First of all, I must say that all these activities are amazing and inexpensive. My baby is 10 months old but he puts everything in his mouth. So how can I engage him in these activities when he engages everything in his mouth 😂

Aap jitna unse baat karoge khelte khelte wo utne words learn karege.. jab bh unse activities karao unko poora process mei baat karte raho... Like
1. ohhh see you are pouring..
2. Wo red car kaise jaa rahi hai
3. Uske upar ye rakhdi
4. Ye kitna soft hai
Etc etc
In short aap unse aise baat karo k wo sab samaj rahe hai and aap ek bade se baat kar rahe ho ... But don't force nd take tension wo apne hisab se seekh jayege ..

Hey Mommies.. these activities are for 8 months and plus.. even when Viyaan was 16 months old he used to enjoy them.. Activities you must always keep on rotation.. so that they don't loose interest.. nd can master them in different ways at different age..
I love your video it's very helpful but my kid can't response to that when I put potato masher and rubber bands in front of him he just take masher and play with it rubber band in another hand and just through them how can I teach them please help me..
You can model and show.. give some time.. and if you think he is not ready then reintroduce after some time.. don’t force .. happy parenting 😊

My baby girl is 8 months and she started crying if she doesn't reach to the object she wants and become cranky, to hume khud hi use wo samaan Dena padta hai, she is least interested in playing

That’s ok .. keep some patience.. may be you can do a basket activity with her .. keep a basket (not too deep) full of small toys in front of her and let her take them out and she might throw them around .. it’s same like that pillow cover one..
later you can try with her to keep them back.. It will take time don’t be in any rush.. this video is for 8months+ so even till 1 year and may be after also they can enjoy 😊

Hi mam...one question I too have fridge magnets n my babies instead of playing try to put them in their mouth n due to chocking hazard I avoid this activity
You hv to be around while they play..also the size of the fridge magnets should be big enough.. also no compulsion..just avoid what you don't feel comfortable

In this video my kid was 9.5 months old but there were activities that he used to enjoy as 8 months old and some activities he used to even do when he was 13 months old..
so the idea is to just try and see when our baby is ready and interested in certain activities.. there is no strict game for any age.. as every child is different 😊 hope it helped ☺️

Yes that's there general behaviour.. as that's how they try to understand their environment.. all you need to do is stop him gently and tell it's for playing not to put in mouth..if he continues then stop the activity and put it away..it will eventually set the cue.. also try to find something that will interest him..
Do check our other videos on fine motor skills .. it has activities like pen in bottle that is engaging..

Wo apne surroundings ko explore karne ki try kar raha hai.. aap tension mat lo k wo koi activity nahi kar raha.. aap uske interest k hisab se activity choose karo.. usse agar throw karna pasand hai to ek bad mei ya pillow cover mei bohat sare toys bhar do and usko nikalne ko de do.. uske same pillows ka. Mountain banake usse aane ko bolo.. aap mera sensory play wala video bh dekh sakte ho.. so usse thode se aate se khelne ko de sakte ho but under supervision 😊 Baki bachpan hai usse bh enjoy karne do aur aap bh enjoy karo 💗

These activities are for 8 months and above . That is I have covered for 8 to 12 months..
So if you are looking particularly for 8 month old,then let me brief out for you:
1. Peekaboo
2. Climbing the Mountain (will encourage crawling) or you can put some favourite toys a little far to make him crawl towards it.
3. Music
4. Sensory bins (check our video on sensory plays with rice or water or homemade sand) but please make sure you are around and watching and not letting baby to eat that.. Sensory play is very good for their brain development.
5. Finger painting or hand painting with homemade safe paints or just give beetroot juice .
6. What's in the pillow

Also don't forget dancing, clapping, singing, rhymes (u can use Alexa) and reading books to them .
Reading is something that we started very when he was 7 months old . That's an early habit to inculcate .

Hmmm that's the problem with every baby.. taste is one of their Sensory experience.. nd they intend to taste everything..
1. Gently ask them not to.. hold their hand gently and stop them from eating.
2. Try not to give sudden reactions or screaming..this will excite them and they might do it again to gain your attention.
3. Try to distract them, by talking about a particular toy in the play.
4. If they are adamant and continue to do so, just call it off for the day, giving them a cue that if they will eat this they won't get to play( u should say : so I guess u don't want to play right now.. it's ok we will try again later.. it is ntl for eating but for playing)
This is a gradual process, we need to be patience..
Also u can just keep the toys very clean, before playing so that even if they put it in mouth then u don't hv to worry for any infection ☺️

That’s a phase .. every kid does it.. they are trying to explore the world around.. you need to sit along and start playing. They will copy you.. if she puts in mouth then gently tell her it is not for eating but for playing and show how to do.. if she still continues then take the game away and tell only for playing .. and try after a break of few days ..
