Debating between the multigrip pull up bar or the mutant handles for pull ups. I hardly do pull us do to elbow pain but it helps when I do them with neutral Grip. If I get handles I can use them to do weighted rhino dips too and pull ups
Thanks for the comparison. I would have liked to see how much 'bend' is in the bars when you dip using a couple 45's for those of us who do Weighted Dips. The Rogue Matador wobbles from left to right yes, but all the force is downward, and it seems there's very little 'bend' in the bars (probably since its 7 gauge steel) while actually dipping. Another UA-cam review with a larger size athlete demonstrating dips showed these bend quite a bit (likely due to the the fact that the bars aren't welded and/or thinner gauge Cross Member Steel.) Will you be doing a video demonstrating weighted Dips any point? I would love to get these, but for $350 shipped to my home, there should only be minimal if any bend in the bars at higher weights.
Just picked one up thanks to your video. Was so close on picking up the Matador but the extra features sold me. Thanks for the video and keep up the great content.
Man iam de debating between buying just the handles or the hole dip attachments. I wanna add a 43" crossmember to rhino uprights to do dips with handles and rhino pulley
I wish they would do a more o a j cup type djpp attachment . Like two amperage handles that you can place om your rack so you can lean forward more as well . I see a few for the smaller racks but can't find one for the 3by3
Your post the other day reviewing this dip attachment just happened to cross my feed when I was searching for something completely unrelated in the fitness home gym world... I think I might have been researching lever arms? Anyway, I lucked the fuck out seeing your review, thank you UA-cam and thank you to you. I immediately got in touch with them and ordered a 5/8" compatible UDA in white with welded white ends with the 18" 1in hole handles for my Monster Lite Half Rack, and also got a pair of 12" 5/8" compatible handles that I plan on using in my top back crossmember directly in the rack for pull-ups, and I may also end up using them directly into REP ISO Arms when those come back in stock as upgraded handles. I have come to realize that my the 5/8" compatible version I got was lucky AF in an 8 unit test run. The timing, my god. The white upgraded UDA and extra pair of handles and shipping and tax was not cheap, but honestly, I'm so stoked for it that I don't care and will gladly throw more money at Mutant Metals if they end up as good as they seem and they come out with more products. But it all happened because I randomly saw your review at 2am the night before I ordered from them on Sunday night/Monday morning. Thank you sir! And to echo another pinned post here--I don't even have my Half Rack yet to put the UDA. And I don't even have my HOUSE yet to put the rack! That's how much I believe in these suckers.
Grant, I’m so pumped to hear that!! The white UDA is going to look AWESOME on your rack. You’ll love it, and it’s definitely worth the money for sure. I like the idea of getting some extra handles to do pull-ups with. I love doing neutral grip work. Sometimes the algorithm spits out exactly what you need 😉 Enjoy my friend!
@@GarageGymGainz Thank you sir. The rack I'm planning to get will have white front uprights and black back ones, with a blue pullup bar, so I'm looking to accent with all white and blue and stainless steel wherever I can. The extra handles was probably overkill, but I thought it might be nice to stick with the 18" handles on the UDA and they didn't have those available yet in 5/8", so I went with the 1" hardware handles even though the UDA itself will attach at the rack with 5/8". But that meant I couldn't put those handles directly into my 5/8" rack, hence the extra pair. Probably could have been fine just doing 5/8" throughout and a single pair of 12"-ers, but hey, I'm not gonna regret owning this I don't think. Thanks so much again for helping me find these guys. I literally don't use Instagram at all and lucked out hard finding them.
@@GarageGymGainz Gotta be honest, too, I'm really happy to be supporting this family owned business just getting started out, too. I work for myself as well, and it feels really nice supporting someone I can talk to directly on Facebook.
It certainly feels way better being able to actually reach out and hear back quick from a company. I’ve had nothing short of a fantastic experience with them!
Good review! I would definitely be going with the Mutant Metal dip attachment. Although, the rogue attachment is still pretty great considering the price difference.
Rogue did not ship my entire product now I MUST repurchase (PAY AGAIN) for the missing parts. Worst company in the entire USA. NEVER BUY ROGUE - YOU WILL GET SCREWED!!
@@GarageGymGainz I contacted the BBB Better Business Bureau and filed a complaint. Rogue Fitness replied to BBB that they found my order (they couldn't find for me) and will be shipping me the items they forgot to ship.

I think that’d be a great idea for a video! I usually do weighted dips, but haven’t on this one yet
@@GarageGymGainz Hi! Could you follow up if you’ve been using this for heavily weighted dips and how that bend or lack of bend has been? Thanks!
Would love follow on this topic! Thank you for the amazing reviews
I wish Mutant comes out with a fully knurled pull-up bar. I know rogue has them but they’re not fully knurled
That would be sweet!

Will the Mutant Metals Dip attachment fit a Monster Lite rack?
Awesome review(s) and comparison. I have a clear grind chameleon UDA ordered and can’t freakin wait for it to arrive!!

Question... i see 35mm vs 45mm which is better one to pick?
Love the red of mutant metals and those knurled handles
The red turned out awesome!

I was looking at ordering a mutant metal one , what's the difference between the t-pin and the threaded version?
You totally should! I love mine. The threaded version is a newer locking mechanism I believe. Should be good to go on either!
I have the same question. I don’t know what the difference is either.
Ding ding ding and the winner is Mutant Metals by knockout
KO!
