I love that Robert continues his dad's legacy. He's less intense than Steve, but still carries the same enthusiastic spirit. It's comforting to watch. His dad would be very proud.
Exactly. He has inherited a little more of his mothers common sense. And I don't mean that as an insult to Steve. Just that I think Robert thinks things through in beforehand, a bit more. But not always. Sometimes he is just as impulsive as his dad.
Honestly I think Robert Irwin is he’s own person, I’m glad Terri Irwin is such a great mother who brought up beautiful and fantastic kids. She aged gracefully.
@@alelireds8613 Maybe he should be doing exac6tly what his dad did and acting like him then? He's coasting on his father';s legacy and it's painful to see, he just doesn't have the same passion and charisma that Steve had.
He is becoming that each day. It would be aweful if he tried to be exactly like (clone) of Steve. I bet Terri and Robert had many talks about this. Best advice from mom, be yourself. And that he has done.

No No No Andrea he's keeping what his father built alive but he's his own man who's had his life and own achievements beyond just being a replacement copy of his dad.

The wife is strong to let him knowing how the ocean took someone she loves already. Growth and strength I crockin!
Wow Robert your amazing. I feel old at 38 having watched you grow up from a baby through your dads show. When you narrate footage you sound so much like him. RIP Steve
When Robert gets excited over something he doesn’t get as loud and rambunctious like his dad. He’s a lot more soft spoken, but still talks with passion.
I love how he is genuinely surprised by how strong the shark was. "That was nuts." Like yes its a SHARK. But I also love how excited he is to be in the water and see his first shark. I would have been out of there so quickly.
love how happy and positive this young man is, just like his Dad away was, excellent attitude and love watching him following in his fathers footsteps, cheers from Canada
I bet it's hauntingly wonderful for ur mom to watch you.. we all still miss and love ur crazy dad. Please don't take as many risks but have fun. Thanks for continuing to show us all the animals that ur dad loved so much!
Wow Terri has so much inner strength. It would have been really hard for her to see her son go in the ocean and doing something like this. She would have been praying hard that everything went well and didn’t have to face another loss.
he is the absolute image of his dad. full of love for all kinds of animals. such a catching charisma. you wana listen to him all day. stay safe and keep on doing what you love. dad will always look over your shoulder mate.
What a great fellow, Robert. I was born in 2006, so I was never old enough to get to know his Father, Steve, but from everything i've heard and seen he was just wonderful. Robert is so in love with animals and protecting them and teaching others, its so beautiful to see honestly. I hope I can have the honor of meeting him someday, he's a great inspiration!

He has a show. It’s called Crikey it’s the Irwins. It’s on Animal Planet. They have just streamed their 4th season. It’s amazing to see him grow so much during the last 4 years as he’s taken on more roles in the zoo and with the conservation
Robert remind me his father. Steve Irwin gave me the love of the wild and now im watching Robert being exactly the same as his father. Never change Robert i hope you can give to my childs what you dad give to me

His father would be so proud of him and you can tell Terry is proud of him but also nervous for him as his mother and as such a caring woman.
I had flashbacks to when I’d watch his father on TV! It’s like watching someone (an actor) playing a role. It’s so great to see him carrying on his father’s legacy of conservation and education and I’m glad he’s doing it in his own style. It all depends on how you look at it. As part of a super tight, and very loving family, I’d imagine Robert would be very proud to live in his Fathers shadow, as you call it. I think many would disagree, Robert is his own person and has many fans due to being Robert Irwin and not Steve. Robert I have a wish for the Irwin's to reach out to the UA-cam birdtricks in the USA. Would be a awesome collab. The work they do with parrots is amazing. To see a macaw in free flight !!!
In comparison to saltwater crocodiles, white sharks are gentle giants, at least where their general behaviour towards humans is concerned. They don't really see humans as worth eating.
Roberts just like his Dad, great communicator with loads of charisma with his love of animals shining through.
