My suit will be arriving in a few days. I was riding in the RST racetec evo r but lost some weight and muscle ( not intentionally) so I was kinda of swimming in it. Perfect timing with the STG EVO 4 suit to become available. Can't wait to get it and get back to the track.

I'm wanting to order one of these suits but I'm not sure if my size is in stock it looks like a lot are sold out. I've found a couple other websites with them but you guys seem legit. I'm 5'9 185 pounds for sizing.

I saw you guys got in the V4.1 Definitely looking forward to the review of that suit. How's the comfort compare on the V4.1 to the Pro? It looks like the Pro with the 4 way stretch might be the more comfortable option. I really wish they would have used those stretch panels on the V4.1
They are both excellent but the 4.1 offers a little more flexibility. Not a massive difference between the two but there is a difference. - Van
Could I use this to ride/commute in the street every day? I have a cruiser now but will be getting a sport bike later. I wanted to know if this would be comfortable with forward controllers or is only for sporty riding positions? Thanks for any help.
If you want to wear this on the street to have a higher level of protection I do not see any reason you could not do that. - Van

How does this compare to the sedici corsa/chicane which is in a similar price range
This is 10x the suit compared to the Sedici brand. The RST stuff is so good I have my Son Max racing MotoAmerica in it. - Van
Can you pair it with an airbag under vest? And would you recommend one to pair it with? Or is an affordable airbag suit a better option?
You can use this one with the Alpinestars Tech Air 5. We will have the RST airbag suits here in the next couple of months ready to ship before the season begins. These will be an excellent option that will save you money while getting you in a proven airbag suit. - Van

As a female I don't have a lot of options in the affordable race suit market -- is the RST STG EVO 4 going to fit decent enough or should I go for the Cortech Apex V1 since it comes in a women's version? 5'6", 30" inseam, 135lb. Used to wearing men's gear but never owned a race suit.
I do not think the smallest size we have in this suit would fit you. In this case you would be better off looking at the women's suit from Cortech. - Van

I’m sorry if I missed this in other comments. Are there stand alone level 2 armor inserts that I can buy for this suit? I would get the pro model for that alone but sadly none in stock in my size.

These are out of stock and I am not sure when they are coming back. The Level 1 piece that comes in this suit is not very far off the level 2 insert. You could always buy a stand alone back protector that will also get you a little extra coverage. - Van

Great video! Got one question though, I’m 6”5 around 195-200 pounds, long arms and legs, do you think any size in this suit would work for me? I’ve been told I may have to custom order a suit but I’d prefer to avoid that if possible, thanks!
In this suit I would start with a size 58 euro. The 56 euro is also a possibility if the 58 is too large. IMO the 58 is the most likely to fit if you are able to go off the rack. Order the suit, keep all the tags on it and try it on in the house. If you are able to get it on then sit on the bike to see how it feels. It is important to remember suits are cut to be on the bike much more than standing up. If the suit does not fit we will of course take it back. - Van

Really considering this suit. I'm 5'10, 235 lbs 36x32 pants big arms n shoulders and of cours a lil beer belly. I wear 58 on alpinestars jackets but they run very narrow and the sleeves are always too long. What size do u recommend?
At 235 I would start you in a 58 Euro. This should get you a good comfortable fit. The 56 euro should also fit you pretty well but would be tighter and require some break in. - Van

Off the shelf Items don't fit me .. I need shorter legs and shorter arms.. and Custom made can be expensive..
For sure there are some body types that need custom to get a good fit. We find the RST suits fit most Americans very well. - Van
At this price if the limbs are a bit long. A good and easy to find tailor can trim off some. I had it done myself on a previous suit
