I’ve photographed many churches and found that bracketing works best if you do it without bright sun outside (Not always possible)… Pick a time when it’s extremely overcast but you have enough light to illuminate the windows, or high noon when the sun is directly overhead! Trust me it’s much easier to bracket.

You should do a video on how you take such shape long exposure photos hand held…..

Actually dng files at least converted in lr can be denoised with ai in lr - not only raw files from the camera. In my lr workflow i convert raw files from my camera to dng at import stage automatically. Then if i need i use denoise button and it works on dng files.

Love the video... my question is would it be worth trying to straighten the side arches or is that even possible ?

Thanks, Anthony. I haven't done HDR for several years, so it was good to catch up and see how it's done.
I loved the work flow though when you went to the crop tool about 11.00 minutes in, I admit I would have gone for the Transform tool to sort those arches down the aisles out, though some real estate would undoubtedly be lost. How to fix that in LRC would be an interesting topic. 😅

Thank you very much for refreshing. But I do have a remaining question: Doing HDRs, I usually take 5 shots with one f-stop apart (-2, -1, 0, +1, +2) to ensure that the very bright and the very dark parts of a scene are correctly exposed on the corresponding shots.
But... LRs HDR will often combine the image in a way that the overexposed parts of bright objects are used in the composite image instead of the parts of the correctly exposed photo. Photoshop is not doing a better job.
I have tried Photomatrix, which does a better job, but I rather like to solve this problem in LR. What do I have to do?

How do you handle the files that you used to get the hdr? Do you remove them?
