Decided to put together another one of these for you this week, prepare you for tomorrow's video :). I cover this very quickly in the build video and thought it was worth having the technique explained in it's own dedicated "how to" video. This is my 2nd attempt at one of these so let me know what you think, that last one was received really well. And sorry about all the lame jokes this time... unsubscribed!!

Sorry about all the lame jokes.... unsubscribed!!
Oh, yeah, me too!
Great info vid! Share your knowledge!
Sometimes it's im-paw-sible not to make them.
Your talking now? You've changed.
Yeah this talking thing deserves a......UNSUBSCRIBE!!
If you could do one of these tip videos every day; that would be great. Looking forward to tomorrow's edition.
awesome, thanks for the feedback!
I like the details on how you do what you do. Very innovated and cost effective. Keep them coming.
More of this kind of info, please! Thanks for all the great videos!!
Really cool, thanks for sharing your process!
YES!!! more, please!
They look awesome! Love the tip video concept!
Great stuff, Paul. Going to keep this in mind when I turned legs for a table build in the future.
Nice! I used this for table legs before too, it's perfect
Good tip man I need to start my Lathe journey soon and will keep this one in my tip vault. Also somewhere in Canada a guy is ordering a new laptop because the zipper pull exploded off his pants and broke the screen.
ha! I'll consider that a success then :)
I love how you were able to duplicate those so accurately. Great tips. I know there will be occasions where I will want to duplicate several of something. I think these tips will make it a lot easier. Also glad to see you had a backlog of videos to drop during your move.
Thanks man!! I've got some editing to do, then I can start organizing the new shop!
Getting that closer look at your process was so helpful! Your project video for those tap handles is the first vid of yours I've ever seen but I subbed immediately. Would love to see more of these tips & tricks style videos as well. Thanks for putting out great content.
Thanks Eric and welcome!!
Great info. Thank you for sharing.
Those look really sweet!! Nice information too..
great tip Paul thanks for sharing buddy.
I love efficiency in the shop. Good video. It was very concise and you still managed to tell two jokes in a two minute video. :)
That's a low joke/minute rate for me, I'm disappointed in myself
LOVE the format, didn't go into mass detail in the build video, made it separate and kept it short! As per usual, great video!
Awesome, thanks Troy!!
That was pretty cool!
Those were awesome!
I like the detail/tip video idea. More please!
Too short! Thanks for sharing, you work is top notch!!
Nice!. I will make good use of this fine little tip in the near future, thanks for posting it.
Nice tip bro!
nice tip. I did something similar when I made chess pieces. I made my template out if sheet metal and gave a sharp edge. a light press on the final profile and they were all perfect.
Nice! For something that repetitive it's definitely worth it
Cool. I have seen this kind of thing but your explanation really makes it easy to understand. Now I need a lathe.
That's the first step to the rest of your life :D
Thanks! I might try that sometime.
You're doing a grand job there sir, an extra tip or 3 is never a bad thing.. keep up the good work 😁😁👍🤘
Nice job Paul. Love the joke too!
gosh man, this is just perfect !
thats awesome! I have to duplicate a chair leg and this will help a lot! Thank you for this!
Great tip!
Great video - and hilarious!!
Always wondered about how to do that! :)
Great how-to Paul! - Jim
Well done!!
May your shop always be filled with shavings & sawdust,

The longer you looked at the camera the funnier it got. Good work Paul.
Now the dog lovers will feel left out.... "How's my reception?" "Ruff!".
haha just a couple seconds longer than it had to be, just enough for it to be too much then become funny again :)
I really enjoyed the informative video almost as well as your taste in music Haha keep em coming
Awesome! Thanks man
I actually like videos like this
best joke on UA-cam. I laughed very hard at the face you made. 😂
Yes more of these helpful tips!
+Michael Lippert you got it!
😂🤣😂love it and it was super helpful!!👊👊 lame jokes aside, I broke my foot...🥁😉
I wonder if putting something like engineer's blue on the template as a way to show the high spots would work? No experience with wood turning myself but I'll definitely store this tip for the future, thanks! Would love to see more.
I've kind of tried that but with pencil lead on the template and it worked but wasn't really worth all the effort, just looking through for the light poking through was sufficient for me
I'm totally stealing that "Can you hear me meow" joke for use with my kids.
It's a classic, eh :D
Thumbs up Paul! I'll be looking for more turning tips soon. A few more projects and I'll be ready to fire up my wooden lathe for real! Later, Murph
Awesome! It's a great time, good luck
Love it! Great video. More how-tos! How about one on how you did the epoxy inlay? We'd love to see that process.
P.S. What did the buffalo say to his son when he left for college?
hahaha Bye-son!!! Love it
great jack
great joke and great content☺️
story sticks rock!!
I could duplicate things on my lathe too if I had all those fancy DIY templates! 🤓👍
ha! look at me up in my ivory tower!!
thanks for making me laugh..beautiful tap handles!
pretty clever. What's your timeframe in batching one of those out?
Actually turning them probably only took about 15-20 minutes a piece, but many many hours invested in the epoxy inlay process
How do I order one made with buck eye burl?
i thought you telling a joke was gonna be a CATastrophe turns out it was PURRRRRfect.......RESUBSCRIBED ;) lol
hahaha that joke was for you Jamie!!
you made a joke just for me and not the other 86,999 followers?? BAD FORM!!! UNSUBSCRIBE!!! lol
Can't wait for that refund. Great video for a new turner! Love the vids man!
ha! it's on it's way
that is pretty handy - so simple it might just work.
Nice! I'm all for a bit of learning so carry on good Sir! :-)
Great, you'll learn whether you like it or not! :)
hey! its not Monday isn't it???
tricked you! ;)
I am torn..
Information - YES
Jackman's face - NO
On serious note thanks for knowledge.
we all have to make sacrifices :)
Yes, cool. Short info-grabs. Do more! Jokes accepted.
I'm on it!
I just saw you move out of that shop, what is this black magic?
It'll get even more confusing when I post videos from the new shop and then go back in time again :D
I've sent my $10 rebate form, but couldn't find my receipt. Will I still get my rebate? lol
Well I've updated the address since I moved to DC, new address for rebates is:
1600 Pennsylvania Ave NW, Washington, DC 20500
Great tip! I plan to beat that joke to death too...lol
haha, should have a couple more uses left in it ;)
Does Kyle know about this tap handle "Business". I don't want him sending couple of guys to break your knee caps with a lathe tool.
shhh this is only 6, be does batches of 100 I think.... I'm not there yet but I'm on my way to taking over!! :D
👍👍
Bahahaha...meow... awesome videos
Love lame jokes.
I'm sure I can get lamer ;)
Satisfaction guaranteed or double your purchase price refunded!😂
Exactly! 2 times 0 is still zero :D
lol refunds... The tap handles looks nice, that tinted epoxy inlay looks nice.
I think you meant to say, 'if you don't like my method, write your complaint on the back of a $20 bill, and mail it to.....'.
Calipers? I thought you said no fancy tools, lol
meow, super troopers
+uKNOWuLIKE that meow
How can I get a refund when I didn't pay anything in the first place?! I'm confused. 8)
Sorry, deadline for refund also was before I posted this video... logistics are hard :D
DAMN! Screwed by the MAN again!!! lol
I'm excited to get my refund. 6-8 weeks?
Sorry, deadline to submit for a refund was this past Saturday...
Super mad I had to see your face. Your videos used to be good. Move back to rhode island.
Lol. Great video. Thanks for the tip!
haha I've changed!
I think tips like these are exactly what many of us look for. Great video and very helpful! UNSUBSCRIBED!
Or send those refunds to me, because I still live in Rhode Island, and I will forward them to Paul's new address.
haha return to sender!
Can you spell that address for me? lol
Jokes on you, even if you figure it out I'm not in RI anymore!! ;)
im offended.
Typical millennial!
Turning fungus! Unsub... hangon, i do that too...
"Dear customer, your tap handles have fungus in them" :)
The template wasn't exact. I could see a slight gap, roughly 1/16th of an inch tall or so. Unsubscribe. Sorry for your loss.
UNSUBSCRIBE!! NOT IN RHODE ISLAND ANYMORE
RE SUBSCRIBE YOU GAVE ME A PIECE OF THAT SPALTED BEECH
UNSUBSCRIBE NOT ENOUGH JOKES IN THIS VIDEO
