The irresistible urge to find spent bullets. . . Not one I ever found looked like those perfect expanded, almost flower like things you see in the ammo advertisements. Great video Chris and Justin. 👍
I was a field tech doing setup at the Holloman high speed test track when they tested a hyper velocity penetrator. Aside from being much larger, the holes it made in multiple two or three inch slabs looked a heck of a lot like the ones y'all just put in those plates.
Yeah, like twice as fast. Very cool. they also make saboted depleted uranium darts for the 25mm and 40mm autocannons. very destructive on engines and AFVs
I'm pretty sure it was the Raufoss round that went all the way through and hit the back plate. The back plate really moved a lot on that shot and the hole in the rear plate of target lines up with where the back plate was hit.
I like you guy's videos when I see them in my feed. Glad you're doing this channel. Just think could get alot more views especially if the shooter talked less and you explained faster. I think the videos should be shorter or longer depending on the algorithm you're trying to hit. Only wish you success on the channel. Really cool rounds always!
Said for years it wasn’t likely a powder issue it was a muzzle device issue. I saw no way Mark Serbu could determine the exact type of amount of powder in the one that nearly killed Scott. That’s kind of a giant piece of the puzzle…. All it takes from my understanding having made 9x19 sabot rounds that go 2400+ fps from a G17L, (I did my own load development) you gotta use a LOT of powder for reasons I don’t feel like taking the time on my phone to explain via a couple paragraphs. Any muzzle blockage will spike chamber/barrel pressure astronomically… I will say the main reason for the high powder charges is low friction and light projectile. Smokeless needs pressure to burn correctly, which is hard to produce consistently with normal powder charges in the above situation.
Have you guys done ball bearing tombstone armor yet?. Shouldn't be too expensive but you can get a good mix of sizes and then they should get a nice dense fill.
You should think about bringing a themal inspection camera with you, to find the hot projectiles after shooting them. It may help in recovering them while they are super hot.
I was just thinking in my head i wish there was a channel that tests slap rounds and bam this stuff shows up and i just quickly check at your uploaded vids and i see slap alot more and am now all giddy haha
1. That video slapped like a stepdad. 2. Where are the jorts? I leave for like 6 months on a deployment and this is what I come home to! 3. I’m going ballistic trying to find some ballistic testing on 9mm major. Do you think you could hook a brother up? They can be purchased or if you have the ability to reload 9mm you have everything you need. Would seriously love to see some good testing. As far as I can see nobody else on UA-cam is wearing jorts or testing 9 major.
@@Njazmo oh 100% but they probably inspect the rounds closely (pretty sure they mentioned something along the lines in the past) maybe even the supplier plus they are using a weapon that in the worst case scenario would atleast release part of the blast to the side and front instead of the entire force going straight back at the shooter like in the KB incident
My absolute favorite channel on UA-cam. I feel like gun tubers are moving away from the “will it stop a bullet” type of videos and it’s a bummer. Not you guys tho. It keeps bringing me back. Keep it up boys!
Nothing to addd to the conversation, this is to feed the algorithms. Of course and to say glad to see you boys sending high speed projectiles towards an object on here again.
would be sick to see the damage more like instead of something that would just show a hole like a plate something with more depth so you can see the deformation and or impact force
It would be cool to see one of those slap rounds with an ultra high speed camera. I wonder if Taofledermaus would be interested in collaborating with you?
Raufouss is very impressive. I didn't expect that after the first one.
The irresistible urge to find spent bullets. . . Not one I ever found looked like those perfect expanded, almost flower like things you see in the ammo advertisements. Great video Chris and Justin. 👍
Awesome video 👏👏👏
Thank you 👍
That was fun to watch! Those rounds are no joke, and dual plates really shows how those different bullets make a mess. Have a nice weekend guys!
Wow those slap rounds were really truckin!
GB. Good video. A bunch of hard-hitting rounds! Thanks for sharing and take care.
As usual, a very interesting video. But the music was cut during the slow-motion scenes, I guess youtube removed it.
Yes, you are correct
Nice video man ! It's so nice seeing you guys on my feed again.
Hey, thanks!
Great comparison👍
I really appreciate the digging out too.
Love the breakdown of the brake! Thought I heard Tantric playing in the background
I'm happy to see consistent uploads again! love the content
Great videos, really deserve more views. Good luck. ❤
Thank you so much!
Missed this when it came out,2 days later I got a notification, still, good to have you back.
Awesome video guys keep them coming!!!
We will!
Very nice video, the black tip is better than most of the other 50 rounds at penetration, but obviously the SLAP and mk 211 are even better
At least you all didn't Kentucky ballistic yourself 😂
Thats just dirty....... that wasnt his fault, it was the ammo
Glad to see you, Friends!!
Hello from Russia
Hello there!
Wow I did not expect any rounds to go through both plates spaced out that far. Great video.
You and me both!
Dope! Glad you guys are back,my favorite uncles from another country
Appreciate that

Did you see the folks in costume running around the mini railroad park on Sundays, bopping each other with foam "swords"?
3800 + wow, that's faster than most speeding bullets, LOL. Love having you guys back. Have a fantastic day.
Yeah, like twice as fast. Very cool. they also make saboted depleted uranium darts for the 25mm and 40mm autocannons. very destructive on engines and AFVs
Yes it was fast, but you could clearly see that it was not stabilized well and would be terrible for long distance shots.
@@The_Judge300 wow, I only care about bullets hitting at 25 yards anyhow, and it slammed the steel, but I understand what your saying.
Imagine how flat that shoots out of an M2, no wonder it held the longest confimed kill for a hot minute.
I'm pretty sure it was the Raufoss round that went all the way through and hit the back plate. The back plate really moved a lot on that shot and the hole in the rear plate of target lines up with where the back plate was hit.
you can see whatever is left of the slap round shooting out from behind the target and veering up into the air and its still going Fast.
Almost 4000fps!! My god lmao.
Good to see you guys back up and running I love the channel! Keep them coming!

Another great video guys. Glad to see the suns out. Those slap rounds have some serious velocity
I know I sound redundant but so happy to see you guys back in action. You should see my 1974 Colt Combat Commander 45acp

Backpressure for sure caused scotts catastrophic incident.
The perfect storm of a relatively feeble design for a rifle combined with a massive brake.
You guys use the 50 I like the most. Then Brandon and his AK50, and then everything else. Nice to see you guys back in the range
So appreciate the Krono overlay
Have you guys done ball bearing tombstone armor yet?. Shouldn't be too expensive but you can get a good mix of sizes and then they should get a nice dense fill.
Yes, one of our first ones I believe.

Nice and the shorts is back! Justin in jeans was strange that is like Justin in a Sabot! XD
Awesome content... Love the "to the point" way of these vids. Thx
Glad you enjoyed!
Yes!!!!! Another kickass video from these dudes. Love em
Awesome THANKS guys. Hope you all have an amazing weekend
Thanks you too
“Im pulling a Edwin “ 😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀
Edwin is funny! Great video
Glad you enjoyed
Team up with ballistic high Speed, for muzzle Shots of the slap sabot separation and impacts of the slap and raufoss on multi layer spaced steel
I was just thinking in my head i wish there was a channel that tests slap rounds and bam this stuff shows up and i just quickly check at your uploaded vids and i see slap alot more and am now all giddy haha
Slap rounds? Have we learned nothing from Uncle Kentucky?
Glad to see your videos are popping back up brother
Try running a magnet through the dirt Hi Jennifer. Good to see you guys doing videos again. Missed you

LOL, I let Justin know he needs to dress in Jorts from now on
i really like that you are still using slap rounds couse they always produce awesome results most other creators shy away from it nowadays
There might be fake slap rounds for sale, gotta be careful!
Missed you boys, good to see you back. Keep it up.
I can’t believe it knocked the sticker off the second plate. Amazing
Good video
I think a decent magnet would be the secret weapon finding the rounds. I don’t know if that stuff is magnetic or not but if so it’s a good idea.
Can you show the damage the party popper when it explodes? Maybe a wall of Spam or soda jugs to demonstrate the power of that blast.

if your weather is anything like my weather
i thank you for just going outside and making a vid.
that was great.
I watch anything you all put out on UA-cam. Keep it up!
Thanks! Will do!
Great test, thanks for your work.
Our pleasure!
Slap rounds are so cool you guys are awesome keep it up
that last plate had my birthday on the back i guessing that was the manufacture date

Good golly!
Those things zip!
Thank you Gentlemen 🙏
One for the algorithm 👍🏼 thanks guys, have a great day, cheers
Thanks for the video and your time👍
No problem 👍
Thanks for another great video guys.
Thanks for watching!
Nothing like starting the weekend with a video from the boys!! Hope yall are doing well. I almost didn’t recognize Justin with the long shorts on😂
❤❤ let's go guys. I'm always excited to see you guys videos. Hands down my favorite. 🎉🎉
Mass has a quality all of it's own but velocity is king when it comes to putting holes in armour.
Bravo, jolly good show!
The original slap masters. Thanks again Colorado family. Represent.
You bet
imagine a 1000 of these going off at the same time, like that winchester shooting line, would it cause cracks in the ground?
Almost 22-250 velocity out of a .50 is impressive.
Absolutely thats a 1oz + projectile moving at that speed.
The word devastating comes to mind if that were to hit a soft target.
3
5 times the power of 30-06.
What about 50 BMG rounds shooting at angled steel how much less steel would it take to go through at different angles?
Try stacked dvd's as diy armor, they are polycarbonate discs
Gotta love those slap rounds. Great video
My Weatherby 300 hovers around 3275 ftps. Just need tips 😎
Thanks Guys!
You bet!
SWEEt, welcome back
Godfather of SLAP
Thanks.
that second one was good 💥 but the slap slaps!
We used the "slap" rounds in our barretts back in 04
How thick are the plates, With SLAP .50 I remember about 30mm it will go though
Keep up the awesome work guy's.
Thanks! Will do!
would be sick to see the damage more like instead of something that would just show a hole like a plate something with more depth so you can see the deformation and or impact force
Wow those two plates didn't even phase that slap going sideways. It'd still be extremely lethal afterwards
How do you tell if the SLAP rounds are not sabotaged like KB’s was? Do you x ray them or anyway to tell before shooting?
It would be cool to see one of those slap rounds with an ultra high speed camera. I wonder if Taofledermaus would be interested in collaborating with you?
i wasn't getting notifications, i am glad i found you guys'
We are too
Raufuss was very impressive. After the raufuss I right away thought you should of put 4 plates for the slap
I always forget how devastating Raufuss rounds are, imagine taking fire from a M2 with a belt of those loaded up thats nightmare material.
I am new to this channel, at what range a you shooting at ??
Проломленная дырень во втором листе брони при третьем выстреле -- крышесносно!
I think the Raufouss went right through and hit the back plate behind the sand bags.
Kentucky Ballistics had e real neck for the SLAP´s untill he had one in the neck. Keep save!
Thanks for the cool video guys!
that was insane just pushing through steel
Happy you didn't blew up using the slap rounds.
Nice work!
Thanks!
"These things kind of fly on their own path"
Hmm, wonder why.
The Slap then Rufus round second then your standard AP round.
Still no music with the super slo-mo? S'okay, still love your vids. 👍👍👍👍
UA-cam took it off
@@GoingBallistic wait..... what?🤔
Always fun with you guys. More videos less living your own lives.😎
My question is, do they make these for a 5.56?
Another great video
Glad you enjoyed it
Another great video guy's, don't ever change 😂
