Hi Ebony. I'm into black furniture too. I also painted my china hutch black using General Finishes gel stain. I love the black on that piece of furniture and I'm in love with that hint of color in the wallpaper. It's going to look amazing in your space. You have done a great job with this flip. You might wanna consider using mineral spirits to wipe down the dusty shelves. It does a good job of accumulating the dust onto the rag, it doesn’t saturate the wood pores like water, and it’s helpful for sappy/oily/icky substances on the surface.
For the protruding buttons, you might be able to take a flush saw to them. They’re under ten bucks at Harbor Freight. You wouldn’t have to Bondo, and you’d have a nicer visual blend.
The terminology depends on the gauge of fastener that tool uses. It’s more than likely an 18ga brad nailer (and stapler).

What a beautiful Hutch. ... the way you Did that beautiful back and black is always so elegant ..I'd say You could Probably sell that for around 700....of course depends on which area and market but for sure what a gorgeous transformation sis 🥰❣️👍

Hi Ebony…simply stunning!! Did you have to try and sand the grooves, or did you just clean grooves and paint?
Thank you Marna! I actually just cleaned and painted over the groves. Depending on the piece I will take the time to sand every nook and cranny but because I am keeping this piece I just used my best judgment on which areas needed that extra attention to detail :)

Wait how did you put the glass??? Inside
There are pegs on the inside that clamp to the glass, so it makes removing and replacing the glass easy :)
