The guy at the garment district shop who showed her a different tiara had such a good eye. The tiara she came in with looked like something you’d get for a child at a Disney Princess shop but the one he sold her was really unique and elegant. Him and his shop really deserved more credit than the show gave them.
your so right! he deserves a raise so much
I agree!...instead these ppl introduced the shop with horror background music....didn’t expect them to do this!
he is a good seller, she came lookin for only a veil but end up buying also a tiara
Sposabella is great (the shop).
PERiOD
Oh, for Pete's sake!?! The Garment District is literally in the heart of midtown Manhattan. This faux drama over venturing into the area is absurd.
Bad part of town? Lol
Kathleen Henson cfgnPP lo djaiqiaiizbg:
It's about 10 blocks away. A hop, skip and a jump.
frida l she said us too... yikeeees 😒🙄🤐👎🏽
I agree visited NY last year with my elderly mother we walked through the garment district every day to enjoy other parts of the city, enjoyed it didn't know it was a ',bad area' we both felt safe and enjoyed window shopping all the wonderful materials and fabric embellishments, buttons etc. Glad she found a suitable veil.
I liked the shop in the garment district, they were very professional. The three women just looked silly.
Truth. They see a bit of trash on trash day and they feel threatened. I shake my head
Yeah they are the perfect example of beauty without brain.
@@mahseenaaktermeem7973 Sorry, i disagree partly, money, not even beauty. Their beauty is lots of work and fakery and just not my style. But that's my opinion. It's good we all love different types😊
@@monicaclasener High 🖐️
yeah totally
This dress is popular I see. I’ve seen at least 5 people on this show obsess over it and it’s not even all that
I agree. I think its ugly. Didn't flatter her at all
They only push a certain number of Pnina dresses...which in my opinion are tacky. She works in-house. Kleinfeld's is SO overrated
It fits their princess fantasy world and how much it costs regardless if it really flatter her or not
I read your comment before I saw the dress in the video and I knew exactly what dress it was based on your comment alone
I don't get the hype of this dress either
Ngl, her wedding dress with the tiara looks like she’s having a quinceañera
Omg lol she does
Sí.
IKRR
😂
Yessssss
That salesclerk knows how to up-sell 😉 Way to go convincing her to also get a new tiara! Make that $$$
Amanda F Yup, he smelled them a mile away. Kudos to him, I'd do the same thing.
They got on my nerves bigtime.
And plus, people like them can afford it, and don't care about dropping a few grand on something they don't need. They do it every day.
Amanda F He clearly knows Fashion... that tiara she had looked cheap and like something out of a mcdonalds happy meal 😂 His fashion sense made the sale easy 😂
Milli W Agreed! The tiara he suggested was much better suited to her vision. He’s definitely good at his job. 👏 Respect.
Amanda F Amen! Makes me want to go see what goodies are hidden in the NYC thrifty area!
These three women in garment district was just hilarious, they acted like they were going into a bad area. I love gems like this in the garment district, I even bought my prom dress there!
Why the hell is there a horror music in the background when the shop is shown ??
Dramatic shit🙄
I think the producers were low-key making fun of how prissy these women were acting
Lol I was wondering the same thing.
It’s so rude to the owner 😬😬
Because US reality TV.
They're way too dramatic!
Lmao same thing I thought
scripted maybe?
They look like the kind that watches that Kardashian show for entertainment...
@@claudianowakowski definitely.
I used to work in the garment district and this is insane! It's not scary at all!!
Madison Hurley Seriously. Bernadette Banner shops there. Pretty good endorsement in my opinion. Not to mention most design houses, I am guessing?
@Kathleen Henson 😂😂 You sound just as ignorant as those airheads on TV! 😂😂
Nikole Linares Agreed.
@@colleennikstenas4921 Someone else knows Bernadette thank god
Looks cleaner than mines in Downtown L.A..
They act like they’ve never seen a dirty city before. They’re from the Bay Area. We have homeless that reek urine even in fancy San Francisco areas. I wish I could say I enjoyed this SYTD but these women have been spoiled by their money 👎🏽
Mallow07 M Yes because I have visited San Francisco and stayed at a very nice hotel and right outside of it was like skid Row and there was homeless people and piss and needles everywhere!
Actually it wasn't regular garbage, it looks like there was a refurbishment going on. Pathetic.
They're idiots. Plain & simple.
Sometimes when people have a little bit of wealth they like to flaunt it by acting like they’ve never seen the other side of life when in fact they have.
It’s a covert way of bragging without overtly saying “look at me! I’m wealthy”
Money can waste your brain 😄
Major props to the man who sold the veil. He was analytical, had a good eye, and got a tiara that was much classier.
where are they from? 🙄 that they have never seen garbage? 🙄ridiculous. NICE VEIL SHOP I’m Glad to know about that 😁
@Lori Thompson I was thinking that veil shop is a hidden jewel. Must have 100's
I don't think a random toilet and trash bag by the side of the road counts as regular garbage lol. The veil shop was awesome
@@femalehobbitwithhairyfeet yeah, the bride shouldn't be too judgey. The shop gave her a proper headdress and disposed of that tacky beauty pageant crown she was going to wear. She got schooled for sure....
They've obviously never been around a bathroom remodel! That broken toilet on the curb nearly sent them into terminal shock.

Kudos to the owners of this sweet little shop, for knowing just what Bridezilla wanted, and for selling her a proper tiara and VERY lovely veil. The only one of these 3 that seemed remotely normal was the Sister...and even that is a stretch. As the saying goes..."New Money is worse than No Money". Entitlement and no class.
She is hardy a Bridezilla.
@@MrsSlocombesPuddyCat Exactly.
Not a hint of being a bridezilla. I’ve watched her whole episode and she just has the nicest, warm and supportive family and herself as well.

They had one that wanted her dress to match the dogs dress. But she was a total sweetheart and super sweet.

I was expecting them to go fishing through bolts of fabric. Instead, they went to a reputable bridal shop. 💁 Also, making an unembellished veil is like the easiest sewing project ever. I spent around $10 on materials and made my own. Easy peasyyy
Michelle Singh - Easy if you know your fabrics or at least do some research. Don’t laugh but I’ve seen brides try to hot glue embellishments onto netting and finish the edges on chiffon using fabric glue.
@@TheVeggiekat aww live and learn! The nice thing about making veils yourself is that the raw materials typically aren't too pricy. I had some sewing experience but none making a veil. Had I had a more embellished veil, I could easily see making a mistake like that. The hardest part for me was accepting that ivory net looks like butter yellow on the bolt. It doesn't look ivory until you have a single layer of net. The 2nd hardest was cutting the veil. Mine was cathedral length. I ended up having to pin it to a queen size bed so I could round the edges. Came out great, though!
the key is you need to have some skills. Most people these days break out in hives at the thought of using a needle and thread. People won't sew on a button or fix a small rip themselves, let alone make an entire veil.
@@michellesingh735 that's such a genius idea!! I might use that lol
She has 2 weeks for the wedding and will she embark in a silly project???
When you act like that on the Street that is how you get robbed

Maybe her ex-lover works there in some shop and he will identify his daughters
Saw part of this a few months ago. Back then was already raving about the way they act about going to the garment district. It's just a few blocks away from kleinfeld and yet they are acting as if they have to venture into the poorest areas of new york. It's absolutely ridiculous.
Just goes to show that money can't buy class
Now that you pointed out how close they are I bet the show told them to ham it up for dramatic effect.
I wonder if SYTD coached them to say that about the Garment District. It is an unkept secret about how the people in the show are coached to behave a certain way.
Hmm you can walk to the garment district from kleinfelds. It's literally right there 😂😂😂
That’s why the veil is purchased with the dress 🤦🏽♀️
_Who knew that the garment district would be so fun??_ 🙄 really lady get over yourself 🤭
I love how they portrayed the garment district like one store when its actually a district. Smh
They are coming across as very provincial. If they were that wealthy they surely would be familiar with the NY & LA garment districts. Money doesn't necessarily buy you brains and fashion sense.
I mean, for Heaven’s sake. I know what it is to feel out of your element and that NYC can feel intimidating, but this knowledgeable lady would never send them anywhere bad (likely knows a few of the shops!)
The gentleman dealt with them with as much ease and grace as the Employees at Kleinfeld’s. The only difference is the scale is less grand.
(Sigh) I’m glad she found a nice tiara and veil and (hopefully) learned a lesson. Don’t took down on small shops! Mom and Pops often stay open for many reasons: Unique style, attention to detail snd fine quality!
A quality store is one that can point you to another treasure to get what u need
I used to work as a letter carrier years ago on 38th & 7th Avenue in the garment/fashion district. There are many bridal factories and businesses there. I got my wedding shoes for free from a place I delivered mail to. I also got my bridesmaids dresses there and took them to a tailor to have them altered. There are also many costume jewelry places too. Always used to get fliers for sample sales. I really miss that area. Best place to work!
I was laughing the whole time. There's too much drama 😂😂😂 The music and sound effects when they entered the shop... 😂🤣
People are really out here thinking that the garment district is scary😂🤦🏽♀️ They made it seem like it was bad to add drama to the episode. Just shows how TV can really mess with people’s head

What? I work in the garment district as a designer. What do people think the garment district is? It’s literally where most fashion brands are head quartered, like Ralph Lauren (besides their Madison ave offices), Jill Stuart, Calvin Klein, pretty much everyone... too many to list. These days no such thing as a poor part of Manhattan, except maybe the Bronx.
I LOVE THE GARMENT DISTRICT! it’s where you can find EVERYTHING!!!!! 👍🏻
I'm glad they stepped out of the shell, went to the garment district, and had fun.

Finally a positive comment
@@mingfei1622 haha... I was thinking the sme thing.. this comment should get more likes.
I go into the Garment District a lot for work and it is literally one of the safest places in the city. The people working in the fabric shops and random stores are always the nicest people. These women are the definition of bratty and entitled, how dare you mock someone's livelihood by comparing them to a billion dollar store like that!
0:54 "is it over the top?"
Me: idk bt it's surely over-shopped.
Hahahah this was such a cool ending! Shout outs to the store at the end. I’m sure sis learnt her lesson not to judge
They have Santo Niño in the shop, we just had a festival for Him last Sunday here in Cebu Philippines. It was fun. I feel bad when the camera focused on His little statue like it was some kind of a scary thing. I don't like this show anymore.
hearty jane
I feel like they were acting like it was scary to show how way too over the top dramatic these women are lol
I got the feeling that they showed the statue as a way to say, "These women have worked themselves up to expecting all sorts of evil and here is the patron of the shop they are so frightened of-a kindly saint chosen by the good people of the store. What a fuss over nothing these women have made!"
I am not a Roman Catholic but I do know the religious significance of the Sto. Niño in Cebu. So disrespectful.. and also the way they introduced the shop..
LOL I'm a New Yorker and the Garment District is one of my favorite places to look around. All those trimmings and notions and fabrics...
Ok. Ok.
"Oh my gosh, is this it?"
Ladies, you are AT MOST 12 blocks from Times Square and two blocks from Madison Square Garden, smack in the middle of midtown. This isn't even CLOSE to the "bad" part of town. You're fine.
I have never heard anybody call the Garment district a bad part of New York… How sheltered are they?? I love looking at all the shops as they walk by!
Good thing she wasn't at the Bowery back when they were the go-to lamp destination.
The real life mother from "a Cinderella story" and the sisters...
The horror music when they entered the shop........I am howling😂
“oH mY gAwSh. who knew that the garment district would be so fUnN?”
"People come here to buy veils?" - Yes. That would be you!
I ve had almost the same tiara (2nd one) on my wedding day last year with a simple veil and a ball gown, I loved it
It is a beautiful design.
Oh the Garment District, the horror! You need a slap of humility.
As a family friend these are the sweetest people I’ve ever met. When I heard the story About this whole experience about dress and veil they said it was very stressful . They were a family who came from nothing and they are very hard workers. Candace owns a cosmetic company and her sister Cameron owns many companies such as jewelry and clothing. Please stop the hate they are kind, funny, hard working, sweet people.
Such nice people at the shop in the garment district! I would love to see it.
I watched this and then the whole episode. She waited 3 weeks before the wedding to ask for help planning the wedding. She runs her own business on top of her new house being built and a wedding to plan? She thought she could do this herself? Of course you need help! Almost everything was not done yet. Bless her friend because she knew how to get organize and get things done!
"It's not like Kleinfeld's, that's for sure."
That's actually one of the nicer stores I've seen in the Garment District...most stores I've seen are jammed full of fabric with barely any room to move.
1:46 am i the only one that see the calendar was 2015.
'people actually go here to get veils'??
honey, UR going there to get a veil

Their reaction walking down the street was hilarious 😂
Aren't they all just so adorable? So special? Perfect ladies of imagined entitlement.
Rolling my eye until I see the back of brain LOL
I want more shows in this other shop, they seem so nice and they guy had a good eye to give her a different tiara, I'm sure that changed the dress from disney princess to more realistic princess
I could watch a whole series of Say Yes to the Tiara.
"Please don't tell me we're in the Garment District right now"
Gasp "Ohhh myyy gooddd"
*walks into totally normal looking part of the city*
I like how, one way or the other, they showed there are options other than Kleinfelds
Man the tiara from Klienfield couldn’t compare the second one at all! The second one was gorgeous!
You always have a choice! Bridal shops love when someone comes in at the last minute.
@Smileyrie James I was being sarcastic. They love to get someone who has to buy right away. They sell it right out of stock.
"oh my gosh who knew that the garment district would be so fun" literally everyone but you overprotected AirHeads 🙃😒
The “bad part” of that city is like the nice part of the one I live in
It was really nice to see them change their Opinion and Acknowledge they were wrong about where they were sent.I am sure they will also pass this on.
The reaction when they reach the garment district was sooo snobby it was actually disgusting as if they walked into the slums or a shanty town. They walked into a shop that was so helpful and very good at what they do and even offered them champagne. Lesson learned ppl never judge a book by its cover
Kleinfeld just suggested it. You should’ve thought about all this before
I love the lady that asks them if they want wine, she seems so fun!
Geez most of these comments are bashing the bride saying that she's probably a rich spoiled brat, but she seems really sweet in this clip - she's never disrespectful toward the associates/consultants.
Omg I would have loved going to that second store! I love all things vintage and antique and I would have been like a little kid in a candy shop. Does anyone know the address?
Wow, I hope the bride gets a better wig or hair extensions before her wedding, I was waiting for her hair to fall off when they put the veils on her
The shop that sold her the veil was so lovely and they have great taste. The tiara is so much more elegant than what she have. What's with the horror music ! Such a disservice to the store
I love the art deco print on her sister's skirt!
They were really dramatic for the dresses
Say yes to the dress is good show 😁😁😁😁😁😁
the guy was so helpful and nice!

"Who knew the Garment District would be so fun?" -Every costume designer and seamstress, ever.
Yes, the theater keeps them going all these years.
They walked right past that firehouse and made no attempt to pause for any reflection. Wow!
The garment districts of NY and Los Angeles are awesome. What you don’t get is fancy ambiance, and who needs it. I know there are a couple of stores on Maple that only sell bridal things or tiaras.
They all remind me of the stepmom from Cinderella story lol
Why does everyone love that dress in this show!!! I feel like it’s bean over done for the past 5/6 years!!!
That garment shop was beautiful
I love the garment district store very professional and eager to help
Words fail for the level of snobbery that I just witnessed.
