I just finished cooking shrimp as you did, and man o man, it’s the best shrimp I have eaten ever, thank you, thank you for sharing your recipe! Please show us more. It came out really great!
Bro... I threw them together in a rush with your instructions and they were better than a restaurant!! Thanks. By the way, I used way less oil just cus I always try less the first time. Was still delicious. Only 1/2 teaspoon for .5 kg
I added BBQ meat rub along with salt, pepper, olive oil, and a small amount of wine/garlic seasoning. Then air fry the shrimp the same way you did in the video.
I marinade my shrimp or at least 2 hours or more in pineapple juice soy sauce orange marmalade with onion and garlic powder it's to die for delicious I love seafood
Yes you do need to get one because I have four I don't use the stove I don't use the oven anymore I do all my cooking in my air fryers even cookies bread you name it I do it in my air fryer you'll love it
FROZEN BBQ wings took 20 min. @ 400 degrees. Pulled them out and put Crinkle Fries Frozen. 🍟 15 min. @400 degrees. In a short time BBQ Wings were still hot 🔥 resting in the microwave. Had a ice cold Blue Moon to wash it down. $59.00 well spent! NO DIRTY POTS & PANS! Thx...video
Intimidating ? You're absolutely right I had a severe panic attack before the shrimp was done. I'm doing much better and I plan on trying it again when they let me out of the nervous hospital
new subscriber! I used jumbo raw shrimp seasoned with Tony Chachere's creole seasoning! over Jasmine rice, & green beans! EZ peee-zey!😋😋Thank uuu Chef!
Thanks 😊 I've cooked my shrimp exactly like that. But I've also cook them straight from the bag frozen with shell and the were just as delicious. Why didn't you suggest cooking frozen with shell?
That’s good to know. My recipes are all about ease and success, especially when it comes to novice cooks. So I want to make sure those who try it get a shrimp that is both properly cooked and ready to eat. But by all means, if you prefer to peel the shrimp after they are cooked and have good results of putting them into air frier straight from freezer, go for it. Thanks for watching and happy cooking 😀
I’ve always done the same. Straight up 21-25 weight 5 minutes on one side at 370 and flip and another 5 at 370 and I found that keeping them shelled while air frying them locks in the flavor and moisture. So so succulent and delicious.
@@andrewplumlee4188 100% Cooking with shell on absolutely adds more flavor, and is a great option for those who prefer that method. Thanks for watching and happy cooking!
Thanks for sharing your technique ... looking forward to trying. My question: if I'm preparing for a family, and cooking approx. 1/2 pound per session in my Air Fryer ... what's the preferred method to keep the previously air-fried shrimps nice & warm, without drying out ... until I finish cooking all the others -- to end up with, say, four or five baskets worth to all be added together?
Thanks for watching and good question. I suggest keeping them warm in an oven (some even have a “keep warm” or “warm” setting). You might also want to use a lid or even aluminum foil for the oven-proof dish to prevent the shrimps from drying out. Happy cooking!
@@IWantToCook excellent information, and I appreciate! (can't believe your fast response!) Armed with all your great info ... New sub to your channel! I love recipe channels and yours looks wonderful. I have an air fryer I got for Christmas and still have not used it yet so I love this recipe. I have never made any type of fish or shrimp at home but I want to try this recipe it looks very easy and delicious
I personally have not tried that method, but in theory it should work. My only concern is the breading burning, but I think with this short of cooking time you should be ok. If you try it please update on how it turns out. 😀
I do it both ways, depending how I feel (and sometimes just simmered in a sauce or even broiled in a toaster oven). The right way is the one you prefer and yields tasty results. Cheers! 🙏

Great video. If you cooked more, would you do do in batches or stack them up? Thanks.

So there is a lot in a bag shelled and cooked I take it that not best to get to grill or air fry?
Which seasoning did u use for the prawns, did u dry the plans after rinsing
If memory serves I used some Old Bay. Yes, I suggest drying after rinsing, then coating with oil and seasoning before air frying. Hope you enjoy 👍

Same exact air fryer that I have!
Right on! I use it all the time.
Xcellent!
Thank you :)
🙏
Did you use oil?
Yes. When air frying, I coat the food in a little oil to help it crisp and “fry.”
@@IWantToCook thank you
How much do you cook the big shrimp on?
Same temp should be fine: 390 or 400 degrees F. You might want to add a minute or two; just check for doneness as you go.

@@tessasmith8230 fantastic! so glad to hear :)
Please don’t cook cook shrimp for 9 mins in an air fryer at 200c,just chew the end of a pencil.
Ha! I must admit that made me laugh, thank you. By all means, cook them to your liking; just make sure they are actually cooked, lol. 🤪
Totally mate, mines take 4/5 mins max and they’re perfect, doubling that time would destroy them in my fryer.
180c is ok
Lol. I know what commenter mean, but yous look fantastic!
Hey bro, you sound so much like Bernard from The Santa Claus 👍
I’ll have to look that up and take a listen. Cheers!
Mine is not fresh so minor thought and ready but they were not fresh
Frozen shrimp work fine. Just thaw first. Enjoy!
390 degrees for 9 minutes
Thanks
What about de-veining them. Or, did I miss you cleaning out the vein?
If memory serves, these were de-veined. I recommend going the easy-peel, de-veined route if you can. Cheers!
I think pan fried ais far better every time my friend.

Right sideburn is longer
New trends need to begin somewhere, lol.
@@IWantToCook haha just tried the recipe fire 🔥
I have an air fryer:)
That size is too small…I use 21 to 30 size..that is why they cooked so quickly..
When shrimp are curled like a C they are done
400 6 min
No shaking it?
Im scared of shrimp.
They don’t bite, I promise, and cooking them this way all but guarantees success. 😀🙌
Use the for fish bait.
390
Thanks allot
My pleasure!
