Just got this race suit today. Couldn't be happier! Brian's video sold me on it and his sizing insight was spot on. Without the video I would have bought a size 46. Based on Brian's advise I bought a size 44. And it fits PERFECT! Thanks guys!
Thank you for the order and I am happy to hear the sizing advice was helpful. Enjoy the new suit! - Van
1:40 - I love this brother thank you!!! "And to be able to stand up in it, that is a Blessing!" Nice one brothers
The cut of the RST race suits make them one of the best options for riders here in the US. - Van
I bought shoes RST TracTech EVO III with your recommendation and I was not disappointed
Thanks for sharing your feedback. - Van
Just got mine delivered an hour ago. I ordered medium going off what size you were wearing in this video and the fit was on point for my build (5'6" 165 lb). I thought about buying a Sedici suit from Revzilla or Cyclegear because it was in my price point but I'm so glad I upped my game with the RST. The quality from a good brand and sub $500 is a win win. Thanks for making the video and dropping the price. Can't wait for my first track day on my R6.
Happy to hear you like the suit. This is a much nicer than the Revzilla/Cycle Gear house brand Sedici. - Van
Hey I’m aiming to do a track soon I’m around the same height and weight 5’5 and a half and weigh 155 to 160. Exactly what size did you order?
Great videos. Prepping for my first track day next year and had no idea a one piece at this quality could have a such a good price.
Definitely going to consider this. Thanks
You are welcome. This is 100% the way to go if this is the price point you are shopping in. No better suit at or around this price. - Van
I own the two-piece Hi-Viz RST Tractech Evo R suit, and the RST Tractech Evo 3 boots, and they are very well made designed. I would've bought it from Sportbike Track Gear, but I really wanted the Hi-Viz color so I ordered it from the UK. I did have to wait a long time for my order from the UK. Once you get in one of these, you will be very impressed. I use this on the streets, because I want a quality suit that will protect me from mishaps, and within my budget, and this meets the bill. I hope to eventually do track time in the near future, and plan to use this gear for that someday. At the time I bought my gear (Jan. 9, 2020) I bought the three piece for $512.32. I'm happy that Sportbike Track Gear is offering the RST brand here in America, because they're often overlooked, because people will look for Dainese, Alpinestars, and the other brands--but they're at least $800 and more for a quality suit. This is a great buy, and the armor protection is all included (back, shoulder, elbow and forearm, hips, knee and knee sliders). You can't beat the price for quality. Here is my gear for reference:
- Jacket: www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/motorcycle_parts/content_prod/364020
- Pants: www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/motorcycle_parts/content_prod/364311
- Boots: www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/motorcycle_parts/content_prod/366550
If Sportbike Track Gear has the size and color you need, these are a perfect buy for the next riding season (for some of us who live in the Midwest where it's 25*F to 40*F).
Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback. We plan to add more RST street gear to our catalog in 2021. - Van
Bought this suit in Black and white, it is super comfy and really well made. I'm around 5"10/11 and around 190lbs, the euro size 46 was perfect for me.
Thank you for sharing your feedback! - Van
Love your videos...the descriptions are just stright for everything...keep going !!
thanks

Absolutely love your videos 👍 been watching them here in the uk and thanks to this video and previous ones ive just ordered a tractech evo 4 suit and evo 3 boots thanks to you guys 😊 keep up the good work 👍

Thank you for great video! helps me a lot to pick right size 44/54!
You are welcome, happy to help out. - Van
Thanks for the good informative videos. I learnt so much from you. Great Videos !!!
You are welcome and thank you for watching! - Van
I have literally bought this suit from a UK dealer in a UK size 46 (Euro 56 I believe?). I'm 198lbs 6ft 2inches tall with 34 inch waist and a slim build. I'm now regretting buying it because after 30mins of wearing it, it hurts all over the tops of my shoulders and neck area.
I've watched your videos and they're massively informative, I realise that it's cut to be worn in the riding position as you would on a trackday but I can't see me wearing this all day. An hour after taking it off, I was still hurting.
I'm hoping it just needs breaking in a little. When I'm standing it, it's tight around the crotch area, however when I'm crouched, it feels fine apart from the pains from the neck and shoulders area. I daren't go one size bigger as it will be too baggy on the arms and legs.
Anyway, you get the idea, do you think this needs breaking in? Any tips on how to do this? I would have gone to the dealer to try stuff on but due to Covid restrictions here, that's not happening at the moment.
I am 5' 11" 200 and wear one size smaller than you are wearing. The 56 should fit you and be pretty comfortable. Odds are it will feel better after it breaks in for you. As you noted this is meant to be in the riding position more than the standing position. - Van
I am considering getting either this suit, or the R sport i think it is (the one replacing the 18). I sent email asking about sizing, and Mr.Goodwin replied. I am roughly 5'9 1/2, about 150 lbs (maybe lil over), chest is 37 to 38, waist about 32-33. He recommended the 40/50 and pointed out that RST suits are made little broader than say Alpinestar (i am drowning in mine, 42/52). But point being, STG staff are helpful. Keep up good work as well Mr.Van 👍🏻
Thank you for watching and the feedback. We are proud to have Will on the team here at STG. - Van
RST is making top quality item for very good price.
You will not find a brand that delivers more value than RST. - Van
This is looking like it might be the move for me as I'm looking to do my first track day this year or next year and don't want/need to spend 1k right now on a race suit. I signed up for the in stock alert too.
We have 400 + RST suits on the way to us now. No better value IMO. - Van
Would this be overkill for street riding i always thought full suits look cool
To be fair the street can be more dangerous than the track so no. - Van
Awesome suit, I'm 190cm/95kg with 38" waist, 34" inseam with some beer belly. I ordered size 58 euro. Hopefully it will fit me? Will it be too loose? I had a Berik suit in 56 and it was too tight...
I feel like the 58 is the right choice for you. Please let us know how you like the fit when you receive the suit. - Van
Hello, confused about sizing since i returned my alpinestars because it was to long.
Im 177cm tall and weigh 87kg, 86cm waist, 123cm chest - athletic build :D hope you can help me - looking at the evo 5 suit
We can best help if you reach out directly. Please shoot the team an email on orders@sportbiketrackgear.com and they will get you all sorted out. - Van
Informative video. I’m actually going for the newer evo 5 model but not sure about size whether its 50 or 52 for me at 5’10”, 180 lbs 34” waist. Appreciate your input, thanks brian!
I would suggest a size 54 Euro for you in this suit. - Van
@@sportbiketrackgear you’re a 5’11” 200lbs and wear a 54, so shouldnt i go for 50/52 instead?
@@sportbiketrackgearwhat size waist / chest are you?
i really love the video what would you recommend to me? 5'7 85-90kg ? what size should i go for?
I would put you in the 54 Euro for this suit. - Van
Very happy with mine - 2 track days and it's working great. Question - is there a downside to removing the liner - I wear base layers and I find it knots me up a little (it's VERY hot here).
If the armor is attached to the shell of the suit and not in pockets in the liner (sorry I do not have one in front of me now) you could remove the liner and just use your base layer. Personally I would just leave it in. This suit has a ton of perforation and I do not feel removing the inner liner would really do much to make things any cooler than they already are. - Van
@@sportbiketrackgear Thanks - I bought an AS Back protector from you guys too - but I'll take a look - it's more about the liner tangling than the heat but it's a minor thing - great product, great channel and I'll be back for more stuff soon - thanks for the reply.
Looking at this suit and can’t figure out the size. I’m 6’0 185. 40” chest, 33” waist but have really long legs and arms, so would a 44 be the best size??
I would put you in the 44, you should get a good fit. If you need any more help please email the team at orders@sportbiketrackgear.com - Van
Tried one on earlier, felt perfect everywhere except for on the crotch area, felt TIGHT when stood up. Perfectly comfy while on a bike though..
The suits are cut to be on the bike and not standing up in. If they make the suit more comfortable to stand up in there will be too much extra material when you are on the bike. - Van
when are you guys getting the tractech evo 5?
We are not. We have the RST STG EVO 4 One Piece Leather Race Suit made specifically for us and have it priced at $519.95. This is an amazing deal and very similar to the 5. - Van
Hello Mr. Van
Can you please also test the new RST Race Dept. V4.1 Airbag ?
Seems to be a fantastic suit for 899 £ 😎
We will be doing that later next year when they RST is able to send them to the US. Some legal snag right now. - Van
👍
Sup Van , like always another great informative video , thank u. I have a question , what do you think about the Sedici Palermo One-Piece Race Suit ?
Sedici is a Revzilla / Cycle Gear house brand. I have seen some of their stuff in the past and was not impressed. Not sure what this one looks like. What I can say is the only reason to have a house brand is to make more margin as a retailer. Comparing a house brand to a real brand like RST or Alpinestars you lose the passionate product development behind the brand.
I would be very surprised to see any of the Sedici suits as good as the RST. - Van
@@sportbiketrackgear Right on Van , alright I’m gonna look into the RST. Thanks bud !
Hi... Great detailed video, clearing all the doubts. I'm planning to buy a RST suit. I'm 5'8 and 80kgs. Should I go for a 42 US size. Please share your inputs.
I would put you in a 42 US to start for sure. Should get a good fit. - Van
Hi, i'm 5'10, 155lbs (planning to gain 10 more...), 41" chest, 33" waist, athletic build. Should i stick to size M/42 or get a L/44?
I would put you in a 42 US if you plan to put on another 10 lbs. - Van
I was wondering if the same suit can be worn by women. I have not seen RST make one in women sizes. So was wondering if that would be possible. BTW, love your content!
Not a reason this suit can not be worn by a woman if it fits well. - Van
@@sportbiketrackgear Thank you so much! :)
How does this suit compare to the R-Sport you did a review on? You also said it was nice and they are similar in price. Also, I am 5’9 about 150lbs. You think I should go with a size 42 or 40?
I would go with the 40 over the 42 for sure. This suit is an improvement over the R-Sport and is worth the extra spend if you can swing it. - Van
@@sportbiketrackgear I’ve had inseam 30 pants before that were too tight in the the crotch area. According to the sizing chart a 44 is when the inseam gets longer. The suit as a whole would fit better being a 40 but do you think I would have a problem with the 40 inseam then? I don’t want it to be tight especially when I’m riding I would think it rides up on you a little bit?
I’ve just bought this exact suit, however I’ve bought it in a 40 and find that it’s bunching up slightly around the groin when in position on bike, not like yourself when on yours. However the sag on the backside does go. It’s tight, but not as tight as my Frank Thomas was but that was insanely tight. Would you say a 38 would probably be better to take out the sag? I’m 5’9 and weigh about 168 pounds approx. Thanks in advance
A 38 US in this suit fits more like a 40 US IMO. I would give that a shot and see how you feel about the fit. - Van
Can you do a review on the rst sabre leather jacket and the rst tractech 4 lesther jacket ? Thanks for the good content :)
We will have both of these done early next week. Jackets are in stock here now. - Van
@@sportbiketrackgear thanks guys means a lot ❤️
Im Still confuse on sizing of RST base on your vids. Im 52eu on Alpinestars racefit. Where should i go on RST size? Thanks and nice comments on RST
Chest 102cm
Waist 89cm
Hip 92cm
Thigh 65cm
Inseam 70cm
Outer Arm 60cm
Height 170cm
Weight 174lbs
I would go with a 52 Euro in the RST as well. - Van
When are you guys restocking these?
They are on the boat headed here now. Hope they land soon. - Van
love the videos. .great content
I'm 6'3", 200lbs would this suit off the shelf be ok for me with 33 inch inseam? or go full custom
I would suggest a size 54 Euro for you in this suit. At 6' 3" there is no need to go full custom IMO. Thank you for watching and the kind words. - Van
@@sportbiketrackgear
Just for a bit of info, I'm 90kg(198lbs) 6ft2" and I couldn't fit in the euro size 54. I couldn't breathe properly when the zip was fully up. So I had to order the next size up. Hopefully the size 56 will fit.
@@mickl8212 Did you get a size 56? How did it fit?
can the level 1 armor in elbows knee etc be upgraded to level 2? (i saw the level 2 was on there website but i doesnt say if you can swap the level 1 for 2)
You can swap the level 1 for level 2 if you prefer. IMO there is not any major benefit to this. I have crashed several times in level 1 stuff and it always did it's job. - Van
@@sportbiketrackgear good to know thank so much for the reply , top man 👍
British engineering at its best
We are proud to offer RST and patiently waiting on a very large shipment that is delayed. - Van
Know which brands of limb armor will fit if we wanted to bump up to 2?
I have crashed in a lot of suits, all of them had level 1 armor. Based on what I see here in this suit I would not spend the money to make any changes. If you still want to you could use some Forcefield level 2 stuff. - Van
I bought a tracktech evo R suit earlier this year(size 44). It's just a little too tight. Looks like it's painted on. Would the same size in this suit give me some extra room? (6' tall, 195lbs, 33in waist, athletic build )
The fit of this offers a little extra room for me. We are pretty much the same size so you would get the same fit I am getting from the 44. For me this suit would require almost zero break in and is super comfortable. - Van
Hi there. My name is Lee and I live in the UK. Just discovered your videos and they are awesome. I'm thinking about getting this suit. I'm 5"10/5"11, 36" chest, 28" waist and I weight around 126 pounds. I know they do this suit in a 38 and 40. Which one do you think will fit better.
I would go with the 38 Euro for you. - Van
Hey Van - how do you think this would fit me a 6’5” with 34 inside leg? I usually wear 56 in Alphine and Dainese. I feel like RST are usually a bit short, length wise.
Some of the Alpinestars suits offer a little more length so they can work out a little better for taller riders. That said I do not feel this suit is overly short in the arms and legs. I would give it a shot, you can always return it if you do not like it. - Van
@@sportbiketrackgear thanks for your input! Will have to give it a shot, suit shopping for the 2021 season.
Van, what’s the deal with chest measurements differing from say the size 40 Cortech Adrenalline I currently use? I’m 5’9” 173 lbs, 40” chest and 36” at the belly. I’d like to try one of these but haven’t made sense of the size chart versus what I know of my current suit.
In other words, the chest cut seems to be much roomier than what I’d anticipate for the given size.
I would put you in a size 52 Euro in this to get a fit that would look a lot like the one I get from the 54 euro. If you want more operating room go for the 54 Euro. - Van
Ignore the size chart, I answered the first comment. - Van
Ordered from you. Thanks!
Will there be a similar 2-piece version?
No there will not be a 2 piece version of this suit available. - Van
Hi , i’m 6 feet 4 inches and my weight is 213 lbs . What size gonna be the best for me . Grtzz
I would suggest a 56 euro/46 US for you in this suit. - Van
review some dainese gear please!
Sorry we used to offer Dainese but had too many problems to continue. As a company they are very difficult to deal with so we decided to stop offering their gear. The reality is there are items from other manufacturers that are far easier to deal with that are as good or better than any Dainese item. - Van
Lotsa perfs in this video! 😂
This is an amazing suit for the money my friend. - Van
RST have dealers in USA? where can I buy it?
Just click on the link below the video!

Do you guys have this suit in white?
We have several colors on the way to us now that we hope will be here in the next couple of weeks. White is in that shipmenet. - Van
@@sportbiketrackgear Thank you for the response!

We are doing it for $499 here at STG. www.sportbiketrackgear.com/rst-tractech-evo-4-one-piece-leather-race-suit/ - Van

Even before trying to watch vance hyperventilating with this very Amature so-called review , I'll bet it's Recycled Plastic Bottle Zippered equipped.
I have owned and ridden in more suits in the last twenty years than I can count. In addition to that my company has sold thousands of race suits over the years. If you think you have more experience and feel you can do a better job grab your camera and get busy. - Van
