Especially in light of YT being found out to train their AI on YT videos. And this will come off as hating on her success, but that is not it at all. It would be irresponsible on YT's part to take a channel that was getting great organic growth over the years, and flooding it with viewers and subscribers. And they may not watch their videos that aren't related to their viral video. And the algorithm demotes channels with inactive subscribers. Having a viral video about YT has messed up so many growing channels. There's a reason why the most successful channels almost never make a video about YT. It's a short term boost for YT, but it harms years of hard work and progress.
UA-cam is a good data bank for memories, Free Cloud data storage. I think small youtubers are really becoming stressed out due to the success of others and that sometimes we forgot why we started our channel at the 1st place. Lets always revisit the whys and dont let other peoples success really affect us, we will experience that success someday too, not only in youtube. 😊

@@busybeingcryssi They forget that if you're not consistent enough for your audience, they will eventually unsubscribe/unfollow, forget about you, only check up every few months and then move on. Even the UA-camrs who post once a month or once every 3-6 months may be able to keep that up for a couple years, but eventually it'll fall down. You see lots of UA-camrs who were super popular (1M+ followers/subscribers back when that amount was huge and meant something) from 2010-2019 are now nobodies and their videos will get a small fraction of views like they used to get.

Like u left the people that got you to wear u are. Being consistent shows u care.

I started my digital footprint because I wanted to leave a legacy for my family. The thought of my great grandkids learning from my content when I'm not around excites me . Getting paid from it is a bonus. Fortunately we do get paid from our content but legacy is what made me start ! Salute to you and keep going . Thank u for sharing your journey and your authenticity.
This is so real. My students found my UA-cam page and I stopped posting because they wouldn’t leave me alone about it. I often think about where my channel would be if I never stopped. 😭 This video will be my motivation to get back at it.
I wasn't even posting for real and my students found mine 😭. They brought it up trying to be slick and I told them that I'm glad they confirmed they knew how to use the app so well, so now we'll be doing a UA-cam project. They stopped bringing it up after that 😂😂😂😂

The whole people finding your stuff online is so annoying. Like Insta starts 'recommending' your stuff to everyone in your contact list. I don't need people I know irl to have my posts pushed on them. The whole point of me starting a new account is so I can start fresh instead of being held to outdated expectations
You would definitely be surprised to see how much people who do UA-cam automation are using some other online services to helps them grow their channel (I am also using a bit of Famester). Even the most popular creators out there are using similar services, so I also decided to do it on my own... I thought why not, and honestly I doubt I would be successful without it.
I'm starting to understand that no matter how big or small of an audience, there is going to be people that resonate with your content. Your story is my story. That is why starting a youtube channel is still a "vision" on my vision board from 2022. It is content like yours that help inspire people to stop overthinking and just start.

I just started my channel to document my multiple passions and life views. I'm ignoring the stats now, and focusing on taking baby steps. I've only put out sorts for now. But so far so good. Especially as someone with many passions, having a channel where I can visually dump what is on my mind, as well as be creative, is a nourishing process. I’m in my 30’s and started a month ago 😂😂, had been putting it off for over a decade. And honestly I wish I had started sooner. Only get a couple views atm but the journey of it is so enjoyable. I love the art of creating. There’s a reason they say ‘just start’ because it’s surprising how everything just starts to flow and you get the hang of it. I’m focused on developing my craft and improving each time. I know this is for me and God will take me where I need to go.

I found this video absolutely fascinating. One, because it really doesn’t have anything to do with it. I would normally watch, or my niche itself. But it did speak to an issue that was right on point. I have also been on UA-cam for a while, and my growth hasn’t been explosive, but my audience is very organic. People who have subscribed once to really engage in my UA-cam community, and for that I’m thankful. But the other thing that was very interesting the introvert part. Now I don’t get that too much, only because I’m a flaming extrovert. But I do know the bravery it takes for an introvert to do UA-cam or put themselves as in a creative space. so for that reason, I appreciate the video, and that is out there for others who also have very interesting and important things to say, but we may not get to see it because of their reluctance to put themselves out there. I sat on the sidelines for years, and finally jumped in and started posting, picked up a few viewers, but wasn't consistent. Last year I thought about how much fun I had recording my garden and sharing pictures, knowledge and videos of my garden, so I just jumped in with a monthly challenge(didn't make it through the full 30 days), and picked up 1 or 2 subscribers a week. The challenge was really fun, unfortunately I got sick and had to cut the challenge short. But yeah....just start, have fun and your tribe will find you. Much success to all of y'all!

Needless to say, I can relate to all that you've said. I've just recently started three channels, ((neglecting two other that I started over the last two years so now a total of five😅)) one of which is a daily diary and...the topic for this morning is Consistency. This could be a long message, anyway don't look back and dwell on the "What Ifs" too much. As an older person, I tend to do that sometimes. I too am documenting my life on UA-cam. Totally feel the same. Started my channel in '14, was excited for the first year then got sidetracked with excuses. I agree it's a creative outlet and 10 years later I still shoot but haven't created new videos. Three years ago I got sick and again last year. It has been a tough road to get back into uploading content, so viewing your video tells me there are others who think this way. I ditto your thoughts about the "diary" concept. I really do feel this is why I started my channel. The digital format for me is like a photo album or DVD in your home that is there for visitors to see what your family is like or the environment you live in. The only reason I can see that you don’t have a massive following that you should definitely have, is you seem to have started and stopped posting videos on UA-cam. If you are not consistent, the algorithm will not recognise your content (no matter how beautiful).

I started my digital footprint because I wanted to leave a legacy for my family. The thought of my great grandkids learning from my content when I'm not around excites me . Getting paid from it is a bonus. Fortunately we do get paid from our content but legacy is what made me start ! Salute to you and keep going . Thank u for sharing your journey and your authenticity.

You would definitely be surprised to see how much people who do UA-cam automation are using some other online services to helps them grow their channel (I am also using a bit of Famester). I just started my channel to document my multiple passions and life views. I'm ignoring the stats now, and focusing on taking baby steps. I've only put out sorts for now. But so far so good. Especially as someone with many passions, having a channel where I can visually dump what is on my mind, as well as be creative, is a nourishing process. I’m in my 30’s and started a month ago 😂😂, had been putting it off for over a decade. And honestly I wish I had started sooner. Only get a couple views atm but the journey of it is so enjoyable. I love the art of creating. There’s a reason they say ‘just start’ because it’s surprising how everything just starts to flow and you get the hang of it. I’m focused on developing my craft and improving each time.

I found this video absolutely fascinating. One, because it really doesn’t have anything to do with it. I would normally watch, or my niche itself. But it did speak to an issue that was right on point. I have also been on UA-cam for a while, and my growth hasn’t been explosive, but my audience is very organic. People who have subscribed once to really engage in my UA-cam community, and for that I’m thankful. But the other thing that was very interesting the introvert part. Now I don’t get that too much, only because I’m a flaming extrovert. But I do know the bravery it takes for an introvert to do UA-cam or put themselves as in a creative space. so for that reason, I appreciate the video, and that is out there for others who also have very interesting and important things to say, but we may not get to see it because of their reluctance to put themselves out there. I sat on the sidelines for years, and finally jumped in and started posting, picked up a few viewers, but wasn't consistent. Last year I thought about how much fun I had recording my garden and sharing pictures, knowledge and videos of my garden, so I just jumped in with a monthly challenge(didn't make it through the full 30 days), and picked up 1 or 2 subscribers a week. The challenge was really fun, unfortunately I got sick and had to cut the challenge short. But yeah....just start, have fun and your tribe will find you. Much success to all of y'all!

I've just recently started three channels, ((neglecting two other that I started over the last two years so now a total of five😅)) one of which is a daily diary and...the topic for this morning is Consistency. Totally feel the same. Started my channel in '14, was excited for the first year then got sidetracked with excuses. I agree it's a creative outlet and 10 years later I still shoot but haven't created new videos. Three years ago I got sick and again last year. It has been a tough road to get back into uploading content, so viewing your video tells me there are others who think this way. I ditto your thoughts about the "diary" concept. I really do feel this is why I started my channel. The digital format for me is like a photo album or DVD in your home that is there for visitors to see what your family is like or the environment you live in.
