YAY!! LOVE both looks! Thanks so much for sharing your honest review beautiful 😍 Can't wait for you to create more stunning looks with our Matte Obsessions 💗💗
Maryam, I totally agree with you. I’ve always gravitated to cool colors (even though I have a warm-olive skintone) and it wasn’t until I started watching your channel that I realized it was because the contrast was higher than with warm colors. Sadly I purchased but barely used those super popular warm palettes from 2016-2019. 💸 You’re still an MUA in my book. 💞
I absolutely love the cool tone palette!! Love it with my brown eyes. Her lil 9 pan nude palette is my everyday eyeshadow palette. I always mix it with the dose of colors mauve palette. I love her shadows!!
This is not the main point of the video but this gave me an idea of the effect of shadow placement😍 the warm side look open the eye and the cool side look gives a lifted (yeux tirés) look
Omg.. YOU are the first person to say cool tones pop on warm skin tones. I have yellow undertones, and cool tones, purples, look wearable and amazing on me. Warm tones just look okay.. thank you for this.
I never knew you grew up with artists!! I think that's so cool and you're very lucky. I, on the other hand, didn't grow up with artists but i did grow up with great, professional cooks. So I can almost understand how things come naturally to someone. I needed practice for makeup but food...comes naturally. We all have our gifts and art is an amazing one!!
Warm kind of Gal, tire of pinkish pallettes, I've been waiting for something like this long time ago, can't wait to put my hands on the warm pallette 🔥🔥🔥
Honestly, I always thought that Huda was overhyped… until I tried Mercury Retrograde. I couldn’t believe thatpalette would amazed me the way it did! The unexpected colors and the quality of the mattes and creaminess of some emtalic shades OMG. The cool tone palette reminds me a lot that color story of MR. So I loved the 1st look. Im a neurral with a slightly warm undertone amd completely agree with you about the pop of cool tones
Huda needs to give us new palette formats & combos. Too many brands use her exact square 9 pan compact. Now with the half one color single pan, pearls, the swirls, pressed glitter, eyeliners and bases-so much inspiration I see used in other brands that obsessions & her bigger palettes lost some of their individuality. (In my opinion) swirly cool pans, & KABBEAUTY palette is literally desert dusk remade.
Both color stories are pretty, and as always I love the look you created. However, I’m drooling over the cool tones. I’m all about pinks, mauves, plums, and purples. 😻 I agree the cool tones truly pop against your complexion. I’d be curious to see if anyone would actually notice you had two different color stories and looks on your eyes if you were out and about. 😁
I wish you had done look number one the way you did look number two(dark crease). Love the cool tones! The warm colors look beautiful as well! I wish her nine pan palettes were made in Italy like her large palettes.
Also, I'm very warmed toned and always thought that cool looks made me look like I crawled out of my own grave...lol But, the pibks seem.a lil different so I'll definitely try that Palette. As far as warm, i have at least 20 warm toned Palettes from 2016...lol
Annnnnnnnd is time for #teamtruth. #maryamstyle Love them both. I wear both. Yeah. I haven’t a clue what I am. Ha ha. I’m cool. I think cuz I look good with those colors
Check if they are overian cancer safe too I just found out talc contains asbestos and talc is pretty much on most powder makeups unless u get a talc free pallette
Honestly I think you get away with cool tones bc you don't seem warm toned (edit: in this video at least) at least the warm tones if they are there, aren't very saturated. Sometimes potent cool tones sitting on warm tone skin looks sickly and/or dull. I see that when I'm on tiktok or other social media, and I observe how it looks like on individuals. At the end of the day, it's just makeup and artistry; it's fun and comes off later so it's not serious. We all deserve fun in life. However, I also know that for some people it's their hard-earned money or a gift, and/or they want it to flatter them and enhance their beauty. Hence, a functional and magical makeup collection. Plus, I just love seeing color theory come to live. Regardless, the cool tone side looks beautiful on you and suits you! I also love how you frame the eyeshadow. The cool toned one is probably my favorite on you, but that's bias bc I don't like overtly warm eyeshadow bc I'm like a Summer Soft.
I am actually pretty warm, silver jewelry looks laughably bad on me, unless I mix it with gold. But when it comes to colors like pastelly lavenders, pinks, etc. even saturated turquoises, they pop against my skin tone and most warm or olive peeps. It’s the theory of opposites, it pops against, whereas warm tones look more natural 😊
@@MaryamMaquillage Yes! I was going to say I sense the olive(green or yellow-green), hence why the purple undertones and pink (red) undertones work! It compliments you bc of the concept of complimentary colors, hence why you feel it pops. Plus, turquoise is a blue-green undertone (not pure blue, but blue) which is complimentary to warm undertones (orange).
So.. which one? Cool or warm?
I love both on you but yes spring’s coming so Cool works betterrr❤❤❤
Cool 💖
Both these looks are gorgeous on you Maryam 💘
I love both. 😍
Warm 😀

exactly!! I noticed that myself while watching my own video lol
Loving the cool palette 😍 but it’s slightly reminding me of her haze obsessions palette.
I love the cool on you! I’m very drawn to cool color stories but I have blue eyes and warm colors seem to make the blue pop a little more.
Absolutely makes sense!
Loved both but like you said the “cool” side pops out more!!!
Omg.. YOU are the first person to say cool tones pop on warm skin tones. I have yellow undertones, and cool tones, purples, look wearable and amazing on me. Warm tones just look okay.. thank you for this.
I'm loving the cool toned one.
Both are super pretty on you! You wear both palettes really well. 😍
Love both 💗 those 2 are my ultimate favorite tones
I never knew you grew up with artists!! I think that's so cool and you're very lucky.

Yes... we're a family of immigrant starving artists lol :) OMG yummmmmm, I can only imagine your family holidays!!
Maryam, I also love the cool tone palette on you! You made them both look so easy to apply. You are so talented chica! ✌💕💫
I will try the mauve pink tone one! Loved that we have two tutorials in one 🫶🏼💖
I ADORE the cool look, those colours are perfection on you 💜🫶
I honestly love both color stories on you!❤️❤️
😘😘😘
Love you!❤
Would love to see swatch comparison of the cool palette to ND retro palette! They look similar
I like the cool on ya💕
me toooo 😻
I like both but love the warm tones on your skin
Warm kind of Gal, tire of pinkish pallettes, I've been waiting for something like this long time ago, can't wait to put my hands on the warm pallette 🔥🔥🔥
Love both but I’m with you I like the pink is my favorite. ❤ love your videos. Keep up the great work.
Look number 1 for me. Like it a lot.
Wow Maryam I totally thought you were a makeup artist 😮💗

I love both looks, but leaning more towards the cool shade palette.
OMG IS SO CUTE BEAUTIFUL😁
Yay First 🥇, team truth here!!!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Woot woooooot!!!
Huda beauty retail in the Netherlands is ici paris xl. Kinda want both
I prefer glitters, shimmers and sparkles so I would never buy a palette like this, but between the two I like the cool one
Girl I can't even do a wing with eye shadow lol
Annnnnnnnd is time for #teamtruth. #maryamstyle Love them both. I wear both. Yeah. I haven’t a clue what I am. Ha ha. I’m cool. I think cuz I look good with those colors
Team Cool
My eyes tear so much when I do my make-up. I wonder if it's because of pressed pigments
if you're using reds and purples, please check if they are eye safe
Check if they are overian cancer safe too I just found out talc contains asbestos and talc is pretty much on most powder makeups unless u get a talc free pallette
@@MaryamMaquillage Maryam ur so beautiful btw ❤and love ur personality

So why can blemishes occur overnight but not disappear overnight?
honestly lol
