Second piece from this forgotten composer to the Channel. Max Oesten was born in Berlin, the son of the German composer Theodore Oesten. He spent most of his professional life as a church organist in Königsburg (not Köningsberg).

I was fascinated to hear this attractive composition Rien. I have only two pieces by Max Oesten and actually played one as a postlude last Saturday which I had not played since 2019 called 'Festival Music'. I had never known anything about him, so thanks for your information.
