Hey, everyone! A lot of people are saying that this video may not go over all the terms and lingo that you might need if you literally just downloaded the game and opened it for the first time. No need to worry! I'll be coming out with a video going over all of that in the next week or two (hopefully). If you are an absolute beginner, watch his other beginner videos, they will make more sense, I originally brushed this guy off and thought he had a bad beginner video but it was my mistake not realizing he has other videos better suited for absolute beginners, this guy is a great war thunder content creator
Thanks, buddy. That means a lot to me! I'll finish my third video for beginners hopefully next week. I've been working on a 30-40 minute long guide for which nation people should choose for tanks for upwards of a month now, so hopefully that gets released next week, too! We'll see!

Solid tips even for a console player (myself) I usually try to swoop in from a flank to keep myself alive and get some good shots off. I’ve been sittin between 3.0-4 for awhile now

Good vid as usual thx. Squadron would be cool but hard to find a good fit. I play daily ; prop planes and experience countless times when being able to coordinate with a teammate would be beneficial. Sooo sick of WT in game chat. Lol pay attention to the map. Also with prop planes t3 and up you will find that it’s more like 5-6 thousand meters of altitude required for advantage.
Very true! Some squadrons are picky and aren't good but won't let people in. Other squadrons demand you play a ton and only with them. I'm sure you'll find a good fit! Also, that is true about the altitude. I always hated those P-51s and Bf-109 G series planes that would climb to 5km-6km and swoop down and kill me. That's a great strategy, but very annoying to deal with!
as a so what new beginner dont rush for ground forces you will just get shot down faster than ever i seen to many new players rush for it at the start!!!

6 crew slots is a good amount. I do the p47 or best fighter for whatever br I wanna play on the first slot, then my 2 bombers on the back 2 slots. Then I do 3 tanks or ships in the middle if I'm doing that. This a good idea or should I do something different? I quit and come back every now and then and I'm kind of a noob again rn.

nice video thanks, but more for intermediate beginners I'd say. you said one doesn't have to research and buy every vehicle in the tech tree. yeah fair enough but if for example I really want the HO 229 V3, I will have to research AND purchase all of the vehicels leading to it, right? Or am I missing smth
for example, I have an old account, have been inactive for years, now I came back and really enjoy the game, but: I have already researched the Pe-2-359, soviet bomber 5.0 BR and could buy it, but it tells me I have to purchase the previous models, which some of them I still have to research - they were probably included in later patches - and to actually get the Pe-2-359, I would have to buy at least 6 planes for the total cost of 366,000 silver lions... or am I missing something? also, why did the game become pay to win? (camouflage-bushes for tanks exclusivley available for real money)
You reccomend having alot of crew which costs actual money, not onpy that but it disperses xp across so many crews that itll take years for any of the crews to be decent
I have 2Mil SL and they are worthless when it comes to what makes you more competitive. It is and will always be" pay to win". REAL dollars is what it takes to get ahead.

War thunder seems really fun but on a controller with planes it’s difficult i can use mnk but thats not easy too
here's a good tip, if you want to win play russian, if you want to be killed in your own spawn play german. or you can just find a more balanced game to play.

That's entirely up to you lol, my only question so far is "can I make the menu curser move faster" lmao(I'm on Xbox and have the habit of using the sticks over d-pad)

I'm a beginner and i have no idea what you are talking about. This feels like its aimed for people who already know the things you are talking about, such a shame that there is no ingame tutorial apart from the combat one. What this game really needs is a proper clear UI which explains the things. Now its more like excel spreadsheet with no point whatsoever

Hi i started playing 2 years ago but stopped playing because i was tired playing single and dynamic missions because instead of online because my internet was weak then i started playing again 1 year later then stopped again then i started playing 4 months ago again but people are too good
The currency system is what I don't understand, I had 45k and after 1 game i earned 8k and now I have 44k

Depends on what you want! I'd say Germany is probably the easiest to learn with, but Russia and the US have more balanced vehicles. Germany tends to be heavy on firepower vs agility and/or versatility.
Tankenstein sooo i started playing more. And i am playing alot of USSR now because communism and vodka. But how come everyone has the best aim ever but when i finally get a good angle to shoot it says critical hit! Hit! Hit! And then he still survives and does a crazy maneuver and he kills me
@@svenvdv2880 Sometimes you might hit the flaps or gear. Thise say crit hit but it doesnt actually do much. And the hit represents one or some of your shots hitting the enemy plane on a non crit spot.

Every time I get told tips and tricks from most of these its allready shit I know. How the fuck do i stop dieing due to my luck being I have to be jumped by 5 lepords in a heavy t34 that cant evan 1 shot them do to muh op aphe being gone :(
In other words how do I quit being shit. Like practice and all that that u allways get told doesn't do shit like I still get like 1 kill for every 4 vehicles now and it's pure misery. Why can't I go arround having a good time and get atleast 10 kills a game like I did in the first 2 ranks. Evan when i reviset those ranks I'm still shit please help me

what's a BR? what's a silver lion? money? This is not helpful because new people don't know the lingo. You are throwing that shit around like new people know what you are talking about. This is more helpful for people what have been playing for a while but don't understand mechanics of the game
