Bagels are denser, so they transmit more heat than ordinary bread toasted.😎🧐 I'll also add that your vlogs are anything but boring. I love them! I live on my own (children grown up) I don't have any dogs/cats. All I have is (virtual work) Facebook Messenger, Zoom and UA-cam. The Buckleys are a very normal and funny escape into 'real family life'

I have a theory that bagels get hotter than toast because you're holding the "crust" (it's the same for end slices of bread when toasted). The inside is more aerated but the crust is smoother, so there's more hot stuff touching your fingers when you hold it, meaning faster transferral of heat.

It’s because bagels are thicker so they are closer to the heat coils, whereas toast is thinner, thus they remain further way from the heat coils. Sorted.
Local florists the way to go for nice plants and other green things! Also I think bagels take longer to heat, so prolonged exposure might be why they feel hotter when cooked. Also also, no Homesense in our town so guess I’ve not much to look forward to when lockdown ends. 🤣 Hope this week’s curry was bangin’!
