This was definitely an experience because Spider-Man was my little brother's first Cinemasins video he ever watched. Watching this was both nostalgic when it came to some of Jeremy's actually funny stuff, but also relieving to see you tear Jeremy up yet again with his bogus critiques.
12:13 - Actually if you look closely at the newspaper in a certain scene (after Goblin's chat with him on the rooftop) Peter is credited. But before Peter wasn't an official Bugle staff member and was working freelance. The Bugle starts crediting him AFTER this moment. Just thought it was a fun little detail.
I love how Jeremy explains why I hate peoples who say Andrew’s films are too dark because he seeks out revenge but when Tobey killed Ben’s murder nobody questions it
Sometimes, it takes multiple takes to make a scene authentic. The difference comes down between the actor and director. Its clear Raimi and Tobey had better chemistry to pull this off, compared to Kubrick and Duvall in number of takes. Jeremy nitpicking gets annoying sometimes.
I would have said (in regards to the security cam sin) that Norman Osborn is a super genius from a comic book and they tend to be smart enough to tamper with security cameras. I think yours was better, but that's just what I would have done I guess lol.
People who get defensive about something they like being criticized should always remember that there's nothing wrong with enjoying something that's not perfect. I'm refering to your rant about people reacting negatively to your criticism of this movie, of course. (I mean, I got a Pokémon profile picture, I know a thing or two about enjoying stuff with a crap-ton of flaws)
I like the Amazing Spider-Man 2 and I enjoyed the first Suicide Squad, I am not about to start trying to argue that these are actually perfect movies and people are just too dumb to understand. They're flawed movies, I just personally enjoyed them. Surely you like things because they bring personal enjoyment to you, not because they're 'good'. If all you care about is its popularity or nostalgia value, do you even really like it then?
4:58 another thing- Yeah Jeremy, of course superheros don't wear glasses most of the time: it's impractical. If you were a superhero going to go fight a bunch of villains, why would you make it so easy for them to disarm you? Even if you don't need your glasses too much and you can partially see without them, you're still giving your opponent an advantage over you because you can't see as _well_ without them. All they have to do is knock them off and boom, you're disarmed. It'd be stupid. There probably _are_ superheros that wear glasses. (In fact, I'm pretty sure the hulk wears glasses, at least in human form, right? Sorry I'm not too in the loop on Marvel lore-) _They just don't wear them while fighting crime._ Edited because the formatting for the italicized parts got all funky lol

Once a movie he had a scene where he showed he had integrity
I like how Jeremy points out that Norman was making supervillainy things as if Norman doesn’t do that already in the comics or other forms of Spider-Man media.
I saw this movie when I was 4 with my mom. That day, Spider-Man became my favorite hero, and is to this day
3:25 wow, learn something new everyday!
I always thought that coughing and sneezing and running a fever was because the virus or bacteria was causing bodily functions to be disrupted which caused that, but I never knew that it was something that the immune system did.
Thanks Birdman!
Oh thank you, oh thank you so much Th3Birdman for making this video. I love this movie so much. Sam Raimi is a genius filmmaker and so Jeremy crapping on this movie is a step to far
And now, he’s directing Doctor Strange 2. This MIGHT be even better than No Way Home.
@ 14:14 spider-man is known to pull his punches too, he doesn't want to kill osbourn. he's protecting himself here
Damn this video so on point you even knew I thought I watched this video already when I haven’t
Dat ending blasted me with nostalgia. Great stuff m8!
I agree this movie didn't hold up well, but it will always hold a special place in my heart. Nostalgia man
I grew up in New York City, filming for Spider-Man ended before I left to join the Service. So I can say that, at the time, we all called Manhattan, New York or the City when we lived in the other Boroughs.
I definitely thought you'd done this already. But it feels new. You're some kinda sorcerer.
4:21 fun fact the goblin serum actually makes you way more powerful than the super soilder serum with the only downside being the whole split personality and insanity thing.
Consider we saw Green Goblin manhandled Spider-Man… Yeah, that is true!!!
The intros to your videos are awesome. They're very engaging. 🙌🏾
Dude, I'm just about ready to donate to your patreon just for using the undisputable best spidey theme.
Th3birdman is going to get sand in his eye for making us wait this long for this 😂
Hope he doesn’t cry because I missed the part where that’s my problem 🤷♂️
The line is “dirt in your eye.”
"Negligence... next question."
frickin' legend
14:31 all I hear is "No Role Modelz"
12:05 how about a sin off for JJJ protecting Peter when literally being choked by a supervillain?
that credit music, the best spider man tune of al time i get goosebumps every time i hear it. nice choice :D made my day
It’s amazing how well you are at spotting even the little mistakes! It’s very obvious that you ALWAYS do your research before pointing something out! 👌
You are awesome.
I love your videos Th3Birdman! Keep up the good work!
If you ever do Everything with CinemaSins: The Hunchback of Notre Dame, add 50 sins for calling the soundtrack bad
3:25 crazy how the body just does that
Big props for using the 90s Animated Theme at the end
Honestly, the Saturday morning Spider-Man theme at the end made me feel so happy.
i see where these next vids are leading up to. so hype
That intro got me in the feels fr
This is still my favorite Spiderman, though it might be partially fueled by nostalgia, Tobey, the billions, aunt may and uncle Ben, all my favorites.
I love how Jeremy explains why I hate peoples who say Andrew’s films are too dark because he seeks out revenge but when Tobey killed Ben’s murder nobody questions it
There are some hilarious comment riffs in this video. Keep it up Birdman!!!
I’ll be honest here with everyone…but I think Green Goblin is a scarier villain than Doc Ock. Even as a kid when I first saw it I liked him more.
I would have said (in regards to the security cam sin) that Norman Osborn is a super genius from a comic book and they tend to be smart enough to tamper with security cameras. I think yours was better, but that's just what I would have done I guess lol.
I love how you mentioned the memory thing cause I could’ve swore you made this already
3:51 it was in that moment, CinemaSins knew... they fucked up.
Love your videos birdman there always so entertaining, love these series you post 👌😄
That opening was so freaking good man
People who get defensive about something they like being criticized should always remember that there's nothing wrong with enjoying something that's not perfect.
Hope your Smash event went well. Had to bounce before I got a chance to get in. Next time hopefully! I was surprised how good you were.
Sorry I'm not too in the loop on Marvel lore-)
_They just don't wear them while fighting crime._
Edited because the formatting for the italicized parts got all funky lol
Da goat returns
Ah yes one of the best superhero origin movies imo
8:37 Th3Birdman sinning something he likes. I caught that joke _🧠_
Kudos for the Spider-Man cartoon theme. That was the good stuff.
