    One thing I have noticed in talking amongst my coworkers is the prevalence of pituitary tumors in the area I live, heavy agricultural area, heavy use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides. I have a 7x3 mm pituitary tumor, my prolactin is “slightly elevated ” (according to an arbitrary laboratory scale), my coworkers have all reported similar elevations, several have reported their children have had surgery to remove tumors. I to believe that we’ve put ourselves in this position with adding chemicals to our environment.

    What can you do If you have mild/moderate androgenic alopecia..I had a episode of TE which triggered AGA
    I was on T felt good came off it when I went through TE (TELLOGEN EFFLIUVM ) because I thought it was testosterone.
    Had to wait 9mths to see a dermatologist & he said I had TE & mild/moderate AGA .
    I asked him does this mean I cannot go bk on T ???? He could not answer me 😢
    I was a small dose as I felt good on a smaller dose my bloodwork never showed I had high T.
    Would taking DHT BLOCKER be a solution for me on low dose of T as I am post menupause & have all the symptoms of low T with ostopenian 😢
    I am on BHRT estrogen & progesterone

      Thank you for sharing your experience with us. Androgenic alopecia can be a challenging condition to manage, and it's important to work closely with a healthcare provider to find the best possible solution for your individual situation.
      While it's important to discuss your specific situation with your dermatologist and healthcare provider, some potential treatment options for mild/moderate androgenic alopecia may include topical minoxidil or oral finasteride, both of which work to block the conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone (DHT) which is often linked to hair loss.
      However, it's important to note that taking DHT blockers alongside testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) can have potential risks and side effects, and it's important to discuss this with your healthcare provider to ensure that it's safe and effective for you.
      Additionally, as you mentioned you are already on BHRT estrogen and progesterone, it's important to discuss any potential interactions with your healthcare provider.
      Thank you again for sharing your experience, and we wish you the best in finding a solution that works for you.

    What if you are mid/late 30s, want more children, but T is very low. Can you supplement without messing up natural ovulation? Do cycling women use the same dose all cycle? I don’t want to lose my ovulation- which very low dose DHEA caused me.

    • @balancemyhormones
      @balancemyhormones  4 місяці тому

      It's important to consult with a healthcare professional to find the right balance for supplementing testosterone without affecting ovulation.

    Oral estrogen is used in the US during infertility/IVF treatments. It’s estrodial tablets. They are tough on the stomach so I would use vaginally.

    • @balancemyhormones
      @balancemyhormones  Рік тому +2

      Yes, that is correct. Oral estradiol tablets are one of the forms of estrogen used in infertility/IVF treatments in the United States. However, some women may experience gastrointestinal side effects from taking oral estradiol, and using vaginal suppositories or creams may be a more comfortable and effective option for them. It's worth noting that there are also bio-identical oral estrogen products on the market that may be more gentle on the stomach. Additionally, for those who prefer not to take oral medication, there are other delivery methods such as topical gels like EstroGel. It's important to consult with a healthcare provider to determine the best treatment approach based on individual needs and medical history.

      Hello, it's not a hard and fast rule that your estradiol must be at a specific level before adding testosterone. • @balancemyhormones

      Progesterone in HRT isn't just about protecting the uterus. Even for women without a uterus, progesterone can balance estrogen's effects, potentially reduce certain menopausal symptoms, and may help maintain bone and heart health. It's about overall hormonal balance.
