I've got to point were I'm attacking the key and i just keep getting blown out of the sky, I'm level 20 flying the mantis, i can take out 2 or 3 ships but then i just get pummelled by gods knows how many other ships, feels like I'm being told to go F myself. It's like I'm going to have to jump back an hour and just leave it.
I did it on hard difficulty.... it took me an hour but I figured out you just have to survive long enough til the UC shows up. So I just flew away immediately and fought ships that chased me til UC showed up
Not sure if anyone else is having a similar issue, but the game won't even let me board the Key. I'm softlocked out of the mission lol. I tried everything and I have no mods installed
Options: 1: Wait for Bethesda/Modding community to fix it (likely fixed in next patch given how widespread the issue is). 2: Open console '~' and type 'tcl' go into the room with Delgado, then type it again and kill Delgado. You will miss the reactor sequence and no longer get achievements, though you will be able to complete the mission. If you really care about achievements (for some reason) a mod for Starfield is already available that reenables achievements even when you have a modded game.
@@smackdapanda4116 rip, if you have a save at the start of docking the key some people have reported on the second or third time going through boarding and clearing the key the bug did not happen. Otherwise I am confident this bug will be fixed in first patch or else by an unofficial patch, just do other missions.
You can find him in the brig but its just dialogue, they made it sound like you can rebuild the crimson fleet but i guess not, unless i missed something

Try with star eagle, from the rangers questline
turn the difficulty to super easy honestly the star combat is so broken

It’s okay. I did it in the frontier. Needed to upgrade it, use crew, and sometimes just hide behind other people

None so far from the looks of it, I really wanted to finish her off as well. I hated her and Delgado lol

She can pop up after this as a random space encounter. Her ship will confront yours, she’ll berate you for betraying the Fleet, and then attack.

and click X.
my quest is bugged, at 26:19 it won't clear the reach the operations center quest marker and i can't talk to delgado. anyone know how to fix?

Spoilers but when you choose sysdef, and take Delgado alive he says something pirating is in your blood come find me one day and ill say i told you so
