- Bulgaria's elite troops - members of the country's special forces - have been training with Royal Marines as part of their biggest UK deployment in a decade.
Tasked with irregular and clandestine warfare and experts in close-quarter combat, they have been working with troops from 45 Commando - learning to operate together and sharing their expertise.
The units have previously been together on exercise in Bulgaria on Trojan Footprint but now the Bulgarian troops have travelled to Scotland to continue their working relationship with the Royal Marines of 45 Commando.

Any soldier watching those Bulgarians can straight away tell they are extremely well trained.
Cool pet fly you got
How can you tell? Out of interest
@VIPICCB8 No chance. RM have been around longer, way more combat experience (Falklands, Iraq, Afghan) and better gear
@Geneholland02 Bro that was a long paragraph for you to eventually say nothing and fail to contradict my arguement but cheers for the effort
This shoothouse literally looks like something I built in highschool for airsoft w friends... If these are SF...Where is the budget for starters? Who trains with 3 ft high walls?!
Lovely cooperation❤️❤️❤️🙏🇺🇸
Slow is smooth, smooth is fast 👍💪
LOL, you obviously did some time. That applies to so many things beside just shooting. Well said and have a great day! (From Bogota, Colombia).
Speed kills
Lieutenant Ivan is definitely his real name
This is Lieutenant Ivan, Private Ivan, Corporal Ivan and Sergeant Ivan.
Crazy, I remember them being in the Warsaw pact and direct enemies. Now they're in NATO and allies. Strange how radically things change in such a short space of time.
Yep. I knew my fighting position in West Germany and my sectors of fire. Also, went thru CP Charlie and visited East Berlin. A few years later, my former enemies were allies. A great victory with only proxy wars fought rather than WWIII. Interesting times!
Strange how quick many ex-soviet countries joined NATO. You would think they were happy with the Warsaw pact
@@yurinator6380 I wonder if some type of neutral, Non-NATO non-Russia Pact could have evolved. Wishful thinking I am sure. People forget that Hitler and Stalin were on the same team at the start of WWII with Russia stealing parts and other countries along with Hitler from the beginning.
@@yurinator6380 We didn't have much of a choice. It was either joining the commie bloc or joining the commie bloc, but with the kind assistance of the Red Army... History was complicated. I can dive deeper if you would like so. :)
I hope one day we too can become friends Mr. Kim Jong.
Badass
Our royal marines the best in the world
@VIPICCB8 especially if you don't know what you talking about
The best No, one of the best yes
@@jivkotodorov84 No they’re the best
@@RRaymer - as marines may be, as military unit no, there are many other elite units, not oly in Great Britain but in many other countries as well
They are very good don’t get me wrong, but the highest ranked and most skillful force is the american delta force. But royal marines definently are up there in the list
Heroes 🙌
Pip Pip boys!!
I've always thought the SA 80 looked like a clunky and ungainly gun to hold, but it seems even worse in those small spaces, you can see the guys struggling to wield it going through the doors and in the halls and stuff.
bro is c clamping the barrel
Thank you for protecting your identity. Well done. Good reporting. Go Ukraine.
In Forces News We Trust
I bet they have more ammo than us
Seems the military are cutting costs with wood too - it has got expensive hasn't it?
Is that a joke?
it’s the Bulgarian military
@@user-ss2dt6gt5fthey're in SCOTLAND bro, what are you on about
@2:07 WHY BLUR OUT THAT HES HOLDING THE BARREL.. THESE ARE THE MISTAKES THEY SHOULD BE LEARNING FROM
😂😂😂
It’s obviously bluring that blokes face
New techniques have evolved over the years ,This is how they are trained in CQB, called the C clamp hold .
@007redmist correct, the C clamp way is now quite popular with a lot of American & brit SF teams.
But they’re still holding the actual barrel several times in the video, which you don’t do, ever. You don’t hold the barrel when doing a c clamp, you still use the hand guard.
@IamJames also true, most times iv see the C clamp in use is with dudes holding the guard, but then I saw this, so I guess with the SA 80 u can do it to the barrel as well , either way, SA 80 is just a crappy firearm
I thought the RM's were in Korea?
Yes, 40 commando, not 45.
You thought they sent every single one?
45 commando, best Of the best!
Shame it was probably Our boys that blew up that oil pipeline.
A lot of respect lost.
You lost all our respect when you showed us you don't know what sort of pipeline it is.

@@JammyDodger45 Lol, does that get your 4 incher all hard, calling someone a clown on a technicality?
@@JammyDodger45 And 'Keep Calm and Support A Clown Criminal Jew' tells me all I need to know....😋
You see I could edit the original comment, which would then make you look a clueless clown, but I won't, cos I can't be arsed.
@@yossarianreborn2904 - it's more than "a technicality" though isn't it?
If you're going to accuse the military of an international crime you could, at the very least, not be a total cockwomble and get it correct.
@@yossarianreborn2904 - I've earned that profile pic.
Unlike you I do more than hide behind a keyboard and make a fool of myself.
So edit away fella, I'll just carry on schooling you.
Wasn't Bulgaria thought to be on the other side?
Think you're meaning Belarus ?
If you're talking about 35 years ago, yes.
@@AM-ux3yx no I'm certain I heard the president or what ever he is said he's on the fence. Something about the sea and not wanting US equipment on their land.
Not since the end of the 90's when it was instrumental in stopping Russia from interfering with reinforcements in the Kosovo War and denying air passage to its military planes, and firmly backing NATO and the West.
@@ifell3
you heard correct. we dont want nato troops and equipment on our soil.
also around 70 % of bulgarians support russia in this conflict.
if a day comes and we need to support nato against russia there will be a civil war in Bulgaria and we wont support anyone.

They looks scared 🤷🏼♂️🚬
Why on earth are marines using the compressed high and low ready on a bullpup rifle is beyond me .. 0 need.
The fact the rifle is a bullpup makes no difference at all.
And if you don't think they should be using either a high or low ready then how exactly should they be holding the weapon ... as a club?
@@JammyDodger45 I said compressed high / low if you don’t know the difference maybe you shouldn’t be commenting
@@JP-tk8nx - oh dear, you're yet another gamer who thinks they know what they're talking about ... what's on your monitor isn't real kiddo.

@Awoke Awoke - I don't think you know what terminally means ... why don't you try perpetually instead?
@@JammyDodger45 you have no idea what your on about do you 🤣
Wait, Bulgaria has an army?🤣👀
we dont. your government made shure of this.
those are just SF.
Bulgaria is rank 59 in the world, for example Belarus is rank 60 ,also we produce such ammos etc from Warsaw pacht that only Bulgaria from NATO can produce it,also many other things.
