Appreciate your thoroughness. Many folks posting info on swapping or shorting the relays to test them forget to remind others to ** double-check the related fuse ** itself for the circuit in question.

It's best to just use ur horn relay to diagnose & use instead of jumper. Just honk horn & if it works then use that relay

Idk my fuel gauge aint working i bought a new fuel pump cause i thiught it was the pump but still not working the gauge works when i hold down that button for trip a trip b before i start the vehicle. If its resets it. So cluster is good. Im frustrated thinking its wiring.

The fuel pump relay on my sisters focus has nothing in the place of the relay labelled R1 on the fuse box diagram.

Why would my v10 ford cut out and not run after a new fuel pump? Could the module be bad??
Not a proffesional but if you hit anything look for your inertia switch and reset it, check for other fuel pump related fuses usually a 15 amp. also if it cranks but doesn't turn over check your spark plugs, then spark plug wires, alternator maybe your starter and last but not least your coil pack. Three things a car needs are oil, fuel, and spark. If none of that works id check the fuel sender unit which is what holds your fuel pump. Do your best to go the cheapest route and probably wouldn't hurt to borrow an obd2 scanner to check first!
