This MP Concepts Rear Window Louver will not only give your Mustang a bold modern appearance, but with its convenient lift off design it can easily be removed for routine cleaning of your back window.
Manufactured from injection molded acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), this Rear Window Louver was designed to ensure a perfect fit. ABS is an extremely strong material known for its light-weight, superior durability and impact resistance - making it perfect to withstand the hazards of daily driven vehicles. MP Concepts then completes their Louver in a durable gloss black finish for great looks and long life.
MP Concepts designed their Rear Window Louver to install simply with no drilling required. This MP Concepts Rear Louver installs using mounting brackets that secure to the exterior rear window glass with 3M automotive bonding tape. Installation can be completed in about one hour with just basic hand tools, however you should wait at least 24 hours for the brackets to fully cure before driving.

I'm adding on of these to my Mustang to match my mullet

The mounting hardware is plastic crap, the studs are plastic, they strip and snap off very easily. Notice in the video they use a power ratchet on the first one, and a regular ratchet on the rest. They snapped off the stud.
I snapped a couple of mine too. You have to be very careful to not tighten it to much in the slightest or they will snap off.
The choice to use plastic and metal is Wild. This product is shit
Did anyone find a solution to this? Having the same problem.

I was going to buy this until I saw the foam blocks to stop the louver from sagging in the middle. Ridiculous engineering oversight and definitely an afterthought. Rigidity isn't there.
This is a S550 Ecoboost with aftermarket rear window louver and the ugliest aftermarket spoiler I've ever seen.
How do you clean underneath it? Do you have to remove it every time you want to clean?

Slightly dissapointed mine came with cheap plastic attachments instead of the metal, does not feel as secure as I would like or expect
Also had to drill bigger holes since some of them were way too small to stick the bolt through
Is there any where I can find the hardware for this? I bought an open box that was cracked I fixed it up perfectly but has no hardware

I'm more afraid of the 3m tape degrading over time and it just flying off on the highway
It won't happen all at one it will start with a corner or two . I'm experiencing that now and gonna be new louvers anyway . When one corner is weak you'll see it kinda flap up but ive been driving it like that for 6 months now but I wont push my luck anymore . Time for new ones
Water/moisture buildup will mean replacement of the adhesive but not as big a hassle as you’d think - and the same Louvers stay on just as easily. Never had liftoff like anyone suggests

I bought some corner Louvers for my 2017 mustang, and they came in bent from the tip. I wasn’t able to stick them on my corner windows. I returned them to get a replacement. When I got the replacement they were the same

I’ve had Louvers on 3 of my vehicles - saves the seats from sun damage and makes winter snow easier to remove!
It's too big and bulky needs to flow with the rear window

Touchless ones, sure! I wouldn't recommending running this through an automatic with brushes though just to be safe. Some of them can be really rough and you don't want it to damage the louvers. -Zach

The quality is good, you cant wash your car with something attached with adhesive, anytime you want to wash it they need to be removed

Yea you kinda played yourself my G. It's adhesive not bolted on directly.
You can undo the bolts and remove the louver, which will leave the 3M adhesive connected to the window. After you’ve gone through the car wash, you can then reattach the louver.
Shouldn’t be running your car through a car wash in the first place😂😂
