Anthony, does this mean I'll get better results with Photoshop Beta as I already use Lightroom Classic to process all of my photos and I can do it there? I have another question, do you ever do recommendations for photographer as far as new Apple or PC chips are concerned as they are evolving and there's always new offering. For example I'm an Apple guy and currently do all my photo processing on an M1 MacBook Pro with 10 core CPU and 24 core GPU with 32gb of RAM and 1TB of storage. I'm interested in the new M4 chip especially in the new M4 Mac Mini but don't know how much raw processing power I'll need as the M4 chip is much more powerful. I don't know if I'll need the M4 Pro or if the M4 Mac mini would suffice? It would be great if you could do a video helping many of us make this decision. I've been as long time subscriber and am just curious if this would be of interest to you, thanks so much for all you do and here's wishing you a wonderful 2025!
Thank you Anthony for another very clear and well thought out video. I just wanted to offer a quick tip about the brush tool that I don't see anyone mention very often. Rather than using the bracket keys to resize the brush, hold down the Alt key (on a PC, I can't remember the Mac equivalent) and the right mouse button. Then you can easily resize the brush by moving the mouse left or right AND you can change the hardness of the brush by moving the mouse up and down. It's a great time-saver. Happy New Year Anthony.
I would really like to see more advanced mask selection tools on other objects than people, like landscape images, the sea eg. selecting a jetty from the sea etc.
Another fantastic video Mr Morganti, the problem is I watch something like this and then months later, lets say I want to add selective colour to a photo and I then cant remember the steps! I`m a Photgraphy Plan subscriber to Adobe, but I very rarely open up Photoshop because like here on projects you show here I find it non-intuitive, user un-friendly and just a plain scary place to go unless someone lays out the steps to get from A to B!. Anyway, I purchased your Photoshop Unleashed course recently and I`m hoping to start that late January and maybe finally graspI might grasp this incredible piece of software.

Out of curiosity I took a screen shot of the woman in the early part of the video to see how I could do the same "teeth brightening" job in ON1 Photo Raw. It was really easy using the Super Select tool, followed by "Adjustment". This may be beta in Photoshop, but ON1 is no slouch either. My 2c.
Find it amazing that Photoshop is just bringing on features like this. What…years after your app on your iPhone could accomplish the same thing. Photoshop has become so intensely complicated. It’s almost become its own version of dumb.
Photoshop is dying... too greedy and now AI will eat it's lunch. I dumped my subscription the other day. Not worth it anymore. Too bad, they got extra greedy- screw 'em.

Thank you!
Well done. Very clear. I especially liked enlarging screen shots to illustrate your menu selections and settings.
Thanks!

Excellent!

Major cool! Thanks!
I haven’t tried it ( because I didn’t know this style was making a come back ), but it seems like something you could do 😮n Lightroom for awhile.
Sacrée Nouveauté !que j’utilise depuis environ 15ans avec portraits Pro !😅😂
Many many thanks for updating us
Thank you!
Does Adobe plan to phase out LR? A lot of this I do in LR.

You must have a different iPhone than I do!
Agreed. Behind the times for professional use. Programs years old have been able to select and edit easier than ps. Topaz comes to mind.
The newest feature in PS is a price increase! 😢
If you can’t take photographs there are always gimmicks.
This is not on this subject. Have you ever done a video on installing a plugin into Lightroom classic?

I could disagree more. For top photo work PS is still 100% essential.
