Dragons Forever is underrated. It doesn't make a lot of fans' top ten lists, it doesn't have a big showstopper stunt scene, the Wheels on Meals fight with Bennie the Jet was more intense, but I think Dragons Forever sets the bar for what Jackie, Sammo and the team could do in their prime. This is "second tier" Chan and it still runs circles around 99.99% of action movies.
It's also a bittersweet aspect that this was the last time to date (as at 3rd November 2022) that Jackie Chan, Sammo Hung and Yuen Biao all starred in one movie together. From what I read, the Big Brother/Little Brother rivalry between Sammo and Jackie started to resurge either during this movie's shooting schedule or not long beforehand, causing them to go their separate ways for a while. Jackie would work with Sammo again a decade later in _Mr. Nice Guy,_ (1997), whilst Yuen Biao did some stunt-double and stunt-choreographer work in _Shanghai Noon_ (2000), in which Jackie starred, but still nothing starring all three at once.
Ive noticed only jackie chan had those kind of fight scenes where he would run away because he's out numbered but also kick ass on the run. he also he is one of the only ones i can think of that actually used ANY and EVERYTHING around him man he was really creative!!!!!
Dragons Forever is a classic jackie Chan film directed by Sammo Hung Kim Bo Excellent kung fu fight scenes that is Fast Furious and STUNNINGLY AMAZING 🤠🤠🤠🤠🤠🤠🤠🤠
Everyone including Jackie says Bruce Lee is the best! But how can you compare the 2? They are completely different fighters.. Personally my list is 1) Jackie Chan 2) Yuen Biao 3) Jet Li 4) Sammo Hung 5) Donnie Yen Though I still think Bruce Lee is the best.. this is just movies..
@Kram808 i think its jsut because america gives him crap roles like rush hour he even amits he's no fan of the rush hour fanchainse but also i think your right about the stunts to damn americans lol
Dick Wei, one of the great villains from Sammo's films from the eighties. When you saw him pop up , you knew there would be a good fight with him in the movie. At least one :)

Dragons forever and Twinkle twinkle lucky stars, both great movies with the trio and with some great and hilarious fight scenes.
Hey, the fight scenes in this movie are also intense. Dragons Forever is a great movie.

Love this movie 😮
Even in Hong Kong stuntmen fear to work with jackie. He had to form a personal stunt team after a few injured stuntmen refused to work with him.
Fpfg
LOL should have added that end where the guy decides to just jump off of the ship
This is a all signature Jackie Chan parkour
Wow Jackie Chan is so Good and Powerful Go Jackie Chan Go
In my view, Jackie always did his very best martial artistry whenever Sammo Hung choreographed him, and this movie is no exception.
that final kick must be a tribute to Bruce Lee lol Jackie Chan fight scenes awesome as usual
Background Theme is Osm 👊👌

Yes, that's Tai Po, who co-starred with Conan Lee in that film.
