So funny I should come across this today! My home treatment room is pink, white and grey and I just ordered some marble contact paper for my wax trolley aswell! I've always had a pvc tablecloth over the shelves of it with double sided tape in white and it saved me from so many spills but the wax pot had stained it from the heat so I'm going to keep some underneath it like a mat. Love the thankyou for coming sign, its so simple and sweet. I bet your clients love your beautiful space.xx

I'm definitely going to "steal" the photo frame idea! I'm a hair stylist, but it would be genius for any home beauty business.
That is a great idea about the electronic picture frame. Preety cool. Much better than using an actual tv like some places use to show their like before and after results and things like that.

I started three years ago and it was only last year that I felt happy with the salon and my clients so I would say two years, it takes time and determination, you’ll get there the most important thing is to not get disheartened if you can’t get things how you want them straight away xx

Where did you get your gray blanket? What brand and color name did you use to paint your wax trolly, I’m having a hard time finding a true rose gold paint.
I always curious do you folks make money open a home based bedroom size salon? the asian is really into nail salon their salon can easily cost 50 k to 1 million, so im sure they attracted customer more.

Tamara Viso it depends on your town/state, some require you to have several different licenses and some require none.
