Three rings for the breakfast kings under sky. Seven for the lunch lords in their halls of stone. Nine for the dinner lords doomed to dine. One for the Snack Lord on his Snack Throne.
I was doing this starting at at 8 years old in my father's jewelry shop back in the mid 1970's. Very easy to make. Made some crazy designs, even mounting stones in the tines. By the time I was 9, I was designing, wax carving, pouring the plaster in the casting cylinders, burning out the wax in the kiln, melting the gold, silver or whatever,, casting it, then doing all the finishing work. I learned a lot more in that shop including cutting and faceting gem stones. It was fun.
I made a painting series called "Memento Mori" and I love the idea behind this. I live this channel so much!!! One year I hope to join you guys at The Gathering!!
Drill bits get expensive, I got 2 different ring Mandrills on Amazon for about $10 each. Also, hearing steel before working is absolutely a good practice, but on something this small doesn’t seem required unless you’re going to be beating and hammering it a while. (Steel work hardens with hammering, heating relaxes the metals stress and prevents stress fractures.
Man.. how the heck did you cut out those tiny letters on the Cricut? Even with a brand new blade, my Cricut Maker struggles on things twice that size! That turned out great, btw! I'd love to see more jewelry tutorials. The little details like this are what brings a cosplay to life. You do a great job of thinking of things like this and it's precisely where I struggle :D
i think you may have accidentally not stitched in the footage and audio of you removing the head of the utensil. it cuts directly front the sanding to the cleaning of the raw edge. which for stainless steel can be chopped off with a saw, a dremel, or a particularly hard set of bolt cutters. heck, you could bend it back and forth until it snaps off like a paperclip (the friction makes the metal heat up and harden so it gets brittle there very easily. remember to temper it back so it can be soft again)
The electro etching looks great. Although I am surprised you didn't try doing the marking with your laser, if you have a rotary for it that is. Nice fun project though
lol I love this channel and the videos you make, but by heating up your drillbit with that blow torch you may have messed up its temper, don’t trade a $20 drillbit for a $10 ring unless you plan on making a lot of rings
Most stainless steels aren't magnetic Drill bits are tempered, putting a torch to one might mess with its ability to cut, if the heat makes it to the tip. That being said, it's an awesome build! I love it
BTW, "ignem dare" is a poor translation for what you intended. The literal translation of that would be "giving fire", which is close enough. In future, the phrase "tradere flamma" would serve you better, as that translates into "hand over the flame". The problem is, the word "pass" in latin is usually in reference to death, so if you try to force the traslation to be "pass on the flame", you will end up with a phrase that actually means to "passed in the flame", which just means you burned...
If you are swelling at night, you're consuming something that your body is negatively reacting to and it's being distributed via blood. I made a few rings myself and wear a couple as well, i don't have swelling to that degree. You may want to look into that, i don't want to lose or great skill tree host.
I was really interested in Conquest 2025 but everything I'm seeing says that it's in Germany so I can't buy tickets if I don't know where it's happening.
"i want to make a spoon ring"
[Doesn't have a spoon]
"Fork it, full send."
How serendipitous, I just finished blacksmithing my wife a pair of stainless steel rings
The 66% not subscribed are MAD I say! This is a top-tier channel and maker community

Nice ring! I like how the sharpie gives it the impression of mildly tarnished silver.
One of my favorite saying from Latin
'Audeo Sidera Tangere, Nam Audentes Fortuna Juvat'
"I dare to touch the stars, for Fortune favors the bold"

Tynk has me cut the heads off spoons so she can decorate them with resin for her pirate hats. Im gonna have to start saving the handles
Made stainless steel and damascus rings. Definitely gives you the freedom to envision what you want and go for it.
This gives me a reason to dip into the jewelry making stuff in my uncle's estate.
Love the energy and the, keep it simple and use what you have, vibe you have going on.
Keep making and keep learning!

Make sure you overcut edges. Add like .2-.3mm of overcut
Also make sure it cuts slowly and deep enough
Your video is all over the place, but your advice and tips are sound! 😃👍
Hi, This Viedo is awsome! And the Outcome is SO crazy good
THANK you! Was super fun to do.

1:19 he used bolt cutters
Sockets from a rachet set make good ring mandrels cause they're all different sizes n hardened

That looks bad ass. Great job!!!

Cl3ver what an awesome vid thank you for sharing
That looks so cool!
Excited to watch!!!
the ring is fire ❤🔥
Awesome!
So, all later rings will be forks of the original design?
If anybody is going to do the sharpie part of the design, just know that it's going to wipe right off when you use hands sanitizer!

Stainless isn’t magnetic. There are exceptions, but 90%+.
There are many kinds of magnetic stainless.
Come on people, hit the fricken subscribe button.

Not sure if this helps, or matters... The end of a standard drill is 118 degrees. Give or take.
