- The mayor of Phillipsburg was thrown out of the Sept. 18, 2018, town meeting. His ejection followed a heated argument with a councilman but he was tossed for talking back with people in the audience.
This is comparable to the village of Carpentersville.
Carpentersville is legendary

The people across the US are sick of being stepped on. Do your jobs or be replaced people are paying attention to the do nothing local government and its about time it changes. We pay you to work for us so get it straight and learn what protect and serve means.
@@StephenKershaw1 many of those officials used their power to get paid under the table and do favors for political Leverage so no. They do get paid.
@@StephenKershaw1 C’mon now Stephen, you really don’t think many of these people “working for the community” aren’t likely getting something for voting for certain things? Some things are steeped in “tradition” and hardly anyone of these people are practicing altruism.
I think the police are to protect and serve. They are hired not elected. You would be a good fit as a member of the audience at the meeting.
It would have been funny at the end where they ask if there is any new business if someone had yelled find a new mayor
