it had a lower weight rating so I went with ForceUSA. I'd love to see a BodyCraft review though and would even consider getting one and selling mine just because of the rollers vs linear bearings
@@robtrout1616 My interest in the BodyCraft is based on both the linear bearings and the smaller footprint. I think all it's missing is weight storage on the machine itself which Force USA provides. And it looks well built and thought through.
I'd like to see a review of the new Force USA Compact Leg Press/Hack Squat combo machine. Many of us are short on space and a compact machine that does two things is a win-win in my book.
I have this and I hate it. If you use it as a leg press it puts so much strain on the lower back. Everyone hates the machine. Getting rid of it for the force USA full sized one.
@@NicksGotBeefI have that piece and haven’t run into that issue. What seat angle do you use?
@@BrandonSchwartz1 well if I have the seat right back as if to hack then the machine is fine. Terrible for calf raise tho. But if you have it at near 90 deg I guess, it then causes problems. And if you think about the difference between this and a leg press, you are bent at 90 deg with the weight on your back essentially, rather than the weight on your legs. But for a limited space, and if using as a hack. It’s a good bit of kit, but leg press it is not very good Imo.
@@NicksGotBeefh ok gotcha. Yeah the 90 degree angle felt bad to me so I do about 2-3 holes visible and that seems ok on my back for leg press. I also have the foot plate angle up as far as possible and never move it just in case that makes a difference
@@NicksGotBeefI watched a review showing the seat sliding up while doing leg presses on the Force USA because of how it mounts.
I’ve had this machine for a little over 6 months, and it’s been great for me. No problems with it whatsoever.
All those pictures with a plate on one side only hurt my brain. :)
Thanks, Coop. Been waiting for someone on your level to review this piece for a long time.
More leg press hack squat combo reviews please!! The only reason i haven’t bought this one is the ROM isn’t deep enough for short ppl (I’m 5’6”) and i don’t want to use shoulder pads or an extra platform that could potentially slip
It looks like the ROM is too short for anyone who wants to go ATG. That’s a glaring design problem.
You could make a platform pretty easily to raise you up and get full depth. I do it on my squat machine. Very simple.
@@apcfitness I don’t want to drop 2k on a machine just to have to modify it. Imagine making a platform and the platform slipping and resulting in an injury…
@@flabio7074 yep, pretty clearly from the demonstration that coop can't even get parallel let alone ATG
I've had this machine for almost a year now and am actually 5'6," there's most definitely ROM issues with the machine most definitely with my wife at 5' flat, and just barely enough for myself to be parallel. It is good value but can also be a deal breaker for most.
I have this machine. The thing you missed was discussing that it bottoms out to high when doing hack squats. I bought 4 yoga blocks in order to get to proper depth.
Yeah the Force USA is much better in this regard
This is the info I was looking for
Thanks for this. They main reason I haven't considered all the other cheap combo machines, I guess this is out of the question aswell even though they have made things better
Im glad you brought it up. Real disappointed it's not talked about. It's a huge deal while using it. I've used this machine before had to use 3 inch yoga blocks on my shoulders and stand on a make shift padded floor just keep from bottoming out and making sure I can hit full depth.
yea i noticed in the footage he only hit parallel and was very close to hitting the bottom already. would definitely be an issue
Love to see more reviews about leg ext/curl machines!!!
Please review the Bolt Outlaw. It is a linear bearing leg press/hack squat with wide foot plates and better range of motion for hack squats.
I have one and its far better than this unit. You cant go wrong with bolt. I've got their rubber coated plates couple barbells several attachments and the press. Their stuff is top teir.
Keep in mind, the Five stars are based on my needs for this item ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxUHHotQRjIQnfuxEeVotlkHVYWH0DXZoS When I first bought the bike I was going to return it immediately. After trying it out for several days/weeks I came to realize it is actually perfect for WHY I bought it.This is not a workout, the resistance is, eh, it makes a bit of noise, not loud, and it isn’t very stable even with the mat. The mat certainly keeps the bike from sliding but nothing keeps the mat from sliding (if that makes any sense, lol). Mine is place on my hard wood floor. Maybe it would be better with a rug underneath??I sit for long hours for work and wanted something to keep my legs moving. This bike does exactly that! For the price it is amazing, it is compact, easy to use, light weight, keeps track of time, calories etc (not sure how accurate it is) but good little product. I am happy with it.
The new version of Force USA is great…Band peg attachments on top and bottom…oversized shoulder pads for front squats…so you really get leg press, hack squat, calf raise, front squat. Building it requires an engineering degree!!! Great review on Titan though as usual!!
You don't bottom out on it? How tall are you?
Definitely more innovative than their latest kettle bell
You're not a fan of spending $150 for a 50lb kettle bell(I know I think it's a scam.)
@@albertfischer8804 well it's $3 per pound, made overseas, and Joe Rogan/Onnit already did this design. Heck even the Spartan Race came out with their spartan style kettlebell. Just isn't a new idea, or a great collab (like say mandalorian helmet), and it's expensive
😂😂
@@albertfischer8804 if REP released the same product at the same price, it wouldn’t be a scam.
Love to see more reviews about leg ext/curl machines
Thanks for the great review Coop! I dont have any space in my garage gym for a machine like this, but I really like it.
Let’s go! I was hoping you did a review on the titan leg press. Thank you coop!!!
I have the titan leg press. I love mine. Wish I had a hack squat also.
@@unklewheez6629 If I can find the space I might consider getting one 😂
Thanks for making this video Coop. Titan had it on a flash sale today, so I grabbed one.
Definitely enjoyed this and would like to see more combo machine reviews. Would like to see a review of the Prime Fitness SSB and their leg ext/curl combo.
This machine is bogus...as well as the owner of this page you can clearly tell he's bieng paid to promote this machine...first of all this machine is outdated its very old..plus hack squat you cannot go very low because there is a bar the stops you from going deep...and for leg press you cannot perform single leg press because that same bar will crush your leg
Thanks COOP and SAM. What an excellent review.
Great job Coop ! You hit all the bases. Thats what im talkin about. That rig looks great.
Great review! I’ve been waiting for you to review this for months
I’ve found it’s very difficult to find a combo machine that allows for ATG ROM for both leg press/squats. Would really appreciate if got included more details on ROM in these type of reviews, since that can really make or break the machine for people
Hope to see more of these type of reviews!
Finally! Leg Press reviews!!!
Love this review. I would be greatful for a budget leg extension machine.
Thanks, Dr. Phil
Would love to see the ForceUSA one. That's always been my first choice and is available in the UK unlike the Titan.
Coop, I have the Titan machine. I agree with most of what you found. It is heavy! My gym is in the basement, so had to bring it down in pieces. The sled portion was one piece, and I needed help with that one. It went together really well. I've had it for almost 2 years now, and it is trouble free. I've followed your reviews and have purchased many of the recommended/budget pieces that you have reviewed. I have over 30 pieces of equipment now, and somehow can't resist getting something new that makes the workout more interesting. Keep up the good work; I really enjoy your videos.
How’s the range of motion for this leg press/hack squat combo?
@@sonofashepherd6668 It’s good for me; I’m 5’8”. I guess it depends on how deep you want to go. There is a hard stop that prevents you from going really deep on the hack squat. For the leg press, no issues.
Coop - awesome content rom you & the team, as always - kudos, you guys are crushing it! Would love to see a little more reviews on those specialty "commercial-gym-esque" pieces; basically multi-function, selectorized or plate loaded machines, press/squat, extension/curl, press etc... With the growth in one gyms, do you think there's room in the market for some of these suppliers to tailor their commercial offerings to more private applications? PS I have this Titan piece at home, its my only Titan piece in an all-Rogue gym - I was pleasantly surprised with the quality, it works well and the movements feel good, it's sturdy, and I opted not to install the upper axel bar weight older to make the machine more narrow, using steel plates you can get a decent amount of weight on the horns underneath the machine. Keep up the awesome work GGR! Cheers man 👍🏻
Yes, Review the titan vertical leg press por favor!
I'm creating my homegym and a hack squat leg press combo machine is one piece I'm sure I'll be putting on. I have already spotted several on the market so I am very very favorable to you doing reviews on this category!
Which one did you go with, and are you happy with it?
I been WAITING for this!!!!!
Yes, vertical leg press review please!!!
Would like to see a reciew on vertical leg presses
Would love to see a review of the leg press. I've been looking at that for awhile but still not sure.
Can you do a review on the Bodycraft f760 and the Fettle Fitness combo Leg Press/Hack Squat Machines? I’m trying to decide between the 2 machines.
Brought a force USA leg press for $750 aud used. I really hate leg days and this has helped making it more fun
yes, more reviews on leg presses please.
Nice bro. Can you also review the power tech leg press attachment? Thank you so much and love what you're doing!
I was waiting for this! Do you think you can get full deep down on the hack squat?
Also, I’d like the review of BODY-SOLID PRO-SELECT LEG EXT. & LEG CURL MACHINE
Thank you!
I just scored one of these used for $750. I had been looking at them new for months and jumped on it when I saw someone post it on Facebook. This is a great machine.
How does that Facebook thing work. You search for items or jsut check randomly what people out.
@@HeyIntegrity I check Facebook marketplace in between sets. Working out is always a good reminder to check
Please do a review on some Higher end combo units. Both Bolt Fitness and Legend Fitness have combo's which are alot closer to commercial or 'Rogue/Sorinex' quality. While they might be a bit more expensive, they are on linear bearings, use thicker steel and feel WAY nicer
They are about the same price! Maybe $100 difference. Titan is priced at $1,700! Bolt is by far a way better deal!
@@rgtz54 Yes review the Legend fitness combo LP, Hack
Please do a review on the body solid leg press / hack squat in comparison to the Titan version.
Bring all the leg press reviews! Plz!
I regret not buying this when it was $1200 a couple years ago. I think it recently went up in price again too because now it's $1900. Remember it being 1700 at some point.
Edit to add yes please review the vertical leg press!
Titan denied the price increase lol. I sent them a screen shot of $1200 when they posted it for $1800 at The Cheapest Price This Year!
Same except i'd been considering since it was 999. I just got mine last labor day for under 1200 with the 5% new customer discount. Just keep an eye on it they do huge sales.
Please Review the Arsenal Strength Vertical leg press
@@JoeyJungleGym No way, doesn't sound at all like something Titan would do.
I agree! I will say they did add 2 plate horns to this new model, but I don’t think that justifies another $800 lol
I’d like to see some reviews on different leg extension/curl combos for home gym use. I had the Titan leg curl/extension v1 and it caused tendon pain behind my knee that I had never felt with any other curl machine before. Needless to say, I got rid of it and the pain resolved itself.
amazing review! Question - Is it 40” overall even with the plate horns?
Great review!
Another good combo is the body solid very compact and versatile to use-
Review the ForceUSA one! Looks like the best ROM, most stable foot print, best construction and largest leg press plate
Coop I would love to see a review on Titans vertical leg press!!
Coop, have you ever seen any of the Yukon fitness equipment? Mainly the vertical leg press and the leg extension/curl machine? Probably foreign made, but wanted to know. Saw the vertical at a local used dealer and it look well-built.
I’d love some vertical leg press reviews. I’ve got a small space so I’m considering buying one.
Please review XMark rotary leg extension/curl.
Would like to see the Renegade or Outlaw Leg Press/Hack Squat Combo units from Bolt Fitness.
Both appear to be capable of holding twice as much weight, with chrome lined sleeves, greater range of motion, larger foot plates, and linear bearings.
Would like to see a review of inverted leg press machines. Much more compact for smaller spaces. Could also compare to functional trainers with Smith Machine attachments that come with a foot plate for leg press.
I've been eyeing this for about a year. I'm 6'4". Bummed to hear that it's probably not the best idea given my height, but glad I never pulled the trigger.
Can you go over all the leg extension rack attachments and over home leg extension options?
Can you please review the verticle leg press?
Specifically weight capacities, quality and overall value 😊
Would love to see a review/comparison of MAG attachments vs the knock offs
Please review some vertical leg press machines! Thank you, Sir!!!😊
As many leg press/leg press attachment reviews as possible please!
Titan make the leg curl / extension attachments for your power rack !!! Can’t find a review for that.
Can we get just ONE more clip of Coop leg pressing or hack squatting unloaded?
Have you used the force usa compact leg press hack squat. Would like to see a review on it.
First thing I noticed was the size of the plate for the leg press: papa likes a WIDE stance
Yes please review some - compact - vertical leg press machines....
Oh my gosh. I need this in my garage 🥲 I’ve missed hitting the vertical leg press. I have a leg press attached to my body solid multi home gym thingy, but it’s seated and only goes up to 200 pounds. Somehow the mechanism doubles the weight on that particular movement, but I’m not sure if that’s accurate.
please do best leg ext/curl combo machines!
Coop - can you compare this to the Force USA Ultimate leg press / hack squat? Thanks for the consistently excellent content.
Would love to see a review of the ForceUSA Compact leg press / hack squat machine
Can you do a comparison of the different types of leg presses (i.e. Linear, squat press, vertical).
So this is where I'm paralyzed by indecision. I have a rack and functional trainer as well as cardio options. I'm wanting to add some keg movements to my garage gym but I don't know whether something like this, an extension/curl combo, or a glute ham setup would be the best bang for the buck. They all have roughly the same footprint. Thoughts?
Please review Elite FTS leg press and hack squat 🙏
Seen anything about the Henny, Coop? Saw that a few weeks ago and have been really intrigued about what you'd think of it.
How does this stack up to the Body Solid GLPH1100??
Also, Body Solid seems to be almost a dirty word around the fitness universe, (I have no affiliation with them) but I wonder why? Everything I've owned of theirs is solid (no pun intended), if not class-leading, for the home gym owner. The Body Solid brand is almost never included in any head-to-head comparisons on any of the gym review channels. Just curious.
Bells of Steel is releasing something similar that also lets you isolate and do "single-leg leg presses". That would be a very interesting review.
I would love your take on the powertec leg press
Would LOVE to see vertical reviews !
Yes on the vertical leg press review
@@-GarageGymReviews..-- awesome! and then the leverage squat whenever possible would be fantastic.

FORCE USA LEG PRESS HACK SQUAT COMB
GMWD and Hoist machines 😅
Can you review/compare with the ForceUSA and Ritfit options, please?
Coop- Is there any hack squat/ leg press combo that is is more comfortable for taller people?
Can you make a video for the vertical leg press? Don't know if I should spend more money if the vertical leg press can do the job
Coop, in your opinion, what’s the best hack squat leg press for under 2k?
I bought the GMWD Leg press Hack squat combo from Amazon. Only cost me 1300. It doesn't have the top bar for adding weight but does have band pegs. If I did want to go heavier, I think I could figure out a way to add my safety squat bar to the movement. No complaints for 13 hundred bucks.
Been eyeballing that one. How you like it? Able to go deep?
Would love to see a comparison video with low end, mid end, and high end recommendations
Please do more comparisons of these combo units. 100% my next purchase.
Bolt fitness outlaw
Hey coop - would be cool to see a review of the force USA compact unit. Lower cost and smaller footprint. The larger units are just too big for most garage gyms I think. They’re huge.
In the works! - Coop
Please review the vertical leg press. I would love to know if they are worth it.

what is your thoughts on the Bodycraft F760 Leg Press / Hack Squat?
How about reviewing the titan fitness linear hack squat
I recommend the powertec leg press or the NEW force usa Compact leg press with hack squat
